Position Description:
Program Manager has responsibility for the successful execution of assigned program(s) to include:
- Provide management oversight for al aspects of program execution activity
- Provide leadership and guidance to Program Managers/Deputy Program Managers and integrated product team leads to ensure success in attainment of technical, cost, and schedule objectives for assigned program(s).

The incumbent is responsible for the policy development, planning, coordination and procedural management of the wide area network (WAN). 3 Month Contract to Hire –
24. Engineering Support Manager (Colorado Springs, CO)
PURPOSE:
To manage the engineering field support team, meeting the technical support needs of client’s multiple product lines.
Provide Leadership and managerial guidance to Field Engineers who provide telephone and email support for multiple clients
DUTIES DEFINED:
• Responsible for Troubleshooting, Accessory installation and configuration as well as field communications troubleshooting.
• Provide Accessory product training both internally and at client’s location.
• Assist with the creation of content and production of client’s product Engineering Technical Bulletins, Product Training material, Product Training Presentations and Internet Web Page Materials.
BUSINESS TRAVEL:
Some business travel within the United States. Travel is usually scheduled to leave on Monday and return by Friday.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Mandatory:
• 4-year technical degree or 7+ years experience with technical customer support.
• 5+ years managing a technical support team.
• Computer literate with common windows applications such as: MS-Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Possession of strong leadership qualities and a commitment to responsibilities.
• Excellent communications skills, written and verbal.
Expected:
• Experience with Microsoft operating systems at both a Server and PC level.
• Experience working with MS-SQL or Oracle databases.
• Prior experience in providing technical support.
• Good public speaking and oral presentation skills.
• Ability to write with clarity and accuracy.
Desirable:
• Experience troubleshooting TCP/IP network communications and RS-232 analog communications over twisted-pair, fiber-optic, radio and dial up modems.

Essential Job Functions:
Acts on behalf of the Company for all matters relating to the contract. Ensures compliance with all
aspects of the work statement. Meets or exceeds customer expectations. Acts as a central point of
contact with the Government, attending briefings, conferences and other Government designated
meetings. Serves as the principal liaison between company and Government on this contract,
interfacing with Government contracting authorities, using agencies, technical representatives and
managers. Manages a large, diverse workforce in a customer-service, deadline-oriented
environment. Develops implements and applies management control procedures. Ensures that
quality standards are applied to all levels of the work and measured for effectiveness. Establishes
policies and procedures for performance and control of all company business management functions
and the management and supervision of technical support. Directs/monitors the development of
project standard operating procedures. Ensures that material maintenance, transportation, supply,
operation of Government-automated systems and other services are provided as required in support
of the project. Monitors the performance of department managers and supervisors and submission
of CDRL reports. Monitors contractual performance and costs of the work and takes action to
minimize/correct discrepant conditions. Provides self-assessments to the customer, conducts
management reviews, analyzes and acts on financial data, and mentors and counsels employees.
Provides for the health, safety, and morale of the workforce. Provides internal written and verbal upchannel
reporting.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Contract Administration, Industrial Management or
equivalent. Requires minumun of five years current experience in the principles of organization,
customer service management and administration of similar or related multi-function logistics
operation (Army preferred). Must be deadline oriented and customer service focused. Experience in
managing a large, widely diverse employee population. Must be able to write and communicate
effectively and multi-task on a routine basis. Must be familiar with and able to work to ISO 9001 and
OSHA standards. Be familiar with EVMS reporting procedures. Specialized areas of experience
include: logistics support in the areas of supply, maintenance and transportation. Interrelated
functions of the Army's financial management and general accounting requirements as they relate to
the total responsibility of the contract. An understanding of the Army's data processing systems as
they relate to the total logistical responsibility of the contract. This includes the ability to implement
future programs relative to the above. Unit status and material readiness program, ability to plan for
mobilization and reserve component logistical training and support, military correspondence and a
knowledge and understanding of the Army's chain of command. Courses in personnel management
desirable. PMP and/or Six Sigma certification a plus.
Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility
requirements for access to classified information.
