Board Certified (Preferred)
• American Board of Family Medicine
• American Board of Internal Medicine
• American Board of Emergency Medicine
Current ACLS Certification
Registered with State of Florida - AHCA - for the Level 2 Background check (this is easily completed - requires fingerprinting with an AHCA approved vendor )
Recommended - 3 years of clinical experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine. Preferred- Experience in Urgent Care Setting.
Experience with adults and pediatrics (our center currently sees patients above 2 years of age)
Confidence in reading x-rays.
The physician will need to reviewed and approved by the malpractice carrier.

We will ask that the physician use the CAQH database. This database facilitates credentialing with various insurance companies. It is not a requirement for hiring, however, we will ask the physician to begin using the database if he/she is not already participating.

Working in a center such as Solantic / Doctor Express the following are considerations as we look for the ideal candidate:
• Although it is a medical practice - for all practical purposes it is a retail business. The provision of quality medicine is a “given” from the standpoint of a patient who visits our center. They trust that we have hired physicians who practice quality medicine. The differentiator is in customer service. The physician sets the tone with the patient - including respect for their time, keeping short wait times, communicating to the patient and family, concentrating on the issue at hand and helping the patient to get on with their busy lives feeling special and cared for is Genuine caring about patients who come through the door is an expectation.
• Creating a culture of respect. We have a small staff - all who have been carefully handpicked and we all work closely together. We expect the physician to be respectful and encouraging to all staff.
• The physician on-duty oversees the clinical operations of the center that day and we anticipate that decisions are made with the patient and the business in mind.
• As it is a franchise, we expect policy and protocol of the franchise to be followed. In some cases, our physician(s) establish local clinical protocols to help guide other physicians and staff. From time to time , new services may be introduced and we would expect the physician to assist with implementation.
• Expect collaboration and mutual problem solving with the owners and staff for the benefit of the patients, customers and business.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the physician community to establish mutual relationships.

Ability to work collaboratively and actively with marketing efforts. Taking the initiative and opportunities to build relationships and problem solve with new and established accounts so that we actively seek to meet their needs and build their trust. Willingness to position the center positively in the community including media engagements and other possibilities.

Please have all interested candidates forward their CV / resume to us.

THANK you so much.

Sincerely,

David
