9. Subject: Electro-Mechanical Opportunity in CT, $55-75K

Hope you’re having a great week. I just wanted to shoot you a quick note to let you know about a great opportunity I have in CT for somebody with some good electrical and mechanical skills. Details below. I think that this would be an ideal position for a GSE or an EM with good mechanical experience. If you know of anybody who may be interested in these, have them get in touch with me ASAP at 800-282-0360 ext 140 or at JLutkenhouse@LucasGroup.com . Phone interviews are being scheduled for Tue and Wed 4/20-21. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to give me a shout.

Company Type: A world leader in developing and producing fuel cells that generate energy for buildings and for transportation, space and defense applications.

Title: Field Service Engineers and Field Service Techs

Job Description: The Service Engineers manage a team of FSTs, but still help with the hands-on work. They manage the technical triage that occurs in the field. They often huddle with design engineers in the office to make adjustments to hardware in the field, and often provide technical guidance by remote control to the FSTs. FSTs provide installation, service, and maintenance on their fuel cell products at the customer site.

Location: South Windsor, CT (Best places to live include Manchester, Vernon, and Tolland).

Degree: FSE: 4-year engineering degree, electrical engineering strongly preferred. FST: no degree required.

Experience Required: Both must have exceptional troubleshooting and maintenance experience with electrical distribution systems and mechanical systems, understanding how their systems work together. Must be able to read wiring diagrams and schematics in order to troubleshoot. They may need to replace blowers, motors, and other ancillary parts on the hardware, then turn around and tear into complex electrical systems. These fuel cells are like small power plants.

Special Requirements: Cannot have more than 15 years in and has to be available to start by May 31st. Must have excellent communication and technical skills.

Compensation: FSE: 75 -82K FST: 55-60K

Travel: FSE: 15 %. FST 30- 50% travel (some travel to Korea). Most domestic travel is road travel to their sites in NY, NY, and MA.

Shift: Day

Growth potential: If FST, could grow into FSE. If FSE, could grow into regional manager.

"Going to the expo allows you to have businesses look at your resume and give you recommendations to better prepare it. Introducing yourself as many times as possible gives you a chance to perfect the 30 second interview."

"For anyone actively seeking opportunities, I would advise them to take advantage of the expo. If nothing else it serves as a bit of practice for meeting and talking with potential employers. It can really help build confidence and overcome some anxieties about making a transition into a new career."

"It was well organized and run in an excellent manner. The variety of employers along with the number of educational opportunities along side the veteran based organizations was quite a sight. It was awesome to see so many different organizations concerned about veterans."

12. We are looking for candidates for the position of Maintenance Mechanic here at our Waukegan facility; this position will play an important role in making sure that the machines in our factory continue to operate at an optimal level. Any qualified candidates can send their resumes directly to my email, and they can call if they have questions.

The ideal candidate should have Mechanical and some Electronics experience. From what I know of Navy ratings, I would think that GSM, GSE, GM, and MT would have a good chance of meeting the basic requirements of the job. EM, EN, MM, MR, ET, FC, FT and perhaps a few others may also fit the description.

Depending on the qualifications of the candidate, the position would probably start in the low $20s/hr; but, most importantly, it offers an opportunity to get into a great company with good benefits, a solid reputation, and a history of promoting from the inside.

Please let me know if you have any questions,

Thank You!
