The incumbent is responsible for mission assignment close outs and other mission assignment and operations as assigned. The mission assignment program and duties significantly impact the effective delivery of emergency response and recovery assistance authorized under the Robert T. Stafford Act to assist State and local governments and private citizens to respond to and recover form major emergencies and disasters.
• Collects MA activities that have already been undertaken by the NRCC prior to RRCC activation and obtain the necessary documentation from them.
• Establish and maintain a close coordination and working relationship with the Action Tracker, financial Management Specialist/Comptroller, Logistics specialists and work together as a team to accomplish all MA processing closeout functions.

DUTIES:

If you are selected for this position, you will serve as a Transportation Security Inspector (Explosives Detection Canine Handler/ EDCH) working under the direction of the Federal Security Director (FSD) or his/her designee with primary responsibility for conducting security sweeps for the detection or deterrence of explosive threats in various transportation systems. As a TSI (EDCH), along with your canine, you will be responsible for determining compliance of transportation systems with applicable regulations. You will assist in the administration and evaluation of critical and complex compliance and enforcement programs designed to ensure secure transportation modes and protect the nation's public from terrorism, piracy, or other acts of sabotage to those systems, facilities, and networks associated with them. Your duties will include:

With the canine, conducting random patrols and routine sweeps at various areas within the transportation environment along with the inspection of vehicles, packages, personnel, aircraft, trains, ferries and other as directed.

Responding to threats that affect transportation operations or public safety as necessary.

Screening cargo to ensure explosives are not concealed for transport and conducting inspections of regulated entities to ensure compliance with applicable security regulations.

Gathering information to write reports which detail the results and activities performed, following up on findings and initiating Enforcement Investigative Reports as required.

Identifying and responding to security regulation violations or potential violations. Responding to transportation security incidents and other pertinent incidents as defined by the National Incident Management Systems or as directed by the Federal Security Director.

Performing tests and audits; validating and inspecting security processes, procedures, systems, and equipment in connection with compliance inspections and vulnerability assessments.

Providing input to written analyses of inspections and assessments and determining the adequacy of corrective measures required to improve security posture or to restore compliance.

Conducting investigations related to alleged or suspected transportation security violations. Identifying, collecting, and preserving evidence used to support enforcement actions. Assisting in determining when enforcement action should be initiated and preparing enforcement investigation reports. Entering data pertinent to investigations, inspections, and incidents into the national database Performance and Results Information Systems (PARIS).

Conducting and participating in regular training with assigned working dog to maintain acceptable performance levels and providing necessary health maintenance care, feeding/watering, and grooming of working dogs. You will be responsible for ensuring that assigned canine is correctly certified and accredited and for maintaining appropriate training records, as required.

Serving as a technical expert and key point of contact on transportation security regulations for assigned industry operations and demonstrating substantial knowledge and understanding of a secondary specialty (cargo, aviation, or surface) sufficient to provide specialized support as necessary.



Note: As a TSI (EDCH), you may work with explosives in the training and support of teams. Additionally, you may perform inventory of hazardous materials. In all cases when you are in close proximity to live or otherwise dangerous explosives, you must exercise caution and follow prescribed techniques to ensure utmost safety and protection while handling of such explosives.



QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

To qualify for the SV-I Pay Band (equivalent to GS-13), you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to SV-H Pay Band or GS-11/12 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Such experience includes a substantive background in Federal, state, or local law enforcement which included work as an EDCH in law enforcement and homeland security efforts at local, state, or Federal levels. Establishes and/or revises existing company policies and procedures necessary for successful implementation of the Quality Improvement (QI) Program.
Pursues methods to ensure receipt of relevant data, as required for accurate trending of various QI work plan metrics.
Analyzes key plan metrics, such as top diagnoses, clinical procedures, and operational performance, to enable the development of sound and valid recommendations regarding and prioritization of clinical and service improvement initiatives.
Works with QI Director to convene various QI committees and work groups, set agenda to drive desired meeting outcomes (based on contract and accreditation requirements), and ensure proper recording of committee activities.
Acts as knowledge expert for continuous quality improvement activities, educating staff of other functional areas regarding the QI process and accreditation requirements.
Performs various quality department functions and processes, such as quality of care complaint/adverse event review and assessment of medical record review results and recommend actions to address any identified improvement opportunities.
Manages and monitors clinical quality studies to include receipt and analysis of trended data, assessment of national benchmarks as available, development of improvement recommendations (to include ROI and best practice interventions as appropriate), presentation to senior leadership, implementation of plan, and evaluation for desired result.
Recommends strategies to improve member compliance to QI program activities, addressing methods to change knowledge, attitudes and behaviors, such as handbook content, newsletter articles, member outreach interventions, and member focus groups.
Recommends methods to improve network provider compliance to health plan QI Program policies and procedures, including profiles/scorecards and efforts to increase provider compliance to practice guidelines, such as through medical record review.
Fields annual member and provider satisfaction surveys, working with vendor to clarify results and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
Assists with efforts to secure successful NCQA accreditation.
Performs activities to comply with annual HEDIS data collection and analysis, preparing recommendations to increase rates as appropriate.
Participates in site visit preparation and execution by various regulatory and accreditation agencies (DCH, DHR, CMS, EQRO).
Monitors and tracks all state and federal quality improvement and reporting requirements.
Supports efforts to submit monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual regulatory required performance reports.
Assists in developing short range plans for overall area activities.
Develops and oversees the implementation of programs and strategies.
Acts in liaison capacity with other areas and business units.
Makes recommendations on matters of policy in area of expertise.

Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's Degree in nursing

Experience:

5+ years of experience in a health care delivery organization, such as a managed care organization or a hospital environment
3-5 years of healthcare Quality Improvement experience, performing a wide range of functions with strong focus on data analysis and initiation of improvement initiatives that resulted in desired outcome
3+ years of process improvement and project management experience
Knowledge of Medicaid and/or Medicare programs

Special Skills (e.g. 2nd language):

Knowledgeable of current trends in quality improvement in managed health care

MEASUREMENTS AND SIGNATURES INTELLIGENCE (MASINT) REQUIREMENTS COLLECTION MANAGER
Works in the ISAF/USFOR-A and other commands’ CJ2 ISR Division. The MASINT Requirements Collection Manager shall assist MASINT collection requirements and ensures all MASINT products are properly disseminated within the ATO. The contractor shall monitor various systems for newly nominated requirements, validates, and tasks them to the appropriate MASINT Sensor. The contractor shall develop training material as required to support ISR analysts and staff members on all aspects of MASINT ISR mission.

Provides patient assessments through patient exams, medical history, interpretation of diagnostic procedures, and development and implementation of patient treatment plans. Provides consultation and education as a highly specialized practitioner within scope of practice.
Essential Functions
Functions independently as an advance practice registered nurse practitioner and consults with or refers patients to other health care providers or agencies as appropriate. Facilitates collaborative practice and interdisciplinary planning with patient-care team. Uses both advance nursing and medical knowledge in providing direct patient care.
Provides comprehensive nursing care by promotion of health, prevention of illness and injury, and alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response. Oversees and/or participates in direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, and outcome evaluation. Performs a comprehensive history and physical with emphasis to the practice specialty. Prescribes, procures, administers, dispenses over the counter, legend, and controlled substances. Performs procedures within scope of practice.

NP or PA opportunity to join Occupational Medicine/Family Practice Clinics. This Position will cover Occupational Medicine and some of the same day care needs in the Family Practice Clinic. May also do Emergency Room shifts if desired. Schedule will need to be flexible and may include the following: Family Practice/ Occupational Medicine 2 – 3 days per week along with 2 days covering the outreach occupational medicine clinic. The hours are 8AM to 530PM.
