3. Johnson & Johnson, Ernst & Young, and Citigroup are partnering with the GI
Go Fund and hosting the year's 2nd Military Veterans Career Transition and Skills Development Workshop.
It's being held on Saturday May 11, 2013 at 5 Times Square in New York City
from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM at Ernst & Young New York Headquarters and lunch will
be provided.
The day will includes company reps working with veterans to help them
translate their military experiences into a civilian career. More
specifically, the day will include resume writing and review workshops,
interview skills and coaching sessions, as well as a chance for attendees to
listen to successfully transitioned veterans share their success stories and
advice.
This is a great opportunity for veterans to connect with HR reps, company
associates, and high level executives from Johnson & Johnson, Ernst & Young,
and Citigroup. Veterans groups within those companies who want a chance to
connect with veterans interested in working for them will be in attendance
and will potentially be recruiting veterans from this event for a broad
range of positions.
As you know, Johnson & Johnson has a large and growing veteran workforce
starting from the very top and spreading throughout their entire company.
Johnson & Johnson's CEO, Alex Gorsky, an Army veteran, along with others in
the company, have made it a priority to hire qualified returning veterans.
Ernst & Young and Citigroup are also proud military and veterans supporters
with E&Y recently joining the 100,000 Jobs Mission in addition to creating
other initiatives to support veterans. Their goal is to hire more veterans
and increase efforts to help veterans transition out of the military and
into the civilian workforce.

Primary Purpose: The primary purpose of this position is to solicit, evaluate, negotiating, and advising on contracts for the procurement of supplies and services for the Agency.
Typical Duties for this Position:
• Performs contract pre-award work to secure contracts for the acquisition of goods and services and ensures that procurements are obtained from responsible sources at fair and reasonable prices.
• Responsible for the development of contract terms, conditions, or financial arrangements, which may serve as models for future acquisitions.
• Pre-award duties include the examination and evaluation of a contractor's cost estimates or price proposals to determine the necessity and reasonableness of proposed contract costs; determine the responsiveness of bids; and examine the responsibility of the low bidder based on and analysis of financial and technical information gained during the pre-award survey.

You qualify for this position if you possess one of the following:
For GS-11: Experience equivalent to the GS-9 level, that involves: the application of contracting principles, laws, regulations and procedures in planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining all aspects of the administration of contracts for acquisition of items and services, some of which may have special or unique requirements; applying knowledge of a procurement functional area sufficient to provide expert technical leadership, staff coordination, and consultation; formulating guidelines, implementing new developments, and providing policy interpretation; performing in-depth evaluations of the financial and technical capabilities, or the performance, of the contractor.
For GS-9: Experience equivalent to the GS-7 level that has involved the application of contracting principles, laws, regulations and procedures to carry out recurring assignments involving planning, developing, implementing, and/or maintaining administration of contracts for procurement of a variety of supplies or services; reviewing requisitions and recommending use of formal advertising or negotiation; assisting in developing specifications and awarding contracts; monitoring financial and technical capabilities, or the performance, of the contractor.
Qualifying with Education Only

•Be familiar with all associated cryptographic techniques and procedures, including Joint Automated Communications Electronics Operating Instruction (CEOI) System (JACS).
•Provide Systems Planning Engineering and Evaluation Device (SPEED) support.
•Evaluate the implications of proposed communication plans, policies, and enhancements and recommending COAs to ensure optimum resource utilization and effective mission accomplishment.
•Recommend draft operating policies and objective for effective communication of AWG missions and functions.

Position Summary:
Plans, manages and coordinates PSIT’s Infrastructure staff; is responsible for PSIT’s Synchronous Optical NETwork (SONET) and Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) network operations, equipment, and advances; server support and data center operations; operations and support for data, voice, and video security communication systems. Responsible for the maintenance and installation of all Public Safety security/surveillance cameras. Oversees the day-to-day maintenance and support of Public Safety’s fiber optic and copper cable plants.
Primary Responsibilities:
1) Responsible for communication infrastructure systems technology development, advances, and solutions for OEMC/PSIT. Provides technical expertise and guidance in relation to wired/wireless voice, data, and video security communications, Internet/Intranet communications, and all other technological systems. Develops and promotes economical technological advances that fit within the goals and mission of OEMC/PSIT in order to provide advances that benefit our internal and external customers.
2) Manages staff and budgets required to carry out the responsibility of providing voice, data, and video security communications to the OEMC/PSIT end users. Voice, data, and video security responsibilities include; network design, communication engineering & development, server support, Internet/Intranet access, communication implementation and maintenance. Responsible for all data center hardware, all OEMC/PSIT desktop computers and laptops, all OEMC/PSIT desk and cellular telephones, as well as PBXs that generate PAX and Marshall dial tone. Projects personnel and budgetary requirements. Responsible for the OEMC/PSIT fiber optic and copper infrastructure, all voice, data, and video security network equipment, WAN/LAN integrity, server support, Internet/Intranet communications, and security/surveillance cameras. Maintains all fire alarm pull boxes installed throughout the city, FCAD and PCAD field equipment, fire house amplifiers and specialized printers.
3) Researches communication technologies and pursues advanced educational opportunities, including but not limited to professional associations, higher education, seminars, workshops, etc. Ensures staff is properly trained when new systems and technologies are introduced into the environment.
4) Oversees department activities, provides reports and status updates to management, participates in interdepartmental meetings, represents the OEMC/PSIT at sister city agency communication meetings, meetings with Alderman typically regarding camera installations, and in general manages the day-to-day functions of the department.

Job Description:
The Senior Web Developer will independently apply creative, technical and advisory skills to the creation, maintenance and expansion of one or more functional public websites. They will work closely with operational planners and content developers in order to obtain relevant new content for these websites. Requirements:
• 5 years verifiable experience developing websites (must provide examples) during the past 10 years
• Must be fully capable with the Army Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) and/or the Joint Operations Planning Process (JOPP)
• Verifiable 2+ years experience working as a planner at Army or Marine Brigade Combat Team level or higher, or on a Joint staff at Joint Task Force level or higher, or other US military service/Joint equivalent service
• Proficiency in both oral and written communications, delivering briefings to senior military personnel
• Recent (minimum 1 year within the last 5 years) successful deployed experience in OIF, OEF, or other DoD named operation
• Bachelor’s Degree in website programming and/or graphics design; extensive relevant experience may be substituted for degree
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Dreamweaver CS6, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, SQL, Adobe Photoshop CS6 and the manipulation of computer graphics in web-capable formats such as JPG and PNG, Adobe Flash Professional CS6 and the creation of Flash banners and other graphics
• Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office productivity software, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel

Purpose and Scope:
The Regional Controller is a senior accounting and financial leader providing strategic oversight and direction to 3 manufacturing plants.
