Smith, AR) (S) K2 Solutions is seeking a Fleet Vehicle Management Specialist to support the U.S. Department of Energy for various areas of Logistics, Property Management, Equipment Operators, Munitions Support, Armorer Support, Mission Related Work (Work for Others), and Fleet/Vehicle Management with federal oversight by OST’s Logistics and Property Management Branch (LPMB) and Vehicle Systems Branch (VSB). Primary Duties and Responsibilities: All positions require but are not limited to the following for Fleet Vehicle Management Support • Provide support in the management and execution of GSA leased vehicles that includes maintaining records of utilization, management of fleet orders in accordance with GSA’s vehicle replacement cycle, maintaining yearly balance sheet, overseeing the scheduling of vehicle repairs and maintenance performed by GSA approved vendors, preparing annual report on GSA vehicle fuel and lease costs, and serving as liaison • Provide support in the management of the OST motor pool vehicle program that includes scheduling and dispatch of vehicles in the GSA motor-pool, performing scheduling for maintenance and repairs of government-owned, non-operational vehicles, and maintaining monthly vehicle utilization records and fleet inventory records; • Coordinate disposal of excess government owned vehicles; • Manage issuance of government license plates and maintaining license plate records; • Prepare quarterly and annual report on vehicle utilization • Extensively coordinate and establish communications with other support service contractors and federal representatives when preparing and participating in training event; • Provide support in the management and execution of motor vehicle program that includes scheduling and dispatch, providing for maintenance and repairs of both government-owned vehicles at the TRACOM VMF and GSA leased vehicles at off-site vendors, maintaining monthly vehicle utilization records, and fleet inventory records; • Verify all GSA required maintenance is completed within schedule; • Provide fleet support for training events that include planning for required vehicles to support training, staging necessary vehicles and equipment (trailers) to and from training events, making arrangements for vehicle moves, and coordinating vehicle support with training specialists; • Ensure vehicles issued by Fleet Management are clean (vehicles are free of debris, windshields clear, and exteriors are washed as locations permit), and prepped (required safety equipment is in vehicle and in working order) for scheduled activities; • Coordinate with the Vehicle Maintenance Facility (VMF)-Mobile Electronic Maintenance Facility (MEMF) for vehicle and Logistics Support Trailer (LST)-Mobile Training Trailer (MTT) requirements to assure vehicles are prepped for required maintenance and communication needs to fully meet all Fleet Management reservations; • Process vehicles for disposal per Fleet Manager; • Provide written communication on fleet movement schedules, fleet projections and requirements per training event to Fleet Manager; • Support and report in real-time all real-world vehicle incidents to the LPMB Chief and Fleet Manager (reporting shall be through phone-call and email after action report); appropriate security measures need to be taken; • Ensure all contractor fleet personnel possess and maintain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsements; • Ensure purchase requests for supplies, services, and equipment purchased • Issuing vehicles and required training equipment prior to departure of training exercise and ensuring 100% recovery of equipment upon return (i.e. credit cards, keys, books, etc.); and • Maintaining receipts and mileage log for GSA vehicles Requirements • Demonstrated knowledge of the concepts, principles, techniques, and practices of the disciplines of in their respective areas. • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in their respective areas.
