ESSENTIAL DUTIES - Provide advanced technical support in the design, architecture, engineering, integration, and implementation of Windows and/or Mac platforms and services in unclassified or classified computing environments. - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system, process, service, network-related, or other technical issues for Windows and/or Mac systems within distributed heterogeneous multi-platform environments. - Perform or oversee installations, configurations, vulnerability remediation, patching and hardware and/orsoftware upgrades. - Manage Windows and/or Mac software distribution and automated patching tools. - Perform periodic reviews of environment and execute initiatives to reduce failures/defects, improve overall performance, and optimize/increase capacity utilization and availability. - Develop and manage virtual infrastructures. - Provide advanced technical assistance to the user community. - Provide Windows/Macintosh hardware and software procurement recommendations. - Maintain appropriate technology, computer security, and safety training. - Perform all assignment in accordance with ES&H, security, and business practice requirements and policies.
