Position Description Technical Test/Evaluation Manager to support the current and advanced development baselines of the AN/SQQ-89 system and supporting system elements. The AN/SQQ-89 baselines include AMOD, SCN, ACB-09 and ACB-11 along with the supporting TDSS/CADRT elements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develop test plans and procedures that are used to test new releases and baseline updates.
• Reviewing test plans, test cases, test summaries, and test reports resulting from informal, developmental and integration test events.
• Develop and coordinate test schedules and resources with the project lead engineers, test site personnel and other organizations involved in the test events.
• Provide status reports to the project lead engineers.
• Provide test schedules, document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and coordinate/engaging testing efforts across internal and external test teams.
• Perform black-box and white-box testing, provide feedback on usability, report issues/defects relating to the application, verify issue resolution provided by developers, and take appropriate action based on the correctness of the fixes.
• Lead test planning, manual testing, test automation, test environment setup, defect logging/verification, and review of requirements and use cases, regression testing.
• Lead definition of load/stress and performance testing environment, tools and test scenarios.
• Manage the daily activities of the Technical Test and Evaluation teams responsible for testing new and existing AN/SQQ-89 systems at various sites and on various platforms.
Specific Requirements • Navy Sonar test and evaluation experience required.

In place of the above required qualifications, another like DoD service designation or equivalency will suffice, upon approval of the Center for Security Forces, (CENSCFOR) Director of Training (DOT), or completion of a civilian (or commercial) formal course of instruction which has been evaluated and certified as a JIT equivalency by the Center for Personal and Professional Development. Weapons instructors must also be a graduate of one of the following courses of instruction: Small Arms Marksmanship Instructor (SAMI) (A-041-0148) (USN); Combat Arms Apprentice Course (USAF); Primary Marksmanship Instructor (MOS 8531) (USMC); Small Arms Weapons Instructor (SAWIC) (MOS 8532) (USMC); Marine Cadre Instructor (MOS 8153) (USMC); Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) Small Arms Instructor Course; National Rifle Association (NRA) 5 Day Law Enforcement Handgun and Shotgun Instructor Development School; any firearms instructor course taught by or used by any other federal or state law enforcement agency, upon the approval of the CSF CENSECFOR DOT.

Candidates with the following skills or qualifications will receive preference: Antiterrorism Training Supervisor (AT-TRASUP); Security Reaction Force-Advanced (SRF-A); Armed Sentry/Security Reaction Force-Basic (AS/SRF-B); Non-Lethal Weapons Basic Instructor (NLW BI); Non-Compliant Boarding, Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure (NCB VBSS); Master at Arms, Class A (MAA); a SECRET DoD security clearance; two years of past military experience in an operational environment or as a law enforcement representative with a military or civilian security force with a basic understanding of military/civilian security force techniques.
All employees must be able to pass a standard Navy physical readiness test (PRT) for their respective age group. Some work will be conducted outside and will be subject to varying weather conditions. Normal work hours are eight (8) hours a day Monday - Friday but due to the nature of the service being delivered irregular work hours can be expected. Prospective employees must be flexible to changing conditions.
