Receive both written and verbal instructions from the AD Support Team, primarily the Events Facility Scheduler. Will at times provide assistance in other areas within AD Support and Cadet Services. Responsible for general task execution of event set-up and tear-down and monitoring of facilities. Ensure work assignments are complete as required by the AD Support Events Facility Scheduler. Confirm proper quality of work with AD Support Events Facility Scheduler. Replace ceiling tile and lights as needed. Conduct cleaning and general housekeeping duties in the performance of normal activities associated with event set-up and tear-down. Work closely with USAFA/ADS, coaches, and instructors in support of AD activities; always polite. Uniform compliance and excellent customer service skills are critical in task execution as AD Support is a key part of the success of each athletic event scheduled. PRIMARY DUTY: Responsible for event set-up and tear-down of multiple event venues, both inside and out, in support of PE classes, club teams, intramural sports and Academy NCAA teams. This includes setting up fields/facilities for intramural sports and monitoring of events such as soccer, lacrosse, swim meets and tennis. Ensure work assignments are complete and standard operating procedures meet all safety compliance requirements. Check quality of work. Open and close facilities as required by AD’s standard operating opening and closing times and for those holiday hours as set by AD; may also include Dean of Faculty facilities (Fairchild Hall/CETF). Monitor and secure facilities for unauthorized users in support of AD. Keep the Events Facility Scheduler informed of all work-related problems, challenges, repair requests and customer concerns at all times. Replace lights and ceiling tiles as needed. Conduct cleaning and housekeeping required in the performance of normal activities associated with event set-up and tear-down. Responsible for safe and proper storage of equipment used for events as well as equipment used by AD Support in the execution of task assignments. Move and/or hang signs as needed, move equipment/furniture as assigned, shut and/or open gates as needed, turn off and on light-alls when required. Support and monitor Academy intercollegiate events such as basketball during evenings/ weekends as required by PWS manning requirements. Monitor parking lots for unauthorized users. Post force protection signage as directed by AD Support Supervisor and/or Events Facility Scheduler. Ensure AD Support storage areas are kept clean and properly organized at all times. Keep the Events Facility Scheduler and the senior supply clerk advised at all times of supply materials needed for task execution. Fill out required logs or records and safety paperwork as directed. Work schedule will be evaluated bi-annually and possibly changed to 1 of 5 different shifts to include days, late nights, early mornings and/or weekends. The first two weeks will vary between shifts for training purposes. Full-time (40 hrs) is guaranteed and overtime is also possible on short term notice. You must be able to work any of the 5 shifts and be flexible to deviate from the set hours with little to no notice. Ample notice will be given for a bi-annual shift change. Some tasks involve the use of models and simulation to enable analysis across a wide range of areas • Provide special operations data, subject matter expertise and build data sets as required to support analysis • Provide update, reconciliation and management recommendations for the special operations portions of data products and repositories • Identify analysis of raw data modifications required, accurate, and available in time to support analytical initiatives. • Provide special operations data and subject matter expertise for the development of near-term to long-term scenarios, strategic and operational concepts of operation • Support database development and modeling of data cases and excursions in the Support to Strategic Analysis process. • Support work groups and conferences through travel and/or via secure video teleconferencing to the DOD sponsored site. • Coordinate meetings, and provide read-ahead material as required. • Report actions at work groups and conferences. • Review, provide, track, and adjust comments during product staffing to facilitate integrations inputs • Conduct analysis representing component equity and write component-specific narratives • Participate in meetings/conferences with joint staff personnel coordinate and augment hardware and system administrator support as necessary.
