• The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the primary point of contact to the squadron commander/director for all administrative support programs such as task management, Government Travel Card (GTC) program, drug demand reduction program, health care program, fitness program, Government Purchase Card (GPC) program, safety program, Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) accounts, security program, supply program, civilian timecard program, etc.
• Directly assists the commander/director in the management of all administrative support program functions. Administers programs and serves as the primary source of information.
• Serves as the resident subject matter expert for all mandated administrative support programs. Ensures unit program compliance with regulations, laws, policies, and squadron commander directives.
• Serves as the organizational point of contact and liaison with the personnel flights on military and civilian personnel issues. Assists in planning, administering, and monitoring manpower resource requirements.

FSIS will pay travel and transportation expenses to the first post of duty for our newly hired veterinarians. This incentive is available to new Federal appointees and only includes the actual costs incurred as a result of the employee's travel and transportation of household goods to the first post of duty.
Our Public Health Veterinarian's are valued members of a dynamic team. Most importantly, you are in a pivotal role from day one and your work has visible impact. You will be:

• planning, organizing, coordinating and adapting the full range of meat and poultry inspection operations in slaughter and/or processing establishments;
• ensuring establishments meet requirements of the Pathogen Reduction and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) regulations;
• overseeing other consumer protection, non-food safety concerns such as proper labeling and packaging;
• serving as team leader who works with and supervises other public health professionals to ensure establishments under our jurisdiction comply with sanitation standards and properly implement systems that control hazards from entering the food supply;
• enforcing Federal meat and poultry inspection procedures prior to slaughter and throughout the entire establishment, including humane handling, ante-mortem inspection, post-mortem inspection, processing operations, veterinary dispositions, and transportation and distribution of meat, poultry, and egg products to markets and retail stores.

Medical Requirements: The duties of a PHV are performed in a hazardous working
environment. Therefore, applicants must be physically and mentally able to

When activated, qualified NAHERC applicants become temporary employees of USDA-APHIS-Veterinary Services (VS). The length of appointments vary depending upon the emergency and the availability of the applicant. Over the years, veterinary professionals enrolled in the NAHERC have assisted the United Kingdom with its foot-and-mouth disease outbreak, Virginia with its low-pathogenic avian influenza control program, and the USDA-VS with the exotic newcastle disease eradication program. Applicants must have successfully completed the Primary NWCG Core Requirement of Expanded Dispatch Recorder (EDRC). A copy of the Incident Qualification and Certification System (IQCS) Master Record (or equivalent training document) which contains documented proof of certification or attainment of this requirement must be attached to application.
Applicants must have 90 days on-the-line wildland firefighting experience gained through containment, control, suppression or use of wildland fire. This experience must be documented with specific dates in the Work Experience, Additional Information portion of the application or Resume.
MINIMUM FEDERAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifying experience for the GS-5 level includes one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-4. Specialized experience is experience which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: Experience requirements may be met by successful completion of a four (4) year course of study leading to a bachelors' degree or the equivalent. Education must include at least 24 semester/36 quarter hours in any combination of courses such as forestry, agriculture, crop or plant science, range management or conservation, wildlife management, watershed management, soil science, natural resources (except marine fisheries and oceanography), outdoor recreation management, civil or forest engineering, or wildland fire science. No more than 6 semester/9 quarter hours in mathematics is creditable.
COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Equivalent combinations of successfully completed education and experience may be used to meet the experience requirements.

Job Description


Perform all tasks associated with stowing and inventory of repair
parts and consumable stock material.
Inventory of storeroom locations bins/drawers and bulk section.
Contractor shall perform scheduled and unscheduled inventories.
Pull material from location and sort, count, verify and post the total
quantity inventoried using the provided listing.
Place material in front of the bin/drawers or k-racks and turn over
inventory cards to ship's representative for verification.
Consolidate and relocate material with multiple locations.
Identify material by using receipt documents, shipping documents,
requisition umbers, contract numbers, stock numbers, barcodes, and other
similar identification and location markings.
Complete repeated assignments, such as material storage, inventory and
occasional document preparation.
Ensure all material, supplies, and equipment is properly stowed.
Ensure that unidentified material, supplies, and equipment are researched
and processed and stored in accordance with current instructions.
Ensure work spaces are organized, cleaned and clear of debris.

Candidates must already be cleared in the JPAS System.
Perform designated material handling and storeroom inventory requirements
such as packaging, storage, inventory, relocation and consolidation and

The work will primarily be performed in storerooms onboard the ship and in a
warehouse. There are several storerooms located on board ship in a metal
frame warehouse and contractor must be able to walk up and down ladders, and
be able to lift up to fifty pounds ( 50 lbs).

Principal Accountabilities

Qualifications/Experience

Job Description: Perform full range of duties in the receipt, stow, kitting and issue of material. Ensure items being stowed or shipped meet requirements of MIL-STD 129N. Must use anti-static devices. Provide first article inspection, if required, as depot contract agreement. Comply and input HMMS data, count, sort, weigh incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoice.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Identify, examine, classify, accept, reject, and dispose of material as per DLA regulations. Examinations may be visual or require measuring devices.
• Load material on and off skids, pallets, and stands.
• Prepare labels as required.
• Fill Materiel Request Orders (MROs) on a timely basis.
• Prepare various reports relating to distribution.
• Operate tools and equipment in performance of duties.
• Receive data from, and input data to, HMMS and other automated systems.
• Operate MHE as assigned and hold appropriate license.
• Count, weigh, record data, apply tags and labels.
• Makes preventive maintenance adjustments to equipment.
• Ensure integrity of tools and equipment inventory.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:
General office and warehouse environment. Some travel both domestically and internationally required based on business demands.

Configuration Management Analyst (Colorado Springs, CO)

CAS has an immediate requirement for a Release, Control, and Validation Manager (RCVM) Lead who will manage the team and be responsible for defining and operating the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes for Change Management, Release Management and Service Asset and Configuration Management, and provide ITIL and process consulting internally to the JRDC contract and the IT Services organization. This position is responsible for providing the technical and functional guidance and management for the RCVM team of the IT Services Organization. Create/update/manage processes and ensure continuous process improvement, and provide training on specific processes and/or ITIL v3, as required. Ensure IT management and process metrics are collected, analyzed, reported and used to manage the business area. Support generation of ad hoc reports and data requests from Government and contract leadership. Support internal and external process audits. Position may interface directly with MDA CIO, and requires strong communication skills. Provides mentoring to other process owners regarding ITIL framework. Manages budget for RCVM team as a Control Account Manager (CAM). Primary process owner for Configuration Management Database processes, content and tools, and ensures that Asset information is updated, validated, and maintained. The Lead will aid in the requirement definition for the automation of the business functions underlying CM and will be responsible for reporting on the Services and success of the CM program.
Prior Configuration Management (CM) experience in a large, dispersed organization; direct line Management experience; ITIL v3 Intermediate certification. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A Master's degree and 10 years of related experience required; however, a Bachelor's degree and 15 years may be considered.

Systems Design Engineer (Colorado Springs, CO and Huntsville, AL)

The Virtualization Center of Excellence (VCE) Change/Implementation/Sustainment Engineer will perform enterprise wide sustainment activities (such as design reviews, impact assessments, etc.) associated with changes/updates as well as project implementation activities that impact the virtual environments (VE). Project reviews will include evaluating change packages and validating impact to Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of the VEs. The VCE Change/Implementation/Sustainment Engineer will oversee VE baseline configuration with respect to product upgrades and standardization of release methodology. Must have VCP (VMware Certified Professional) or (VCAP or VCDX). Must have experience with various virtualization technologies such as HP Virtual Connect and HP Flex. Must have proven ability to utilize standard Microsoft tools (Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to produce documentation and briefings for a variety of audiences with technical knowledge ranging from novice/user-level to advanced/engineering-level. Applies extensive technical expertise. Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
