7. I will be at the job fair in Killeen, TX (Ft. Hood; Dec.1) and Ft. Sam Houston (Dec. 2), representing Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC).
The job fairs are sponsored by civilianjobs.com
Hopefully many of the people on this job site will be there if they are in need of a job.
As a side note and to assist former military personnel looking for positions, from what I have seen as a recruiter, PLEASE tell them to come with a decent resume and it really is not worth their time to apply
for a position they have not worked in for the past 5 years.
Some of the worst resumes I see are from current or former military personnel and they are applying for jobs they have to current experience if any at all. When this happens, I try to get in touch with them to
Help them out with resume suggestions. Sometimes they are very receptive and others times they actually get mad when I call, but all I am trying to do is let them know what to do in order to get their resume reviewed and help them look better.
I hope to see many of your K-Bar members there.
