Protection Strategies Incorporated is looking for a Security Manager for an overseas (Liberia) Operations and Maintenance contract support for two Armed Forces of Liberia compounds. The Security Manager will be reporting directly to the Project Manager and will be responsible for preparing the Security Standard Operating Procedure, establishing guard force schedules and supervising all security aspects related to the two Armed Forces of Liberia compounds.

The candidate will provide oversight for the third-country-national guard force and provide direct supervision over the guard force shift supervisors. The Security Manager will be responsible for maintaining in-country situation awareness, coordinating with the US Embassy RSO, providing security briefings and conducting refresher training as necessary for guard force members.



REQUIRED SKILLS:

This Deputy Program Manager will assist the Program Manager in his duties as directed. As the first in succession to the Program Manager the DPM is responsible for managing a material maintenance and supply operation facility at the Naval Weapons Station, Goose Creek, SC. Provide system support (AWRDS) to ship's ammunition operations. Manages the ship download to upload, obligatory service and maintenance of the various types of equipment as well as supply activities associated with container ships within the number of days specified. Manages accountability, repair, rebuilding, reconfiguring and preserving and repacking equipment, equipment sets, material supplies and special sets kits and outfits (SKO) for long term storage afloat, on site or redistribution. Oversees equipment maintenance stored aboard ship while deployed. Ensures shipboard personnel are properly staffed to perform maintenance, and exercise of equipment to assess, maintain and report equipment/materials serviceability, availability and readiness. Manages a Contractor support team that has the agility, flexibility and breadth to fulfill mission requirements not only in improved environments but also deployed austere conditions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree in Logistics Management, Production Management, Operations Management, or Business Management or related Engineering Field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering). 10 years of experience in a related field with 7 years being in a management or supervisory capacity. Applicable specialized military experience can be used in lieu of formal post high-school education on a one year for one year basis.
Complete a Technical School (e.g., Military Maintenance Officer's School, Military Supply Operations School, Logistics Management School) related to at least one of the functional of the APS3 program.

Completed the wheeled motor transport maintenance officer course, or equivalent.
Ability to review and apply technical specifications and requirements.

14. Subject Matter Expert/Training Needs Assessor (Ft. Belvoir, VA)

The Human Terrain Assessment Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the National Geospatial Intelligence College (NGC) is a team member with specialized skills and in-depth knowledge in the HTA discipline. The SME supports design, development, implementation and evaluation of training and education using this specialized expertise; contributes to the execution of project task plans; and assesses the implications of trends, policies and methodologies on future HTA training. Activities are conducted in support of the NGC and project team's objectives and will take up about half or more of the positions time. In addition to supporting the development of curriculum, this position will also conduct forward-looking training needs assessment (TNA) of each upcoming HTA course as the other half of the role. This will include working with other SME's, evaluating existing course mat erial that may be reusable, commercial courses available, etc. The SME also works closely with managers, senior specialists and other members of the HTA Special Project Team.

Specific duties may include:

- Establish effective relationships with the NGA / NGC customer.

- Conduct training task analysis, HTA training course design and development, instructional simulations/scenarios development, course implementation, and course evaluations the HTA curriculum.

- Work with the training development team to determine the best approach for specific training requirements.

Craft Operator/Maintainer Instructor - only looking for U.S. Navy personnel E-6/E-8 level no Army or Air Force Veterans, Foreign Nationals with NAVY background are also welcome. Definition summary: Under general supervision of the Project Manager the Craft Operator/Maintainer Instructor will instruct on the operation and maintenance associated with Riverine boats as part of a contract with the US State Department in South Sudan.

Job Function:
§ Required to instruct all aspects of Riverine Craft operation and maintenance, which includes auxiliary systems, accessories and repairs associated with Riverine Craft;
§ Contribute to the furthered development of the Program of Instruction (POI), and associated training plans, and perform platform and field instruction to selected members of the SPLA (and possibly trainees from other armies) in the topics of Preventative and Corrective Maintenance when and as directed by the USG;
§ Represent and provide a positive image as a US Government Contractor. Liaise with members of the regional military contingents in connection with training related activities, community representatives and the local population at large;
§ Additionally, must also provide instruction on propellers, steering mechanisms, marine plumbing, and other boat equipment.
§ Take on any other duties as assigned by the project manager and operations manager.

Position requirements/qualifications:
§ Small Craft Operation (5000 Hrs) and maintenance repairs (Inboards/Hydraulics);
§ Small craft electronics and fiberglass repairs;
§ Harbor Pilot Experience;
§ Navigation Systems (GPS, Depth Finder, Map and Compass);
§ Ability to operate marine HF/VHF Radios/Antennas;
§ Certified in basic first aid and CPR;
§ Shipboard firefighting and damage control;
§ Licensing requirements vary by occupational specialty, type of vessel, and by body of water (river, inland waterway, and oceans).

Other qualifications:
§ Must be an effective Communicator;
§ Africa experience;
§ Positions require excellent health, good vision, and color perception. Good general physical condition is needed because the job may require the ability to lift heavy objects, withstand extreme environmental conditions, stand or stoop for long periods of time, dexterity to maneuver through tight spaces, and good balance on uneven and wet surfaces, while underway or in transit.

Conducts inspections and assessments.

Prepares annual audit plan and schedule that defines the frequency and nature of the audits to be performed. JOB DESCRIPTION: Be capable of directing operations at emergency scenes for various incidents to include structural, aircraft, hazardous materials, weapons, and natural disasters.

DESIREABLE QUALIFICATIONS: U.S. Citizen

Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of fire fighting experience and two (2) years of being an Assistant Chief in an organized fire protection function that provides fire suppression services. At least three (3) of the ten years shall have been in an organization that provides aircraft crash, fire and rescue services.

Education and Certification: Shall be a high school graduate or equivalent. Shall be certified to: Fire Officer III, Hazardous Materials Incident Commander, Fire Inspector II, Fire Instructor II, and Airport Firefighter.
