Job Description
The Health Care Service Support – Iraq Program Manager establishes a clinically safe and professionally managed healthcare environment and provides primary health care as well as resuscitative surgical care in accordance with U.S. or equivalent medical standards on a 24-hour basis, 365 days of the year to Chief of Mission (COM) personnel U.S. Embassy Baghdad, serving a population of approximately 14,000 – 17,000 adults.
SCOPE:
Under the supervisor of the Director – Information Technology, the Information Technology Specialist provides network support and assists with analyzing requirements to plan systems that will provide the capabilities required for projected workloads. Information Technology Specialist serves as technical expert for the development, implementation, management, and support of HCSS-Iraq systems and networks.
An Information Technology Specialist may assist with the planning of various layouts and installations of new systems or equipment at eleven (11) health service delivery locations in Iraq and ensure connectivity with DOS and other systems. In support of the HCSS-Iraq mission Information Technology Specialist may perform in any or all of the following roles as assigned by Director - IT:
Network Administrator - A network administrator is responsible for maintaining HCSS-Iraq local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), Internet, intranet and network security applications. A network administrator may also be called up to design, install, sustain network hardware/software and supports the CHS and HCSS-Iraq computer network system.
Computer Support Specialist - A computer support specialist supports CHS and HCSS-Iraq and DOS/COM information technology policies and practices by providing technical services to end users. A computer support specialist may be responsible for help desk support and/or technical support. A help desk computer support specialist assists end users via phoneor radio by troubleshooting, diagnosing technical issues and providing solutions to computer problems. A technical computer support specialist is responsible for solving technical computer problems by installing and repairing hardware/software applications.
Database Administrator - A database administrator maintains, supervises and tests CHS HCSS-Iraq database management system, as required. A database administrator also schedules and oversees the installation, modifications and changes to database management system. Based on requirements, database administrators may manage a team of database specialists for special transition projects and implementations. A database administrator must have extensive knowledge in database management systems and be able to train end users on policies and procedures.
All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which CHS is recognized.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE:
A MCSE is preferred.
Five (5) years of experience in a full-time IT Specialist or similar job is required.
A BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Technology is highly desirable
Requires the ability to read and interpret written information and effectively communicate verbally and in writing where information includes scientific terminology.
Requires knowledge of network planning and basic skills required by a Network Administrator, Computer Support Specialist and/or Database Administrator.
Equivalent non-U.S/Canadian education, certification, diplomas and experience may be qualifying, after CHS review.
All health care providers and medical support staff must have recent clinical/technical experience in patient care/technical support for at least 6 months out of the past year
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
As assigned by the Director – IT, the IT Specialist:
• Performs IT help desk functions.
• Confers with managers to obtain information on limitations and capabilities of existing systems and capabilities required projected workload.
• Assists with the planning, implementation, and supporting of the network platform and with the installation and maintenance of various Local area networks’ hardware and software infrastructures.
• Assists with analyzing requirements for the computer and network systems technology and reviews available vendor offerings to recommend computer and network architecture solutions to the Director - IT.
• Assists with the planning of future enhancements to the infrastructure including networking needs, such as hardware software and storage solutions.
• Assists with evaluating factors such as number of departments serviced by data processing equipment, required reporting formats, time requirements and cost constraints, and need for security and access restrictions to determine hardware configurations.
• As assigned, develops policy, procedures and controls to ensure only authorized access and use of DoS OpenNet (unclassified, secure system). Assists the Director – IT and the Health Systems Administrator/Logistician account for and control DoS computers and other related IT property.
• Responsible for the day-to-day backup of the network and ensuring the smooth running of the networking process. May be responsible for training users to use new or modified equipment.
• Monitors equipment functions to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned by the Director – IT.
OTHER DUTIES:
• IT service providers will document trouble- and other reports, service calls/work performed, system or configurations changes.
• Attends and participates in a variety of meetings and task force groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, new task efforts, and new policy requirements.
• In the rare event of direct patient contact, maintains the highest regard for patient dignity and observe the precepts of the American Hospital Associations Bill of Rights for patients.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• U.S. Citizens will require a favorably adjudicated Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) investigation conducted by the Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security;
• Will sign a CHS HCSS-I Foreign Service Agreement (FSA) and is bound to the terms and conditions of the FSA.
• The normal workweek is established by DoS Chief of Mission
• Local Iraq and other non-U.S. citizen assignments under this contract in Iraq must undergo, and favorably pass, an Investigation conducted by the Iraq Embassy Regional Security Office (RSO). This background investigation will be conducted by the RSO’s FSNI (Foreign Service National Investigator).
The following requirements apply to Information Technicians:
• Shall be licensed/certificated in the United States or Canada; IT support providers trained/licensed/certificated elsewhere will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Participate in training, (including HIPAA training) that may be required by DOS or CHS prior to deployment to Iraq.
• Shall complete a two week Foreign Affairs Counter Terrorism training course prior to deployment to Iraq for work on the HCSS-Iraq contract. Training will include: Combat First Aid, Weapons Familiarization, Defensive Tactics/Driving, IED recognition, Surveillance Detection and Hostage Survival and Personnel Recovery
• Must have a valid, current U.S. Driver’s License, country of origin or International Driver’s license
• Must have a current U.S. Passport or Country of Origin Passport.
• Shall be proficient in the ability to speak, write and communicate in English.
• Shall demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic word processing programs and the CHS Medical Management System software.
• Shall understand and practice the precepts of the American Hospital Associations Bill of Rights for patients.

The Health Care Service Support – Iraq Program Manager establishes a clinically safe and professionally managed healthcare environment and provides primary health care as well as resuscitative surgical care in accordance with U.S. or equivalent medical standards on a 24-hour basis, 365 days of the year to Chief of Mission (COM) personnel U.S. Embassy Baghdad, serving a population of approximately 14,000 adults.
SCOPE: The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) reports to the HCSS-Iraq Program Manager and will be clinically supervised by the site medical director and work under the direction of a Physician, Surgeon, or Anesthetist.
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) will be assigned to treat patients in one of two settings: (1) Small medical/trauma hospitals, (2) Large medical/trauma hospital.
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) will administer anesthetics to patients undergoing medical, dental, and surgical procedures. They will work under the direction of the attending surgeon, dentist, or anesthesiologist. Duties will include getting supplies and equipment ready for procedures, studying and interpreting pre-surgical tests to determine how the anesthetic will affect the patient, and assuring that an adequate blood supply is on hand in case of an emergency.
In addition to administering the prescribed anesthetic, the CRNA will monitor the patient’s vital signs and communicate the information to the physicians. They will also perform other tasks during these medical procedures, such as inserting artificial airways, administering oxygen, and attempting to prevent surgical shock. In addition, they may be required to assist with stabilization of patient and coordination of evacuation of patient to medevac center or CONUS.
All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which CHS is recognized.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Completed an accredited Nurse Anesthetist school in the United States,
Maintain current certification and an unrestricted license in any U.S. State,
Hold and maintain a current unrestricted U.S. (State) license and have a CRNA certification.
Have three (3) to five (5) years experience as a Nurse Anesthetists.
Have and maintain current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR); or have audited an Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) course.
Nurse Anesthetists who recently completed a Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) course or comparable advanced trauma course featuring “live tissue” or simulation training are very desirable.
All Nurse Anesthetists shall have recent clinical experience in patient care, including at least 6 months out of the past year.
All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession and applicable professional specialty organizations.
OTHER DUTIES:
• All Health Care Providers (HCPs) will document care delivered and follow up care required.
• Attends and participates in a variety of meetings and task force groups to improve quality and outcomes, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, new task efforts, and new policy requirements.

The Laboratory Technician will hold certification as a medical laboratory technician through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), the American Medical Technologists (AMT), the National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCALP) or the Board of Registry of the American Association of Bioanalysts (AAB). Laboratory technicians certified by non-US entities and/or non-Canadian entities will be reviewed and approved on a case by case basis.
Must have and maintain current certification in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

The Pharmacy Technician reports to the HCSS-Iraq Deputy Program Manager and will be supervised while performing field work by a site medical director.
The Pharmacy Technician will deliver services in one of three settings: (1) Field Health Unit, (2) Small medical/trauma hospitals, (3) Large medical/trauma hospital and assists in the treatment of patients by dispensing drugs and related medical supplies under the direction of a physician.
Pharmacy technician is a HCSS-Iraq staff member who works under the direct supervision of a licensed Physician or Surgeon or other authorized health care professional, and performs many pharmacy-related functions. Job duties include dispensing prescription drugsand other health care products to patients. Pharmacy technicians the pharmacists to participate and develop extended clinical pharmacy roles, such as independent prescribing by site Medical Directors and other licensed staff. A key role is ensuring the security of prescription drugs and pharmaceuticals and control of the pharmacy inventory.

The Health Care Service Support – Iraq Program Manager establishes a clinically safe and professionally managed healthcare environment and provides primary health care as well as resuscitative surgical care in accordance with U.S. or equivalent medical standards on a 24-hour basis, 365 days of the year to Chief of Mission (COM) personnel U.S. Embassy Baghdad, serving a population of approximately 14,000 adults.
SCOPE: The Physician Assistant (PA) reports to the HCSS-Iraq Program Manager and will be clinically supervised by the site medical director and work at the direction of a Physician, Surgeon or Anesthetist. The PA will be assigned to treat patients in one of the following settings: (1) Health Units (non-surgical/field medical care clinics), (2) Small medical/trauma hospitals (DSH), (3) Large medical/trauma hospital (DSH).
The Physician Assistant (PA) support the medical function and will treat patients in these settings to ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis, treatment and recovery, request necessary tests and follow-up visits and refer patients to specialists as necessary.
Some settings may require the Physician Assistant (PA) to coordinate with local hospitals to determine local capabilities, coordinate admission, monitor and arrange final disposition.
In addition, some settings will require stabilization of patient and coordination of evacuation of patient to medevac center or CONUS.
The Physician Assistant (PA) will stabilize and prepare sick and injured personnel to a higher level medical facility. The Physician Assistant (PA) will ensure that medical kits supplied to all personnel are maintained as to contents and serviceability. The Health Care Service Support – Iraq Program Manager establishes a clinically safe and professionally managed healthcare environment and provides primary health care as well as resuscitative surgical care in accordance with U.S. or equivalent medical standards on a 24-hour basis, 365 days of the year to Chief of Mission (COM) personnel U.S. Embassy Baghdad, serving a population of approximately 14,000 adults.
SCOPE:
This position description is applicable to all Family/Emergency/Internal Med Provider (Physician) (General Medical Officer) who may be selected. Hereinafter: Physician/GMO. The Emergency Medicine/Family Practice/Internal Medicine Provider reports to the HCSS-Iraq Program Manager and is supervised by the designated site medical director and may be a:
• Emergency Medicine Specialist (defined by current board certification) with a broad interest and experience in providing primary care across the range of office-based specialties including, but not limited to, GYN, dermatology, ENT, pulmonary, cardiovascular, ophthalmology, orthopedics, psychology and gastroenterology.
• Family Medicine Specialist (defined by current board certified or equivalent board certification) with interests as defined above and with an interest, additional training and practice experience to include the broad range of gynecologic, medical, surgical, orthopedic, psychiatric and trauma emergency.

The Physician (GMO) will be assigned to treat patients in one of the following settings: (1) non-surgical/field medical care clinics or (2) small medical/trauma hospital (3) Field Health Unit. The physician (GMO) will treat patients in these settings to ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis, treatment and recovery, request necessary tests and follow-up visits and refer patients to specialists as necessary. Some settings will require physician (GMO) to coordinate with local hospitals to determine local capabilities, coordinate admission, monitor and arrange final disposition. In addition, some settings will require stabilization of patient and coordination of evacuation of patient to medevac center or CONUS.
In some locations, the Physician (GMO) will have a leadership role and serve as both a Physician and Site Medical Director or Chief Medical Officer in support of a Program Manager.
Physicians (GMO) provide a U.S. standard of care for our patient care/treatment model.
All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which CHS is recognized.

Radiologists diagnose and treat diseases of human body, using x-ray and radioactive substances: Examines internal structures and functions of organ systems, making diagnoses after correlation of x-ray findings with other examinations and tests.
The Radiologist will utilize an array of imaging technologies [such as X-ray radiography, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), nuclear medicine, positron emission tomography (PET) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)] to diagnose or treat diseases. They will correlate medical image findings with other examinations and tests, recommends further examinations or treatments, and confers with referring physicians.

Overview:

Advanced Technology Institute (ATI) is a leading east coast technical training school. Instructors at ATI are responsible for the training and supervision of students as they prepare for their chosen career.

We are currently seeking a Welding Instructor to prepare students in pursuit of a career in the operation of Heavy (Diesel) Vehicles. Instructors spend approximately half their time teaching hands on practical applications of theory. Instructors at ATI are responsible for:

• Providing hands-on classroom and lab instruction
• Maintaining and updating course syllabi; assisting in the development of new curricula
• Preparing and utilizing approved lesson plans
• Providing for the care of supplies and equipment
• Implementing evaluation devices of student learning to measure progress and competency
• Evaluating student competence.
• Preparing student progress reports and grade reports
• Maintaining accurate and timely attendance records
• Attending faculty meetings
• Maintaining professional qualifications through participation in continuing education programs and academic courses
• Participating in campus events to include open houses, student awards ceremonies, and graduation ceremonies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5 or more years of recent work experience in welding industry
