Position Description Join a Technologically Advanced Aerospace Firm as the Chief Engineer on a Boeing Project. You will play a critical role in the in the design and certification of an Auxiliary Power Unit System. Open position exists for a Technical Chief Engineer on Boeing 787 development program responsible for the design and certification of the APS500 Auxiliary Power Unit System. The Technical Chief Engineer (CE) is the technical focal point of all aspects of the program through certification and is the technical leader of the functional team assigned to the program.

The Procurement Specialist/Counselor will deliver quality, cost effective, and expeditious counseling to Colorado COMPANY Clients for obtaining government contracts. This will include general counseling on business development, which involves knowledge of how to create professional relationships with government program managers and contracting officers, as well as with prime contractors. A working knowledge of best business practices specifically for performing on government contracts is required, which shall include a pragmatic knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations, and ideally of as well as of State procurement regulations.

A. SALARY: The salary shall be in a range of $50,000 to $55,000 plus fringe benefits for a full time position. This salary is competitive with salaries at other COMPANYs around the country.

D. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Procurement Specialist/Counselor shall adhere to a code of generally accepted standards of professional conduct.

The successful candidate will be part of Marathon’s Rocky Mountain Oil Operations Team. The individual will work out of the main field office in Cody, WY and report to the Maintenance and Construction Operations Superintendent. The Rocky Mountain Maintenance and Construction Team is responsible for supporting oil and gas production operations in Wyoming and Utah. This engineering position supports the operation of two small sour gas plants (Oregon Basin and Garland) and a C02 removal plant (Drunkards Wash). The position supports field operations in the design, construction, and operation of gas gathering, compression and conditioning equipment that impact the gas plants. The position also supports gas production and compression facilities in several other field locations that do not have plants. This position play a key role in monitoring daily gas plant operations, troubleshooting process-related equipment problems, providing technical engineering evaluations, specifying and ordering equipment, planning and implementing annual plant turnarounds. This position works closely with plant supervision and operators in support of daily operations to improve facility efficiencies, compliance and safe operations. Applicants should be familiar with Claus Sulfur Recovery and amine regeneration systems and have experience with sour gas compression, conditioning and re-injection. The successful candidate should expect to be assigned to the position for a minimum of three years. The candidate must have a valid drivers license and the ability to drive safely on Wyoming roads during all types of conditions.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor gas processing and treating in all applicable fields and ensure gas sales specifications are met.
• Participate heavily in planned and unplanned facility shutdowns including work scope definition, preplanning, project activity, safe shutdown and safe start-up supervision, energy isolation plans, and work supervision.
• Provide Chemical Engineering support across the RMO as needed.
• Set operating parameters to optimize processes and ensure control & instrumentation of the plant process systems are compatible.
• Arrange specialized analytical services as required.

Responsibilities:

• Understands SCADA systems including host computers, client computers, interfaces with various databases, alarming software, etc. Capable of troubleshooting and repairing minor problems with above.
• Stays abreast of new equipment and technical trends in electronic, communication and automation systems and equipment.
• Working knowledge of production, artificial lift and process operations.

Overview:
The position will be located in Dickinson, North Dakota, although some travel to all North Dakota and Montana properties will be required. The successful applicant will direct, coordinate and facilitate the design, installation, and operation of field SCADA, hosts (HMIs) and communications systems, throughout the nine fields that comprise the BAKKEN. The position will require advanced computer skills and utilization of automation software. The successful candidate must be capable of understanding and troubleshooting SCADA communication, setup, and data mapping processes. Interaction will be necessary with Dickinson office, field operations, and corporate personnel, both at the operations and technical levels. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team setting are a priority. The position will require some after hour call outs and weekend duties.

Responsibilities:
• Work with the local SCADA Administrator in directing and assisting other workers, both company and contract, to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair SCADA and SCADA related communications systems.
• Set-up new wells and facilities in the host system, set-up and initialize communications between "host" and "end device", build necessary "view" screens, and perform data mapping (TOW/SCADA and SQL Historian) necessary to ensure smooth data flow from field device throughout the Marathon production data system.
• Provide accurate record of changes, modifications, and programming of existing and new SCADA related computers, servers, and software.
• Monitor status of area software licensing requirements. Insure licensing agreements are current.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all automation systems.
• Comply with all standards set by the Domestic SCADA team.
• Map and monitor production data flow from SCADA to TOW via TOW/SCADA. Troubleshoot and resolve dataflow problems and/or errors.

Qualifications:
Degree: Not required although electrical background a plus
Computer Proficiencies: Strong working knowledge of personal computer software and hardware as well as SCADA software and hardware.
Certifications: None required. Technical background with strong diagnostic skills a plus. Work Experience: Moderate background in electronics, PLC systems, PID control, electronic measurement devices, and RTUs. Oilfield SCADA/automation experience is a plus, as well as experience with Wonderware HMI.

This resident position is based in Marathon Equatorial Guinea Production Limited (MEGPL) which has operations consisting of offshore production platforms and onshore gas processing facility. This position will support the HES element of Process Safety Management (PSM) training for MEGPL. The position will work closely with Operations personnel and Management in support of ensuring a safe and healthy work environment. As a member of the PSM training team, this position will support the PSM Training Program which will ensure that all personnel are properly trained to safely perform their jobs. This includes the identification of operations and safety training requirements, definition of appropriate methods of training, verification that training is understood, and maintenance of appropriate training records.

The PSM Training team is in the process of being organized under the Manager, Recruitment, Training & Development. Once organized and positions filled, the PSM/HES Training Coordinator will report to a new position, Manager, PSM –Technical Training. Until that time, it will report to the Manager, RTD.

Responsibilities:
• Support PSM by developing and delivering effective HES classroom –based instruction to participants in classroom lectures and group sessions.
• Conduct follow up to training to determine applicability and effectiveness of course materials and programs to ensure compliance with Marathon standards and applicable Equatorial Guinea requirements.
• Identify training requirements for PSM-HES related training.

Overview:
The successful candidate will be primarily charged with providing environmental support to assist the Rocky Mountain Oil Operations (Cody, Wyoming) in complying with federal, state and local air quality regulations.
The primary areas of responsibility will include Title V and minor source facilities located in the Big Horn and Wind River Basins of Wyoming. Additional responsibilities may include specialized air quality engineering support to other Marathon operations in Wyoming. The candidate will work closely with management, operations and other HES professionals to clearly define environmental issues, provide engineering analysis, perform dispersion modeling, and develop cost-effective solutions for air quality concerns. The HES professional must be able to effectively interact with agency representatives to secure permits, negotiate operating conditions, meet reporting obligations, and resolve compliance issues.
In addition to having air quality engineering expertise, broad experience with produced water treatment / management systems, emergency response, SPCC, and remediation will also be relevant.

Responsibilities:
• Will be the contact person for a conventional oil and gas operations area providing support on a variety of air quality compliance, permitting, and engineering needs.
• Will be integrally involved with a variety of other environmental engineering issues (including water, waste, and emergency response).

The HES&S Management Coordinator position will be part of the Corporate HES&S organization supporting implementation of the health, environment, safety and security management system called Global Performance System (GPS) throughout the Upstream and Corporate organizations. Management systems are critical to helping Marathon achieve continual improvement in health, environment, safety and security performance.

The HES&S management system sets the high level expectations for HES&S performance throughout the company. Our Corporate HES&S Standards support the management system by providing more detail on these expectations. Through the management system and corporate standards, we develop repeatable, effective, sustainable processes for continual improvement using a Plan-Do-Check-Adjust framework. That means we PLAN by identifying and prioritizing risks. DO by establishing processes to control the risks. CHECK by measuring and critically assessing our performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation and continual improvement effort for GPS within the Upstream and Corporate organizations. Marathon Oil Corporation, an energy industry leader, is engaged in the worldwide exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas, as well as the domestic refining, marketing, and transportation of petroleum products. We are currently seeking a Field Operator in the North Dakota area to efficiently maximize production from assigned wells, maintain surface separation and flow assurance equipment, and report/review production data in a safe, clean, and environmentally responsible manner.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all TOW and SCADA data are correct on a daily basis. Advise Production Supervisor and I&E Technician of any problems by phone, e-mail, and in writing at the earliest opportunity.
• Check for any safety or environmental related issues on location and similarly report as above.
• Check all pumping wells to insure they are pumping correctly; check daily gauges to verify loss or gain of pumped fluids. Check POC for run time changes and calibration on location. Keep mechanical integrity for operations smooth, and maintain as necessary or report for larger changes requiring specialty equipment.
• Check pressure on tbg, csg, and surface csg for all wells but especially for injection wells daily.
• Ensure that all wells are producing at maximum rates. If noticeable changes or suggested changes are required work with Production Engineer and Supervision regularly.
• Periodically compare gauge line readings to ROC data on SCADA wells
• Check injection stations, chemical pumps, and mechanical equipment for proper lubrication, leaks, unusual sounds. Report problems to supervisor.
• Compare ROC gas data to purchasers data on SCADA wells.
• Check all pumps (pneumatic or mechanical) to see if they are in proper working order or repair if needed.
• Check to ensure that all chemical pumps and rates are in working order and pumping the required chemical amount. Communicate any problems to chemical rep.
• Check pumping units for maintenance as required.
• Help trouble shoot, take fluid shots, make applicable changes, and work closely with all staff personnel involved in field issues.
• Ensure all pilots and burners are lit, if needed and functioning properly (good and clean flame), repair if needed
• Ensure all important items are communicated to your relief in written form, but do not leave projects you could complete yourself for your relief to do.
• Ensure all housekeeping issues are taken care of immediately. Take care of equipment and vehicle cleanliness and maintenance as required.
• Input daily production and data into laptop, or PC provided to relay through main frame system.
• Check all locks and seals periodically
• Complete TIER 1 audits in a timely manner
