This individual will perform multi-physics finite element analysis (FEA) in support of multiple inertial sensor programs as well as project engineering leadership for low to medium complexity projects, both in support of SGNCOE accelerometer development goals. * Design and structural analysis of capacitive and resonating beam accelerometers including traditional macro assemblies and MEMS based designs
* Analyze packaging methods and isolation concepts to optimize accelerometer performance (including structural-thermal analysis, large deflection with non-linear material properties)
* Perform numerical DOEs (design of experiments) to optimize design space; Perform variation / sensitivity analysis to evaluate the robustness of the designs to process variation
* Design controlled experiments to characterize realized prototypes against design intention; analyze results and present to stakeholders
* Create, and manage the release of new and updated drawings
* Coordinate the manufacturing and testing of engineering hardware through design verification testing and initial product builds
* Collect, analyze, and feedback production test data into design improvements
* Generation of SOW (statement of work), BOEs (basis of estimate), and program plans
* Active monitoring of program schedule, budget, and resources to achieve on-time goal completion

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
• 6 years avionics design, product development and application as well system integration and certification experience. This includes avionics bench, aircraft ground testing and flight testing.
• Due to ITAR restrictions must be a US Citizen or a lawful Permanent Resident.

The Senior Intelligence Integrator will focus problem sets at the tactical through operational levels while applying a thorough understanding of ISR integration as well as the ops/intelligence fusion process to compile, collate, analyze and evaluate all sources of intelligence (to include unevaluated intelligence) associated with IEDs and their employment by terrorist, insurgent, or criminal networks.
The Senior Intelligence Integrator will work closely with other members of a multi-discipline team to identify capabilities and vulnerabilities of targeted enemy organizations and decipher and identify trends, patterns and key nodes highlighting their relationships to the targeted enemy networks. The Senior Intelligence Integrator must possess a thorough understanding of the intelligence process to compile, collate, analyze, produce, and evaluate all-source intelligence and provide subject matter expertise. Must be able to provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and is able to provide daily feedback to team lead on product development. The Senior Intelligence Integrator must also possess the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
The Senior Intelligence Integrator must have a strong operational background and experience in shaping intelligence products that support tactical or strategic goals set forth by the supported unit commander in order to create actionable target support packages. The Senior Intelligence Integrator should also possess an understanding of IEDs as well as the local, regional, and global networks that facilitate its construction, design, and usage.
Successful applicants will have documented experience working with multidiscipline operations/intelligence teams and familiarity with other elements of the DoD, the interagency and coalition partners.
The Senior Intelligence Integrator must have the ability to participate in and lead meetings, conferences, and engagements to exchange information, assist in making decisions, and/or provide updates. The Senior Intelligence Integrator must have the ability to identify and analyze problems and generate recommended solutions based upon experience working with elements of the DoD, interagency and international elements.

In this position, you will install and maintain all Geographic Information System (GIS) hardware, software and databases for the Regional office. Typical work assignments include:
• Provides in house technical expertise for the resolution of GIS software and hardware related technical problems. Provides knowledge and capabilities for a variety of GIS and server related software including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Flex API, SQL Server 2008, Oracle, Microsoft IIS Web Server, CA ArcServe Backup, Adobe Flash Builders.

This position is ideal for a program analyst/emergency response planner looking for an opportunity to analyze, evaluate and implement the requirements and objectives for improving Federal departmental and agency emergency/disaster response preparedness and planning. This position starts at a salary of $62,467 per annum for GS-11, $74,872 per annum at the GS-12 level. In this position, the incumbent serves as a planner and will support the mission of the Planning Division through the National Planning Branch. The Planning Division’s mission is to plan for the coordinated Federal disaster response to communities throughout the Nation impacted by an incident, regardless of cause.
Specific Duties:
• Supports the development of deliberate and crisis action plans in support of FEMA's mission. Supports the establishing, developing, coordinating, and publishing of policy and guidance to Federal departments and agencies regarding the national system for planning. Collects, assesses and analyzes information on the impact of imminent and actual disasters, and determines the most appropriate information to provide to agency executives, Federal, State, and local response team and other Federal agencies.
• Identifies complex issues or problems in programs of small scope. Recommends and coordinates resolutions and improvements. Conducts research or coordinates with other program offices to obtain information. Participates in the revision of documents, concepts, manuals, and training courses related to planning programs.
• Assists in the situational awareness activities within the team. Utilizes the Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN) and the Common Operating Picture (COP) network systems to facilitate and enhance information sharing and situational awareness among multiple agencies, and State and local governments. Assists in the analysis of information to enhance the decision making of senior officials and to mitigate the risk factors associated with specific disasters and incidents.
• Participates in the review and development of long-range plans for new or complex programs based on directions from senior analysts. Works with top management to develop long-range management plans for the efficient and effective operations of the organization. Coordinates work with others and interprets policy.
• Keeps abreast of legislative, budgetary, and Federal, State, and local developments and actions with could affect policy, programs, missions, and activities. Reviews relevant documents and other materials. Participates in the study and analysis of response operations for inclusion in future plans, policies, and regulations.
• Participates with other Agency specialists at conference and meetings. Participates in task forces and working groups with members from Regional Offices, program offices and other Federal departments and agencies related to direction for headquarters and field organization, mission and functions. Coordinates program aspects with assigned Regional Response Coordination Centers to ensure consistence and uniformity.

To qualify for this position at the GS-11/12 levels you must possess one of the following:
GS-343-11: Applicants must have one full year of specialized experience at the level of complexity and difficulty equivalent to GS-9 in the Federal Service in analyzing and evaluating emergency/disaster response programs and plans.
OR Qualifying Education
GS-343-11: Ph.D. degree or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a major field related to the position. Education at the graduate level must be in an accredited college or university and must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the duties of the position.
OR Qualifying Combination of Education and Experience
GS-343-11: Combination of successfully completed graduate education and experience described above may be used to meet total qualification requirements. In order to qualify based on a combination, graduate education must be in excess of 2 full years.
GS—343-12: Applicants must have one full year of specialized experience at the level of complexity and difficulty equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal Service in analyzing and planning emergency/disaster response programs and plan, and recommending changes to plans, policies, and guidance in order to ensure effective emergency response operations for potential/actual incidents.
