HTs do the metal work necessary to keep all types of shipboard structures and surfaces in good condition. They also maintain shipboard plumbing and marine sanitation systems, repair small boats, operate and maintain ballast control systems, and manage the Quality Assurance Program.
The duties performed by HTs include:
• installing, maintaining and repairing valves, piping, plumbing system fittings and fixtures, and marine sanitation systems.

Hull Technicians work in a variety of situations at sea and ashore. Sometimes their work is performed indoors in a shop environment. Position Description
Job Summary
Standardization Pilot (SP) serves as the Program Managers representative in interpreting and implementing the organizations S-61 Aircrew Training Program (ATP), maintaining and managing flight records, Air Wing Information System (AWIS) entries, and updates of aviation references and publications (35%). Performs duties as a Standardization Pilot; and conducts training and evaluations of rotary wing crewmembers at PSD (35%) and the evaluation of rotary wing crewmembers in deployed locations to include standardization program oversight at those deployed locations (30%). Applicant will be required to fly both single and multi-ship day, night, and Night Vision Goggle (NVG) missions; primarily under visual meteorological conditions. Applicant will be required to maintain NVG currency and Instrument proficiency.
Principal Accountabilities
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Single point of contact for Standardization activities, the SP assists the program Chief of Standards with the supervision and maintenance of the standardization program. The SP ensures all crewmembers are fully integrated into the ATP, trains and evaluates crewmembers in their designated aircraft, ensures compliance with all INL/A Operations directives, Aircrew Training Manuals (ATM), and ATP requirements. As the Program Managers representative, the SP must possess a complete understanding of the ATP. Additionally the SP must be able to objectively train, evaluate, and document the performance of crewmembers, and develop individual flight training plans in support of the organization�s mission and ATP. Job Summary
Maintenance Examiner (ME) serves as the Program Managers representative in interpreting and implementing the organizations Aircrew Training Program (ATP) with respect to maintenance, maintaining and managing flight records, Air Wing Information System (AWIS) entries, updates of aviation references and publications, and performs operational checks, routine maintenance, and maintenance test flights to ensure the airworthiness of the fleet (35%). Performs duties as a Maintenance Examiner; and conducts training and evaluations of rotary wing Maintenance Pilots (MP) and MEs at PSD (35%) and the evaluation of MPs and MEs in deployed locations to include maintenance standardization program oversight at those deployed locations (30%). Principal Accountabilities
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Single point of contact for Maintenance Test Pilot standardization, the ME assists the program Chief of Standards with the supervision and maintenance of the maintenance standardization program. The ME ensures all MPs/MEs are fully integrated into the ATP, trains and evaluates MPs/MEs in their designated aircraft, ensures compliance with all INL/A Operations directives, Aircrew Training Manuals (ATM), and ATP requirements. As the Program Managers maintenance representative, the ME must possess a complete understanding of the ATP. Additionally the ME must be able to objectively train, evaluate, and document the performance of MPs/MEs, and develop individual flight training plans in support of the organization�s mission and ATP. Engineering Technician III, Job Number 1100O93: Supports aircraft prototype efforts at the Aircraft Prototype Systems Division Patuxent River, MD. Candidate will Repair, fabricate, modify and install sheet metal parts, items, and assemblies. Candidate will fabricate complex aircraft parts and components from stock sheet metal, bar and round stock, and extrusion. Candidate will perform a wide variety of functions within the APSD Paint Shop as required, to include all phases of component preparation to properly applying industrial and aircraft finishes on aircraft components. Incumbent will estimate, schedule, and track costs of each effort. Manages multiple projects through ability to multi-task and set priorities. Will proactively procure and store materials. Sets up, maintains and operates spray booths and ovens. Adheres to all OSHA, NIOSH and other applicable regulations regarding PPE (respirators, eye protection) and Hazardous Waste to include disposal of materials. Follows all Mil Standards applicable to management and operation of military aircraft Paint Shop. Applicant must have a minimum of 4 years performing stated functions with practical experience in all functions stated above. In lieu of post-high school education/training, a total of 6 years experience in performing the stated functions. Required: Military aircraft structures and mechanical systems; physical properties and working characteristics of sheet metal; application of industrial and aircraft finishes, to include, polyurethane, epoxies and lacquers. High school diploma or GED. Successful completion of technical school, trade school, or advanced armed services technical school curriculum or course in the aircraft sheet metal trade and aircraft paint and finish Location: Patuxent River, (Patuxent MD).
Aircraft Worker, (Low Observable Coatings/Structure F-22), Job Number 11000LH: This is equivalent to Air Force AFSC 2A7X3 or2A7X5. Incumbent will ensure that established maintenance standards are accomplished in accordance with applicable technical data. They will ensure proper documentation of aircraft maintenance as required. They will train and certify the lesser qualified employees & customers. Perform and/or evaluate and inspect all work accomplished to ascertain and certify conditional status of components. Assemble structural parts and components to meet requirements, while preserving structural integrity and low observable qualities. The candidate will assess damage to aircraft structural components and low observable coatings, as well as communicate with appropriate technical sources to facilitate repair procedures as pertains to repairs of fiberglass, metal, bonded honeycomb, titanium and advanced composite components. Removes existing coatings and gap fillers using approved methods and prepares aircraft surfaces for application of approved coatings to ensure proper adhesion. Removes, replaces and/or inspects the following F/A-22 Lightning Diverter Strips, infrequently accessed panels, evaluates the exterior finishes, coatings and the radar cross-section of panels. Advises on structural and low observable repair, modification, and corrosion protection treatment with respect to original strength, weight, and contour to maintain structural and low observable integrity. Required: Must have three (3) years experience in aircraft sheet metal or corrosion control. Job Description:
K2 Solutions is currently seeking Senior Intelligence Integrators to serve on a unique, multi-discipline team assisting Special Operations Forces (SOF) or conventional forces operational and tactical staffs and their subordinate units with fusing operations and intelligence information in an effective, seamless process to enhance their effectiveness against enemy networks that employ Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).

Job Summary
DPPO-ARM shall serve as armed drivers and personal protective officers for Government personnel at designated overseas high-threat environment locations as well as to provide direct mission support as required by operational mission elements. Maintain and service all weapon systems. All Government furnished weapons systems (lethal & non-lethal) shall be maintained by the DPPO-ARM in accordance with the respective Glock, LWRC, Heckler & Koch, FN Herstal or similar manufacturers “Operating and Safety Instruction Manual.”
Principal Accountabilities

Job Summary:
Manage the Driver and Personal Protective Officer (DPPO) Security teams. Serve as the immediate authority of the team. DPPOs shall serve as armed drivers and personal protective officers for Government personnel at designated overseas high-threat environment locations as well as to provide direct mission support as required by operational mission elements.
They shall be responsible for the direct supervision of their assigned personal protective security team, ensuring all posts and detail positions are properly covered and that the detail is operating smoothly in accordance with scheduled and preset plans. The DPPO-TL carries heavy responsibilities to include directing and controlling response actions, if required, through radio communications during motorcades and all ground movements. The DPPO-TL shall be capable of performing the duties of each DPPO Team Member and shall perform the day-to-day protective security functions as specified in assignment orders. 43. Static Protective Officer (SPO) – Medic (SPO-Medic) (Global) (TS/SCI)
Job Summary:
SPO-MEDIC shall serve as access control and protection officers for Government personnel, facilities, equipment, checkpoints, or buildings at designated high-threat environment locations. The SPO-Medic shall serve as the advanced first-response/trauma medical technician to treat and provide immediate emergency care of Team and Government personnel.. The Medic shall also possess basic knowledge and care for health threats in the immediate area and ensure that the Team is medically prepared for all possible contingencies. The Medic shall maintain, inventory and distribute all medical equipment and supplies as necessary in the performance of their duties.
Principal Accountabilities:
•SPO-MEDIC shall be provided and follow all instructions outlined in Post Orders which includes patrolling designated areas, routes and perimeters via either foot or mobile patrol and shall provide inspections and surveillance of identified Government assets.
•SPO-MEDIC shall maintain daily logs and records of all duties and responsibilities.
•SPO-MEDIC shall also provide direct security support to the In Country Coordinators and Driver/Personal Protection Officers during emergency situations including operating Government vehicles.
•SPO-MEDIC shall be trained and provide physical security, armed protection, and defensive tactics capabilities in protection of Government facilities, checkpoints, buildings, and possibly Government personnel and designees.
•SPO-MEDIC shall be capable of responding to various threats to include Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Devices (VBIED), Improvised Explosive Devices (IED), direct fire from small arms and ground assaults by multiple personnel possessing various types of hand held or should mounted weapon systems (military rifles, machine guns, rocket propelled grenades, etc), indirect fire by mortars and rockets, individual suicide bombers and employment of other weapons of mass destruction in an unconventional warfare environment. SPO-MEDIC may be required to initiate rapid response to threats or attacks that may exceed normal security force responsibilities. Such threats include armed attack, breaches of perimeters or checkpoints, hostile protests, direct or indirect fire, etc. SPO-MEDIC shall assist with emergency safety, evacuation, recovery and reaction force procedures of personnel from situations of imminent threat or actual attack and the application of emergency medical care to Government personnel and designees involved in trauma situations.
Physical Requirements:
•Daily hours worked can be as few as eight (8) to as many as twenty-four (24), depending upon the site and the Government requirements. An SPO-MEDIC shall typically deploy for a 60 to 90 day rotational basis with a rest or break in service period of at least 30 days.

• Should be comfortable with concepts of application architecture/design for performance using vertical and horizontal scaling, JMS, Connection Pools and J2EE Deployments. The candidate should also have Disaster recovery design knowledge.
• Solid work experience in Java/J2EE environments to support and troubleshoot the middle-tier applications is desired.
• Proven skills with Web technologies such as XML and SOAP, and run-time JVM optimization knowledge (multi-host environment).
• Troubleshoot and debug any errors occurring in application server environment, application debugging, heap analysis and error doc gathering preferred (i.e. Thread dump, heap dump). Must be able to analyze and tune Web, App server configurations (plug-in, httpd.conf, etc...)
• Adhere to assigned project schedules with willingness to complete projects within time and budget. Coordinate activities with PM, other team members and developers
DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES
Manage performance monitoring and tuning of the environments to ensure stability, to identify and resolve performance issues and to drive best practices and maintain 24*7 operations
• Identify and implement patches and upgrades to ensure the Business Objects systems are up to date with latest bug fixes and security patches
• Size and configure various BO services to tune the environment to changes in usage patterns and application enhancements

Job Description
The Health Care Service Support – Iraq Program Manager establishes a clinically safe and professionally managed healthcare environment and provides primary health care as well as resuscitative surgical care in accordance with U.S. or equivalent medical standards on a 24-hour basis, 365 days of the year to Chief of Mission (COM) personnel U.S. Embassy Baghdad, serving a population of approximately 14,000 adults.
SCOPE:
The Operating Room/Medical Surgical Nurse (Nurse – Specialty) may be assigned to delivery health care and treat patients in one of two settings: (1) Small medical/trauma hospitals, (2) Large medical/trauma hospital. Nurses report to the CHSS-Iraq Program Manager and are clinically supervised by the site medical director and work under the direction of a Physician, Surgeon, or Anesthetist.
The following specialties are covered by this Job Description:
• Operating Room (OR) Nurses Provides professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgery. Prepares and maintains operating room for all surgical procedures. Circulates and scrubs for surgical procedures. Responds to surgical emergencies such as cardiac, pulmonary, or respiratory failure and hemorrhage.
• Medical-surgical nurses provide health promotion and basic medical care to patients with various medical and surgical diagnoses;
All Nurses and specialty nurses will monitor the patient’s vital signs and communicate the information to Physicians (GMO). Duties will include getting supplies and equipment ready for procedures, studying and interpreting pre-surgical tests to determine how the anesthetic will affect the patient, and assuring that an adequate blood supply is on hand in case of an emergency. Specialty Nurses will also perform other tasks during these medical procedures, such as inserting artificial airways, administering oxygen, and attempting to prevent surgical shock. In addition, they may be required to assist with stabilization of patient and coordination of evacuation of patient to medevac center or CONUS.
Specialty Nurses will performs variety of professional duties involved in developing and delivering nursing services. Assists in planning, implementing and evaluating health maintenance and health education programs; contributes to the design of health controls and surveillance relative to toxic or hazardous conditions in the work environment.
All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which CHS is recognized.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing;
Current unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse; membership in the Nursing Specialty professional association is desirable.
Two (2) years experience in medical/surgical nursing.
Maintain current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
Equivalent non-U.S/Canadian education, board certification, licensing, diplomas and experience may be qualifying, after CHS/DOS RMO review.
All health care providers and medical support staff must have recent clinical experience in patient care for at least 6 months out of the past year
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Practice their specialty based on demand in their work setting.
• Promotes and restores patients’ health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staffs; providing physical and psychological support for patients, friends and families; supervising assigned team members.
• Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
• Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
• Promotes patient’s independence by establishing patient care goals; teaching and counseling patient, friends, and family and reinforcing their understanding of disease, medications, and self-care skills; answering questions.
• Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following hospital and nursing division’s philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing; State Nurse Practice Act, and other governing agency regulations.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; calling for assistance from health care support personnel.
• Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
• Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Ensures operation of medical and administrative equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Maintains nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
OTHER DUTIES:
• All Health Care Providers (HCPs) will document care delivered and follow up care required.
• Attends and participates in a variety of meetings and task force groups to improve quality and outcomes,, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, new task efforts, and new policy requirements.
• Maintains the highest regard for patient dignity and observe the precepts of the American Hospital Associations Bill of Rights for patients.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Nurses will require a favorably adjudicated Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) investigation conducted by the Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security.
• Nurses will sign a CHS HCSS-I Foreign Service Agreement (FSA) and is bound to the terms and conditions of the FSA.
• The normal workweek is established by the DoS Chief of Mission.
• Non-U.S. citizen assignments under this contract in Iraq must undergo, and favorably pass, an Investigation conducted by the Iraq Embassy Regional Security Office (RSO). This background investigation will be conducted by the RSO’s FSNI (Foreign Service National Investigator).
Note: CHS will provide institutional malpractice insurance as well as individual malpractice policies for Nurses, Physicians and other primary care providers.
The following requirements apply to all Nurses and nursing specialties:
• Shall be licensed in the United States or Canada; primary care providers licensed elsewhere will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Participate in training, (including HIPAA training) that may be required by DOS or CHS prior to deployment to Iraq.
• Shall complete a two week Foreign Affairs Counter Terrorism training course prior to deployment to Iraq for work on the HCSS-Iraq contract. Training will include: Combat First Aid, Weapons Familiarization, Defensive Tactics/Driving, IED recognition, Surveillance Detection and Hostage Survival and Personnel Recovery
• Must have a valid, current U.S. Driver’s License; or Country of Origin Driver’s License or the equivalent
• Must have a current U.S. Passport; or Passport from their country of origin.
• All Nurses shall be proficient in the ability to speak, write and communicate in English.
• All Nurses shall demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic word processing programs and the CHS Medical Management System software.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be confirmed by a medical examination to be “medically and dentally fit” in accordance with DOS requirements for service in Iraq
• Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment; travel in Iraq is required by surface or air;
• The climate is desert-like, hot, and prone to dust storms.
