Network Infrastructure Engineer.

KnowledgeTech, Inc. (KTI) provides cutting-edge support to clients throughout the government including the U.S. military and several national agencies. We specialize in providing IT Operations and Maintenance (O&M), Systems Engineering, Intelligence, and Operations Research support to major commands.

KTI requires a Network Infrastructure Engineer to support a client site at Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan.

KEY ROLE

The Network Infrastructure Engineer will be the SME for designing, engineering and installing any and all commercial or tactical communications as prioritized by the government client. The Network Infrastructure Engineer will work with the Projects Officers overseeing the engineering, installation, and quality assurance of all communication projects going on within the CJOA. The Network Infrastructure Engineer will be the primary Technical Point of Contact for network and telephony equipment. This support includes but is not limited to participation in planning and execution of immediate and long-term projects, and network expansion and integration with other networks at Bagram Air Field and throughout the operational area. The Network Infrastructure Engineer shall support the maintenance of wiring, including, but not limited to copper (network and telephony) and fiber optic cabling inside of the CJTF-82 buildings, and outside wiring plant between the CJTF-82 buildings within the TCF's/CPN's. For some of this work, the Network Infrastructure Engineer will be prepared to work and/or coordinate with other military and civilian Agencies or groups to contribute to the successful completion of larger tasks.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have SECRET Clearance.

• Network Infrastructure Engineer must possess 2 years of experience working with networks infrastructure and equipment typical to the strategic and tactical networks in Afghanistan to include COMMs rooms, server rooms, ADNs, switches, routers, TLA stacks, Cisco Call Manager (CCM), Tandberg 1000, 1700, 3000, 6000, Tandberg MCU, Cisco Video Conferencing 3500 equipment, copper cable plant, fiber cable plant and cross-connects into and out of the CJTF82 JOC Compound.

• Network Infrastructure Engineer must also possess 2 years of experience working with specific integrations into the Afghanistan Theater SIPR and CENTRIXS-ISAF Networks. These integrations are the Unit Hub Node (UHN), PSDS2, GBS, DVB-RCS, Predator Feeds, Warrior Alpha feeds, HARFANG and any other Full Motion Video (FMV) feeds.

• Network Infrastructure Engineer must possess a minimum of 2 years working with Audio Visual equipment found in JOC Bridges, VTC rooms, Conference Rooms (CCR), and Situational Awareness Rooms (SAR).

• Network Infrastructure Engineer must also possess working knowledge of all Armed Forces Network (AFN) services, Free-To-Air (FTA) satellite TV services and commercial TV services in a deployed environment.

• Network Infrastructure Engineer must possess basic knowledge of typical Theater Hospital infrastructure and medical IT equipment for emergency situations.

• The Network Infrastructure Engineer must possess 4 years of experience working in commercial telephony switching support. These include, but are not limited to: RedCom IGX and SL100 telephone switches, KG-84, KIV-7A, and KIV-19 Encryptors. The Network Infrastructure Engineer will also have a minimum of 4 years IP communication and troubleshooting and a working knowledge of the entire Afghanistan Theater's IT/Communication infrastructure as to incorporate a Å\big pictureÅa view on impacts and repercussions of planned projects.


• Network Infrastructure Engineer must have a minimum of 4 years experience in the direct field and a bachelor's degree in a computer engineering discipline or a minimum of 8 years direct experience in the field including, network infrastructure design, network infrastructure engineering, and network infrastructure architecture.

Additional Qualifications.

Network Infrastructure Engineer must have 2 or more years of deployed experience in a combat zone.

Key Role

The Information Assurance (IA) Analyst will define and implement the organization's Information Assurance (IA) Process. Support execution of the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and annual security reviews for custom developed and integrated COTS solutions. Assist tracking, completion, and reporting of actions required to resolve IA issues, alerts, plan of action and milestones (POAMs), etc. Utilize automated tools to support IA functions including vulnerability scanning and reporting. Support multiple change management processes by evaluating changes for potential impacts to the organization's security posture.

Basic Qualifications

• SECRET Clearance Required

• Information Assurance (IA) Analyst must have a minimum of 2 year experience in Information Assurance field.

• Information Assurance (IA) Analyst must possess a minimum of 2 years experience with DoD Information Assurance (IA) architecture and equipment to include RETINA server, Window Server Update Server (WSUS) 3.0, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), GFI Event Manager and GFI LAN Guard Server.

• Information Assurance (IA) Analyst must possess a minimum of 2 years experience with Active Directory services, ports and protocols and DISA STIG compliance and must be efficient with Yellow Jacket, Q-Tip, Harris Stat, Microsoft Patch Deployment and Log Collector

• Information Assurance (IA) Analyst must possess a current HBSS certification.

• The Information Assurance Analyst must have a minimum of 2 years experience with DoD mandates to include, Management of Federal Information Resources, DoD Directive 8500.1, Information Assurance, DoD Instruction 8500.2, Information Assurance Implementation, DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and experience using automated vulnerability management scanning tools. 17. CACI Technologies Inc. is currently looking to immediately hire 45 BETSS-C Operators for training and deployment to South West Asia (SWA). Training will be conducted at the CACI Contractor Training Facility in Fayetteville NC, followed by CRC and immediate deployment to SWA for 1 year. Compensation is approx $172,000 plus a two week mid tour R&R.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate designated systems. Install and operate all sensor systems assigned to BETSS-C and RAID as outlined by the Unit Commander assigned at each Area of Responsibility (AOR).
Advise the Unit Commander on the feasibility, functionality and capabilities of the Sensor Systems assigned to the AOR.
Perform preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) on each system and its components, IAW with the operators manual, technical manual and training materials.
Provide small group training to soldiers during Relief In Place/Take Over of Authority (RIP/TOA)
Using a troubleshooting guide, troubleshoot systems to find faults and then articulate the precise problem in order to repair the system.
Document incidents appropriately and forward to qualified supporting maintenance personnel as necessary. Maintain log of maintenance performed. Know the repair and reacquisition process, in Theater and AOR, of equipment that has been found faulty during PMCS.
Successfully complete the training for the designated systems.
Perform operator maintenance tasks, with sufficient technical skills to follow troubleshooting procedures and convey findings to a qualified maintenance individual.
Provide all necessary training to soldiers for operation of the Sensor Systems, as required.
Complete a minimum twelve (12) month tour in South West Asia (SWA) from the date of arrival in theater.
Be solely responsible for the Sensor Systems they are assigned to. The Soldiers that are trained on the systems can be utilized for shift requirements and assist in the installation, operation and maintenance of the equipment.
Work in conjunction with the unit commander on the ground to ensure all the unit's requirements for the Sensor Systems are met.
Required Qualifications: Knowledgeable and experienced in US operation centers in Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and/or Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). Bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years related experience; or equivalent experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree.

Desired Qualifications: Previous experience operating or using BETSS-C Surveillance and Protection Systems, (e.g. RAID, Cerberus, TASS Annunciators, Unattended Ground Sensors, Thermal Imagery, Ground Surveillance Radar, close Circuit Television, Command and Control Systems) in order to provide operational subject matter expertise to the operator training. KEY ROLE

The Network Infrastructure Installers will be the SMEs for simple design and installation of any and all commercial or tactical communications as prioritized by the CJ6 and/or COR. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• SECRET Clearance required.

• Network Infrastructure Installers must possess a minimum of 4 years experience with copper and fiber cable plant.

• The Network Infrastructure Installers requires a minimum of 4 years experience in commercial wiring, to include copper, fiber and coax. The Network Infrastructure Installers will possess knowledge of standard color codes for such cabling. The Network Infrastructure Installers will know how to pull, terminate and patch such cabling. This will include, but is not limited to, inside and outside types of cable. REQUIREMENT

28. KnowledgeTech, Inc requires two Command and Control, Communications and Computers (C4) Support Specialists to perform signal transmission, IP routing and switching, telephony, video teleconferencing, audio/visual, automation, and various specialty technology supports. Primary duty locations will be at Afghanistan Border Coordination Centers (BCC).

KEY ROLE.

1. Each C4 Support Specialists will be required to operate, install, and maintain high frequency (HF), very high frequency (VHF), and ultra high frequency (UHF) radio systems to include erecting and maintaining the associated antenna systems with each radio. The specialists will be using an encryption fill device to update COMSEC as required. NOTE: All COMSEC must be stored in accordance with regulations and be destroyed per guidance from the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).

2. Each C4 Support Specialists will provide desktop support, IP networking, and PC maintenance services. The specialists will perform workstation connections, configuration, integration, and testing. Additionally, the C4 Support Specialists will perform preventive maintenance for hardware and software such as equipment cleaning and vacuuming, cable/connection inspection, software virus protection, and configuration integrity.

3. Each C4 Support Specialists will provide support for the installation, inspection, repair and maintenance of all current Audio and Visual Systems residing on the CJTF-82 (or replacing unit) owned segment of the BCC. The C4 Support Specialists shall troubleshoot and correct deficiencies pertaining to A/V systems. The maintenance and deficiency correction will include, but is not limited to, on-site repairs to A/V equipment, fabrication of A/V cables for replacing bad cables and for unforeseen A/V and communications requirements and validation of systems being re-fielded.

4. Each C4 Support Specialists will operate the Video Teleconference (VTC) Command and Control (C2) equipment. The contractor is required to maintain and support the VTC C2 system. The government is currently using the Tandberg 1000 Desktop VTC Unit. The C4 Support Specialists will also be responsible for coordinating with the COR to facilitate the return of all items under warranty to their appropriate repair facility, as well as, the re-shipment and reintegration of said equipment back to its originating location.

5. The C4 Support Specialists will support the installation and maintenance of wiring, including, but not limited to copper (network and telephony), fiber optic, and coaxial cabling inside of the BCC compound.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. Each C4 Support Specialists is required to possess a minimum of 3 years experience working with IP systems, telephony, desktop computing and military C2 systems.

29. KTI requires two (2) Audio and Visual Systems Technician to support a client site at Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan.

KEY ROLE

• The Audio and Visual Systems Technician shall be responsible for supporting the installation, inspection, repair and maintenance of all current Audio and Visual Systems residing on the CJTF-82 owned segment of Bagram Air Field as directed by CJTF-82 managers. The Audio and Visual Systems Technician shall troubleshoot and correct deficiencies and related problems pertaining to A/V systems within the CJTF-82 area of responsibilities. The contractor shall provide a technician who is capable of maintaining this and similar type of equipment.

• The Audio and Visual Systems Technician shall also be required, in concert with the Network Infrastructure Technician, to provide support for special events on Bagram or in other areas within the CJOA. These Å\special projectsÅa may involve temporary runs of various cable types and creative solutions to service delivery issues for these events. Set up and tear down of Audio Visual systems are typically part of these events.

• In addition to the management, maintenance and operations of CJTF-82 A/V equipment and systems, the Audio and Visual Systems Technician must attend all shift change meetings on the JOC floor to ensure that all A/V aspects of these critical briefings are unimpeded by system failure or connectivity issues.

• The Audio and Visual Systems Technician shall also be responsible for coordinating with the Technical Manager to facilitate the return of all items under warranty to their appropriate repair facility, as well as, the re-shipment and reintegration of said equipment back to its originating CJTF-82 location.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• The following describes the primary responsibilities of the Senior Network Engineer and is intended to frame the general responsibilities of the position.

• Video Teleconferencing (VTC) Technician shall schedule, initiate, test, troubleshoot established VTC links and maintain existing and new links. Video Teleconferencing (VTC) Technician shall coordinate with technicians in theater and all over the world to ensure no unscheduled troubleshooting is attempted or uncoordinated network changes occur during a scheduled VTC that could affect the performance of the scheduled VTC.

36. KTI requires two (2) SWITCH AND INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNICIAN to support a client site at Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan.

KEY ROLE

• The following describes the primary duties and responsibilities of the Switch and Infrastructure Technician; this description is intended to frame the position.

• The Switch and Infrastructure Technician will support the installation and maintenance of wiring, including, but not limited to copper (network and telephony), fiber optic, and coaxial cabling inside of the hospital supporting voice and data capability within the hospital. For some of this work the Switch and Infrastructure Technician will be required to work and/or coordinate with other military and civilian Agencies or groups to contribute to the successful completion of larger tasks inside of the confines of the hospital.

• The Switch and Infrastructure Technician will create and update documentation of all the physical inside wiring plant at the hospital. The Switch and Infrastructure Technician assists with commercial telephone voice switch configuration, maintenance and User support and provides the hospital communication staff with requirements analysis and subsequent recommendations on communication and telephony solutions.

• The Switch and Infrastructure Technician will also be required, in concert with the communications section, to provide support for special events in the hospital. These Å\special projectsÅa may involve temporary runs of various cable types and creative solutions to service delivery issues for these events. Operation and maintenance of Audio Visual systems are typically part of these events.

• BASIC QUALIFICATIONS.

• The Switch and Infrastructure Technician must possess 2 years of experience working in commercial telephony switching support, and 2 years of experience with secure and non-secure telephony technologies similar to those in use at Bagram Air Field. These include, but are not limited to: RedCom IGX telephone and SL100 switches and with concentrated emphasis on the Nortel 61C switch.

• The Switch and Infrastructure Technician must also possess a minimum of 4 years experience working IP communication and troubleshooting as providing these services for the hospital infrastructure is considered part of the routine daily function.

• The Switch and Infrastructure Technician shall support the Nortel61C switch to include remote diagnostics, parts and material repair or replacement, emergency technical assistance, and technical documentation updates.

• The Switch and Infrastructure Technician will also work with the entire Bagram IT/Communication infrastructure so as to incorporate a Å\big pictureÅa view on impacts and repercussions of planned projects. Ability to work in a team environment and a working knowledge of the hospital's infrastructure is required for the success of the Switch and Infrastructure Technician.

• Switch and Infrastructure Technician must possess basic knowledge of typical Theater Hospital infrastructure and medical IT equipment for emergency situations.

• Switch and Infrastructure Technician must have a minimum of 4 years experience in the direct field, to include PBX administration (NORTEL 61C), network infrastructure troubleshooting skills, and copper/fiber cable plant installation and maintenance.

Position Description The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) is responsible for coordinating the research activities of assigned IRB-approved study protocols. Assignment of protocols will be made by the Department Head of CIRD in consultation with the CRC. Protocols will include both pediatric and adult patients. The CRC is provided oversight by the Department Head of CIRD and is accountable for research matters to the Principal Investigators of each research protocol. Work is evaluated by observation and outcomes effectiveness of operations and compliance with medical requirements and professional standards in terms of quality and appropriateness.
The CRC is guided in the performance of duties by the Department Head of CIRD, the Principal Investigators of each protocol, written policies and procedures as set forth in Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations, NMCP and BUMED instructions. Independent judgment is exercised to determine appropriate action and priorities in the performance of duties.
The CRC will be adept in the use of managerial skills, communication skills and leadership skills as the coordinator of complex research protocols involving human beings. The CRC will acquire a working proficiency of appointment booking, appointing referrals, documenting Telephone Consults and other patient interactions, coordinate laboratory studies, x-rays, and other tests. In order to accomplish this task, the contractor employee will be expected to become proficient in the use of clinical computer systems including CHCS-I and AHLTA within 1 month of hiring.
Personal contacts are with patients, their families and/or significant others, providers, clinical nurses, nursing department head, corps staff, respiratory staff and clerical staff. The CRC will also have frequent contacts with research personnel from government agencies, granting agencies and industry sponsors. Contacts will be for the purpose of consultation, reporting, exchange of information, orientation, teaching, guidance in the performance of duties, and to elicit positive behavioral response such as guiding patients through a research protocol. Shall report data on research patients in accordance with IRB-approved protocols and applicable regulations. Recruit and screen patients using protocol inclusion/exclusion criteria. Refer eligible patients to the PI for final evaluation. Assign appropriate patient randomization number per protocol design. Ensure that the consent process has taken place effectively and all questions are answered satisfactorily and documented. In collaboration with the Research Pharmacist, ensure that drugs are correctly dispensed as per protocol. Maintain accurate documentation record of drugs received. Provide education to patients on compliance, possible side effects, drug interactions and the importance of contacting the coordinator. Coordinate the performance of phlebotomies, electrocardiograms, initiate intravenous infusions, vital signs, specimen collection and other procedures as required by the protocol. Process and prepare specimens for lab analysis and shipping. Observe universal precautions and OSHA standards when processing or handling specimens. Obtain laboratory results and consult with the PI for follow-up care. Collect data in a timely and accurate manner and submit information to coordinating centers as required. Report adverse events to governing agencies and sponsors as required by protocol and regulations. Evaluate compliance of research subject and complete documentation of status and progress.
Conduct telephone, face-to-face interviews or mail information for follow-up visits. Maintain detailed documentation of the research study including but not limited to individual patient files, databases as required by the protocol and the Investigator’s File Binder/Regulatory Binder.
Prepare reports and other correspondence regarding the research protocol for the IRB, granting agencies, industry sponsors and other organizations as required by regulation and/or the protocol. Interact on a regular basis with the Principal Investigator regarding the conduct of the research study.
Attend conferences and other meetings as required by the protocol, the PI or sponsoring agency. Returns telephone calls from research participants in an efficient and timely manner and documents interactions appropriately.
Work is performed in ambulatory care spaces and inpatient wards with some risk of exposure to infectious disease, for which gloves, masks, or gowns may be required for safety reasons.
Specific Requirements • A minimum of two years experience coordinating research protocols OR certification as a Certified Clinical Trial Investigator (CCTI), Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC), or Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) or the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA).
• Working knowledge of U.S. Federal government regulations regarding the conduct of human clinical research.
