10. Positions for former Marines (Japan; Guam; Hawaii)
If you have the relevant skills spoken of below or know of someone who does, please request they send their resume to starr_chris@bah.com - URRRAAAAHHHH!!!!
It’s for the Marine Corps move to Guam from Okinawa, and will likely cover mostly environmental engineering, military construction, and IT type skillsets- we have a quick turnaround once the RFP drops so we are trying to get ahead of it. These folks could be located in either Okinawa or Iwakuni, Japan, or on Guam. Hawaii is a potential too. We’re OK with moving people to these locations if they are not already there. They have to have USMC experience, but a solid career in areas other than what is listed above may work. Availability will probably need to be mid to late summer. They also need to have at least a Secret clearance (or can get one fast). This is the req info I have so far:
Provide support to Marine Forces in the planned proposed move of Marines from Okinawa to Guam. Specific experience sought to support MARFOR includes environmental planning, facilities planning, military construction (MILCON) planning, collateral equipment planning, and training range planning and management. Assist the Government in developing strategy, and coordinating execution of that strategy for this force transition. Collaborative coordinate with key stakeholders and commands associated with this force transition.
