Job Description:
Purpose and Scope:
The GM will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of managing an operation consisting of 128 US Army watercraft to include vessel operation, maintenance, supply and storage. Will be the main interface with the government and responsible for contract compliance. The GM oversees and maintains accountability for project teams and leadership of project.
Essential responsibilities:
1. Stands engine room and throttle watch while the vessel is underway.
2. Stands anchor watch and ramp discharge watch during sea and anchor details and while the vessel is in port.
3. Performs daily systems checks and posts all instrument and gage readings to the engineer logbook.
4. Positions fuel control racks and adjusts throttle controls to maximize engine efficiency.
5. Inspects, troubleshoots, tests, services, adjusts, repairs, and replaces batteries, electrical system components, fuel system elements, propellers and propeller shafts, pumping assemblies and parts, and other marine engine equipment.
6. Cleans, performs surface preparation, and paints engineer space equipment.
7. Provides supervision and technical guidance for subordinates performing their duties.
8. Prepares marine vessel equipment for operation.
9. Starts, operates, troubleshoots, and secures vessel engines. Inspects, services, adjusts, replaces, repairs, and overhauls engine components, throttle controls, accessory drives, boiler and piping systems, vessel steering mechanisms, electrical and wiring assemblies, cooling and lubrication systems, and vessel hulls for general upkeep.
10. Computes fuel requirements and documents vessel fuel usage.
11. Compiles and maintains the engine room records.

8. Aircraft Mechanic I (Fort Hood, TX)

Minimum Requirements:
URS is currently seeking a qualified Aircraft Mechanic I in support of U.S. Army Reserve contract maintenance operations in Fort Hood, TX.
High School graduate or equivalent with a minimum five (5) years actual and recent aircraft maintenance / repair experience is required. An A&P license shall be considered equivalent to three (3) years’ experience within the aircraft field.
Must have completed military aviation maintenance training, aircraft maintenance technical school curriculum or possess an FAA issued A&P license.
Knowledge and use of special tools / equipment required to perform assigned maintenance tasks is mandatory.

Job Description:
The Aircraft Mechanic I troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems. This mechanic repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, and plumbing and hydraulic units, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brake, welding equipment, rivet gun, and drills.
This worker reads and interprets manufacturers' and airline's maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
This mechanic performs 100-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic, and other hourly or calendar inspections, examines reciprocating engines for cracked cylinders and oil leaks, and listens to operating engine to detect and diagnose malfunctions, such as sticking or burnt valves, inspects jet engines and components for cracks, corrosion, foreign object damage, burned areas, distortions, security, warping, wear, and missing segments. Inspects jet engine turbine blades to detect cracks, distortion, corrosion, burn-out, security, or breaks, tests engine operation, using testing equipment, such as ignition analyzer, compression checker, distributor timer, ammeter, and jet calibration (Jetcal) tester, to locate source of malfunction. Work involves: replacing or repairing worn or damaged components, such as carburetors, alternators, magnetos, fuel controls, fuel pumps, oil pumps, and engine mounted gearboxes, and compressor bleed valves using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment; removing engine from aircraft, using hoist or forklift truck, disassembling and inspecting parts for wear, cracks, security, or other defects, and repairing or replacing defective engine parts and reassembles and installs engine in aircraft.
Job duties require that this mechanic: adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories, performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections, performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including flushing crankcase, cleaning screens and filters, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes.
This incumbent supervises the jacking and towing of aircraft, enters in the maintenance records description of the work performed and verifies the work was performed satisfactorily, may service engines and airframe components at line station making repairs, short of overhaul, required to keep aircraft in safe operating condition, may specialize in work, repair and modification of structural, precision, and functional spare parts and assemblies, and may specialize in engine repair. URS Corporation is looking for several qualified Civil/Structural Engineers to join their team on various OCONUS assignments. Assignments will require full time OCONUS deployment ranging from 3 months to 30 months. These individuals would be responsible for the construction engineering functions on a project to ensure adherence to all engineering construction plans and specifications. TRAIN OPERATION: Climb on/off equipment, set/release hand brakes, couple/uncouple air hoses, remove/replace broken 75lb railcar connectors, ride moving cars
by hanging on grab irons or ladders. Observe, interpret and relay hand, lantern, and other signals for train movement; judge and control speed and clearance
distance of cars; distinguish among colors and see at night.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintenance and installation of electrical systems for BNSF buildings and facilities.
SAFETY: Comply with company and federal safety rules, policies and procedure, to include wearing required safety equipment, responding to and acting on safety
concerns.
MAINTENANCE AND INSTALLATION: Install and maintain: 1) high voltage (up to 15KV) overhead and underground distribution systems; 2) low voltage (less than
600 V) for commercial and industrial installations; 3) HVAC systems, boilers, unit heaters, furnaces. Use fire recovery equipment. Install conduit, wire, lighting
systems, electrical services, underground/overhead devices. Maintain electrical systems of cranes, turntables, lift, and fueling stations.
TOOL/EQUIPMENT OPERATION: Construct and maintain electrical systems with bucket trucks, digger-derricks and trenchers. Use: pole climbers, high precision
measuring tools (micrometers, voltmeters, amp meters, recorders), hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.), power tools (drills, power saws, etc.).

Maintenance and repair of railroad track construction heavy equipment.

EQUIPMENT REPAIR: Repair and maintain engines including: 1 to16 HP Briggs and Stratton; 1 to 4 cylinder Wisconsin; Detroit; John Deere; and Cummings.
Replace and maintain bearings and gears in Funk, Allison, and Clark transmissions. Maintain front-end loaders - Caterpillars and Motor Graders. Troubleshoot and
repair 6V, 12V, and 24V electrical systems. Repair and maintain various hydraulic systems.
OPERATE EQUIPMENT: Operate large manual hand tools and electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic hand tools such as drills and impact wrenches. Occasionally operate
backhoe, trencher, and other heavy equipment.

Will work on a variety of large end items in support of the refinishing process on shelters, vans, trailers, communication equipment. • Assist the Supervisor in scheduling work, responsible for instructing and aiding a group of employees.

INSTALLATION ENGINEER
MISSION: Install supplied printers and accessories at customer sites. Diagnose and resolve issues that arise as part of an installation or service call. Escalate issues when issue resolution support is needed. Ensure all installations are completed so that any hoses, cables, or wires are routed in a neat visually appealing manner.
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
1) Install supplied printers and accessories at customer sites.
2) Undertake on-site and remote fault finding and repair of Company-supplied equipment. Significant travel away from home will be required.
a) Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair system problems at Customer sites.
b) Carryout preventative maintenance service to maximize uptime in line with Customer production
schedules and equipment specifications.
c) Provide telephone technical support including rotational after-hours, weekends and holidays on call.
3) Service electrical, mechanical and software based production equipment.
4) Maintain records of and follow the Company's service procedures and technical bulletins.
5) Provide technical (product) and Health & Safety training to Customers on Domino-supplied products.
6) Document customer training class attendees.
7) Provide daily installation updates to installation planning and or project management.
8) Liaise appropriately with site personnel who may include managers, operators, maintenance staff, and electricians.
9) Provide timely response to internal and external Customers.
a) Maintain complete and up to date work records and other administration tasks as required by the business
b) Work well with Sales and the internal organization.
c) Provide constructive feedback both positive and negative on Domino group products and local channel engineered accessories.
