Position Summary
1. 5. Mission Systems Equipment Field Service Engineer (OCONUS) (n/a)
Mission Systems Equipment Field Service Engineer
Background:
Atlantean is currently accepting applications for a Mission Systems Equipment (MSE) Field Service Engineer (FSE) for OCONUS work. The MSE FSE will provide customer support including incident reporting, fault reporting, operator-level maintenance, repair assessments, and vendor technical reach-back for support, spares, or repairs. The MSE FSE will hold primary responsibility for maintaining intelligence computers and networks used by military intelligence soldiers.
Responsibilities and Deliverables:
Test and repair communications equipment
Assess data from fixed, portable and wireless storage/communication devices
Perform operational checks on military intelligence aerial systems
Development Phase
o Support mission aircraft setup and installation and facilities setup at Client location
o Perform operator-level maintenance, tests, and operational support on EOP, computers, IT, avionics, radios, and datalink systems, both airborne and ground based
o Attend datalink, EOP, mission systems and mission software training courses with OEMS
Operational Phase
o Perform O Level maintenance, test and operational support on EOP, computers, IT, avionics, radios, and datalink systems, both airborne and ground based
o Perform maintenance and setup of VMWare systems, computers and networking equipment
o Provide instruction and supervision to customer’s technicians
o Provide and coordinate repair schemes with the OEMs and customers
o Write and deliver a weekly technical service level report on system availability, incidents, and faults
o Assist in the procurement and delivery of spares/repairs to the customer within agreed timeframes
o Develop risk management strategies and manage policies
o Ensure value-added reporting and KPI’s to enable performance tracking and improvement
Qualifications:
MOS of 35T (previously 33W), AFSC of 1A3X1, or other service equivalent preferred
Desired 7-10+ years’ experience
Must have a cultural sensitivity to working in Middle East; Arabic language skills are desirable
Strong knowledge of working with military aviation organizations and customers
Ability to negotiate skillfully in challenging situations with both internal and external stakeholders
Experience presenting and producing customer technical reports
Knowledge of systems vendors and international repair and equipment procurement channels
Understanding of technical drawings, technical manuals, maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogues, wiring diagrams, and operational publications
Extensive experience with VMWare, Mission Computer system and network setup, fault isolation, and maintenance
CCNA, Network+, A+ and/or intermediate IP-based and other communications networking experience preferred

Essential Job Duties:
•Responsible for daily operational management of the program in theater

Monitors the status of obligated orders to ensure timely completion of periods of performance and proper receipt of billing documents. Reviews, analyzes, and processes payment invoices. Monitors all reimbursable accounts, estimates and prorates overhead charges, and prepares a monthly status report. Assures that funds collected are properly recorded in the financial system. Prepares reports of various types of restricted funds received and expended by the field stations served. Travels to field stations and organized meetings to support operations.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This work is mostly sedentary in nature in an office environment. Some walking, stooping, and bending are required. Incumbent may be required to carry light items up to ten pounds from one office to another. Work is performed in a normal office setting with occasional travel to field stations and other cities. This is a permanent, full-time position with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 6, National Wildlife Refuge System, National Elk Refuge, Jackson, Wyoming.
This position is a commissioned Federal law enforcement officer. The primary purpose of the position is to perform law enforcement duties that are integral to protection of natural, cultural and human resources through the investigation, apprehension and detention of individuals suspected or convicted of offenses against the criminal laws of the United States.
This position is a primary law enforcement position under the special retirement provisions of 5 U.S.C. 8336(c) (CSRS) and 8412 (d) (FERS). Due to the special retirement coverage afforded this position, applicants must not have reached their 37th birthday upon appointment to this position. An exception is allowed if there is prior Federal Civilian Service in a covered law enforcement or firefighter position(s) and that prior service is sufficient to permit retirement on, or before, the mandatory retirement age of 57. Proof of prior covered service must be submitted by the closing date of this announcement.

Serves as a commissioned law enforcement officer performing law enforcement duties to include investigating, apprehending, detaining, arresting and/or issuing citations and prosecuting violators of a variety of law enforcement acts, laws, rules and regulations that have been enacted to ensure the protection and safe use of national wildlife refuge resources. Investigates the occurrence of criminal activity, arson theft, breaking and entering, vandalism, pollution of the air and water, destruction of property or offenses of the criminal laws and regulations of the United States that relate to Service lands and responsibilities. Investigates violations of Federal and State fish and wildlife laws including poaching, illegal hunting of waterfowl, illegal use of aircraft for hunting and other illegal commercial activities. Develops information through fact finding by collecting evidence, interviewing witnesses or suspects, pursuing leads, searching records, conducting surveillance, observing suspicious action and compiling information from informants, concerned citizens, and local, Federal, and State officials. Participates in ground and air surveillance that may involve flying as a passenger in aircraft, to identify suspects and illegal activity. Prepares investigation or case reports by documenting finds of facts, obtains witness statements and copies of official records to include pertinent evidence, correspondence, maps, historical information, exhibits and photographs. Issues citations and files criminal complaints. Apprehends violators of Federal and/or State criminal laws and takes offenders and suspects into custody. Seizes evidence, preserves and protects it, and properly disposes of it upon completion of case. Meets with prosecuting attorneys, presents testimony and delivers evidence. Meets with refuge users, such as recreationists, farmers, and permittees to provide information as to the Service's mission and policies and the laws and regulations applicable to its lands and other natural resources. Maintains liaison, exchanges information and coordinates ongoing law enforcement activities with other Federal, State, local law enforcement agencies, and other Service refuge law enforcement staff. Instruct class sessions of Regional in-service law enforcement training involving situational and classroom settings, including developing class materials, covering such topics as patrol techniques, case preparation, regulation/statute review and firearms training.
Training: Selectees must successfully complete all requirements and graduate from both the Natural Resources Police Training and the Federal Wildlife Officer Basic School. The Natural Resources Police training consists of between 16-19 weeks of formal training. The 3 week Federal Wildlife Officer immediately follows. Upon successful completion of the formal training, the employee will be required to complete the Field Training and Evaluation Program (10 weeks). This training is generally completed at an alternate location other than the assigned duty station. Failure to successfully complete these training requirements will be grounds for termination.

The special retirement provision for Law Enforcement Officers and Firefighter (LEO/FF) is found in section 8336(c) of title 5, United States Code. It is sometimes referred to as 6(c) retirement. Job Description:
• Provides systems engineering, systems integration and technical support to Theater Geospatial Database (TGD) for the development, implementation, operations and maintenance of intelligence unique functional applications, databases, and web sites on the Collateral SECRET (LWN-S), and TOP SECRET/SCI networks
• Administers the TGD database, server software environment, geospatial data structure and database system improvements
• Performs Microsoft SQL Server database administration duties on a Microsoft Windows-based geospatial production system utilizing ESRI Geographic Information System (GIS) application software (i.e., ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcServer, PLTS, etc.)
• Analyzes and defines database system requirements and specifications pertinent to the TGD database structure and any additional organizational requirements
• Designs methods to facilitate the implementation of changes to the TGD database system based on operational requirements
• Plans and implements the application of databases, content of feature classes, and attribution of data and database structures
• Evaluates data obtained for the TGD for quality and attribution and subsequently translates the new data to the TGD database schema for inclusion in the SDE
• Analyzes and plans for changes in data requirements and interfaces between or among different but interdependent data systems
• Develops local standards, policies and procedures concerning the use of and maintenance of elements of the TGD databases
• Troubleshoots problems involved in the input, retrieval or modification of database information and the general operation and maintenance pertinent to any of the TGD data system elements or sub-elements
• Ensures the application of information security/information assurance policies, principles and practices in accomplishing the data management functions
• Attends technical conferences
• Prepares and presents technical briefings as subject matter expert
Requirements:

34. The Facilities Support Group Mechanical Maintenance Technician supports the Missile Defense Integration Operations Center (MDIOC) on the JRDC program at Schriever AFB, CO.
Complete Description:
The maintenance includes but is not limited to: air handler, exhaust fan and water pump component repair and/or replacement, troubleshooting system control problems, performing preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance procedure as directed in work orders and manufacture recommended maintenance and repair.
Performing watch-standard duties such as conducting routine rounds to all mechanical and electrical rooms, operating Siemens Insight HVAC control and monitoring systems and responding to all performance related anomalies. The Mechanical Maintenance Technician utilizes the computerized maintenance management system (Maximo) for all time accounting and metrics reporting purposes.
This position will have a day-shift schedule and will be part of the 'A' or 'B' shift crew. The 'A' shift works 8 hour shifts from 0600 to 1430 and the 'B' shift works 8 hour shift from 0930 to 1800 and is scheduled Monday through Friday.
Every four weeks a 12 hour weekend shift from 0600 to 1800 is worked Saturday and Sunday with a reduction of weekday hours.
Minimum Requirements
Journeyman HVAC/refrigeration Colorado State License, previous mechanical maintenance experience, working knowledge and experience with air handlers and hydronic water pumps, working knowledge and experience with steam heating, steam to steam generators and condensate pumping stations.
Must have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
Candidate must have an Associate’s degree and 2 years of related experience.
Preferred Requirements
Experience with sanitary sewer drain cleaning and condensate drain piping repair.
Experience with Kitchen equipment maintenance, repair and installation in a cafeteria setting.
Possess a Refrigerant handling certification level II as a minimum, universal is desired.
Experience with Siemens Apogee building HVAC controllers and Siemens Insight HVAC control software.
Working knowledge and experience with Government operated data centers and or commercial data centers.

I wanted to advertise a private sector position which recently became
available in Los Angeles. I'm leaving my position as Director of Security
with a Synagogue/Private School in Hollywood. The focus of the position is
force protection and emergency preparedness/management, and is a great
opportunity for CI/HUMINT personnel to gain private sector experience. The
position is relatively independent, and reports immediately to the Executive
Director. Availability is immediate. Strong leadership and initiative is a
MUST. Some of the position duties are as follows:
1. Responsible for security and safety of facility and all personnel 2.
Create and implement standard operating procedures for safety and security
of facility. This includes daily access, religious events, and high profile
events 3. Supervise contracted Security Officers; duties include planning,
organizing and managing personnel 4. Create, implement, and maintain
emergency preparedness procedures and action plan for facility 5. Maintain
emergency preparedness supplies and equipment. Provide necessary training on
all items to staff members 6. Maintain contact with local law enforcement,
Senior Lead Officers and all applicable emergency responders 7. Assist and
direct the screening of visitors, vendors and guests 8. Maintain visitor
logs and security incident reports, and suspicious activity reports 9.
Possess a comprehensive knowledge of all emergency response protocols for
facility 10. Establish and maintain a strong relationship with staff members
and congregants 11. Organize and control emergency response as needed 12.
Make major safety and security decisions as needed 13. Organize and plan
consistent and progressive training for the security personnel 14. Create
schedule for security personnel 15. Maintain the type of leadership skills
and abilities that should be emulated by subordinates 16. Show consistent,
sound judgment and initiative 17. Set exemplary professional appearance to
provide benchmark for security personnel 18. Some weekends and holidays
required
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Valid CA Guard Card
2. CI/HUMINT background (0211/0210/0204/35M/35L) 3. Firearm Permit 4. Must
possess a clean criminal history 5. Clear understanding and ability to
enforce and teach CA Law and BSIS regulation 6. Excellent communication
skills 7. Strong attention to detail 8. Trustworthy, personable and
extremely responsible
PHYSICAL TASKS:
Must be able to occasionally lift/carry between 50 and 100lbs Must be able
to occasionally push/pull between 50 and 100lbs Must be agile and able to

have an opportunity for a Site Environmental Health and Safety Engineer in
Taiwan.
Job Description:
The Site Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Engineer for this
international site is responsible for developing and conducting the site EHS
program to identify, evaluate and control occupational safety and health,
environmental and asset protection hazards. The site EHS Engineer Specific
duties and responsibilities include related to this position include:
. Developing site EHS goals and management systems that support site goals
and activities as well as site management, team members and subcontractors .
Developing management plans and strategies to promote working site
compliance with program, customer, local and Raytheon EHS regulations and/or
contract requirements, as required . Conducting site-wide periodic workplace
hazard assessments, audits and inspections to ensure EHS compliance, risk
identification and reduction and behavioral objectives are being achieved .
Evaluating changes to site equipment and work practices for EHS and asset
protection impacts and identifying risk reduction measures . Providing an
interface with Raytheon management, system safety and EHS professionals on
the conduct of the site EHS program . Developing and presenting personnel
training programs relating to hazard awareness and control, workplace health
and safety and environmental management practices and applicable regulatory
requirements . Managing responses to EHS workplace incidents and
occupational health and safety concerns, including leading incident
investigations, conducting job hazard analyses, and the supporting the
development and implementation of corrective actions . Developing and
maintaining all required records related to the site EHS program
This position will be overseas in Taiwan
Basic Qualifications/Required Skills:
BS/BA in Engineering, or a field related to EHS. Relevant work experience in
EHS may be considered in lieu of engineering degree, however a Bachelors
degree will be required in another field.
Minimum 6 years experience
Experience with occupational health, safety and/or environmental protection
requirements and EHS risk assessment and risk management practices and/ or
related education and training Computer-proficient including the use of
Microsoft Office suite of applications for creating and modifying documents,
accessing and using the internet, and using Lotus Notes for email
Existing secret clearance
Desired Qualifications/Skills:
Physical ability to bend, climb ladders, use personal protective equipment
and lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.)
Highly energetic, self motivated, proactive, enthusiastic professional with
a "can do" work ethic
Ability to handle potentially stressful situations
Experience living and working overseas and adapting to different cultures
and environments.
Managerial experience with EHS programs, preferably in a deployed setting
Experience implementing Site EHS/ Safety programs and working with
subcontractors
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, in a demanding
work environment
Well organized, with excellent attention to detail and thoroughness
accomplishing assigned and required tasks from inception through completion
in a multi-tasking, team-oriented environment
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English
with a wide variety of personnel, including management and site personnel
