This position will have general responsibility for the training, coaching and development of security officers as needed, and will be making regular site visits to ensure consistency in quality performance. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensures the delivery of high quality customer service through regular contact with officers; evaluates officer performance and initiates corrective action if necessary. Analyzes performance indicators to continuously improve officer performance; ensures company policies are understood and followed. Meets regularly with management representatives for status updates and addresses any actual or potential problems; supports client start-ups and monitors newly placed officers. Trains, and develops security officers in collaboration with Area management training requirements; ensures all employees are compliant in state mandated training, coaches’ employees to enhance skills; carries out disciplinary actions as necessary. Assist field record keeping objectives by scrutinizing DAR’s, reports, timesheets, and other shift related paperwork at the jobsite, as needed. Maintains a positive, professional appearance in full compliance with company regulations, policies and procedures; acts to ensure that officers understand and comply with company regulations, policies and procedures. Conducts site inspections to promote a safe and productive work environment, being responsible for all job sites that require mobile patrols. Works with assigned Site Managers and Account Managers to ensure client expectations are consistently met, if not exceeded. Position is required to work off hours, weekends, holidays, and other open shifts on an emergency basis at different sites. QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must possess the following skills, competencies and experience: Candidates must have a minimum of three years in the security industry (police or military equivalent considered) with at least two years in a supervisory position, post commander, shift lead and/or equivalent combination of both. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Demonstrate the ability to complete projects and fulfill commitments, meet deadlines and exhibit a high level of time management and organizational skills. Proven track record of making sound decisions. Effective communicator (orally and written). Ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures. Ability to be an effective leader and team member. Ability to take initiative and achieve results. Familiarity with employee scheduling. Flexibility to work beyond typical business hours, holidays and weekends.
