Position Description MDSEC is the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) space-layer Center of Excellence and is located in the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC). Senior Aegis Engineer responsibilities, in conjunction with the Campaign Test Engineer, include, but are not limited to: Developing, maintaining, and delivering a campaign plan that maps events to critical data requirements and key verification, validation, and accreditation (VV&A) data; Risk Management planning for campaign plan; Providing management, continuity, and integration throughout all phases of each of the campaign's events; Providing event specific management, planning, design, integration, readiness, and execution, as necessary; Determining optimum series of tests and experimentation events that provide data to support system engineering verification and assessment, and demonstration of architecture configurations and system capabilities that achieve the campaign objectives; Producing, delivering, coordinating, and/or provide quality control to all applicable documents and reviews in accordance with MDA policies and concepts of operations as it relates to Space Tracking and Surveillance System (STSS) integration, association, or data collection in an MDA test event. Position Description Scheduler to assist M&S Task Order (TO) Leads and Event Leads in developing IMS's traceable to the Integrated Master Plan (IMP), the TO Basis of Estimates and resulting in an IMS that can be integrated at the Program level. M&S TOs employ approximately 80% discrete tasks. The scheduler will use the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) to assess progress against the IMS. The IMS must be resourced to assist the TO Leads in understanding facility and personnel conflicts. The scheduler will work with Systems Engineering Technical Processes (Configuration Management, Risk Management,
Requirements Management and Data Management). Scheduler will work closely with M&S TO Leads, Project Managers and Infrastructure Matrix employees. They will develop and manage the M&S schedule management process and will facilitate integration across all JRDC TO / Projects. The scheduler will identify critical paths and collect useful reporting metrics. The scheduler will coordinate with TO Leads and Event Leads for progress/status reports and be responsible for generating EVMS data. The scheduler will also develop recommendations on appropriate schedule structures, resource allocations, level of detail, naming conventions, and procedures for use within the projects.

From Points North (ex. New York, New Jersey, Maryland, etc...) - Take Route 13 via the Chesapeake Bay Bridge tunnel. Once past the tunnel, take Route 60 (Shore Drive) to Atlantic Avenue. Follow Atlantic Avenue south through the resort and turn right onto 19th Street. Continue on 19th Street for 8 blocks and the the main entrance to the Virginia Beach Convention Center will be visible on your right. Parking on both sides of 19th Street.

From the South - Convenient routes include I-85, I-95, US 13 and US 17. Each of these routes intersect with US 58. Follow US 58 East to I-64 West and then to I-264 East.
