The SOF Operations Integrator ensures all SOF requests for AtN support are fully coordinated with other JIEDDO deployed assets. The Operations Integrator advises SOF Commanders and their staffs on how to best integrate JIEDDO capabilities into their ongoing operations and analytical efforts. Successful applicants must possess strong oral and writing skills, experience working with multidiscipline teams, and the ability to identify and analyze problems through the lens of their experience and subject matter expertise in order to generate executable solutions. The SOF Operations Integrator must have the ability to perform tasks with Microsoft productivity software and applications. The SOF Operations Integrator should have the ability to perform tasks with the following web-based intelligence tools, software, and databases: Microsoft SharePoint, Google Earth spatial analysis software, SIPR, and JWICS. Position Responsibilities/Duties: • Overseas lead for all TASS Field Service Engineers. • Manage the day-to-day systems sustainment operations of the security systems located at various installations. • Manage personnel support of system installations and configurations. • Arrange standard test gear and conduct operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production model. • Provide oversight and support to on-site maintenance of TASS Intrusion detection systems including malfunction repairs by adjusting, calibrating, aligning, or modifying circuitry and components using hand and power tools. • Provide subject matter expertise to troubleshoot technical issues with the system. • Establish inspection and maintenance routine to inspect and test equipment at each site. • This position may require the assembly and/or modification of wires, insulation, and components using hand and power tools. • Responsible for replacing worn or broken equipment; installs electronics equipment and equipment field changes. • Responsible for maintaining the in-country inventory of spare parts, including returning broken or damaged equipment to the depot facility. • Coordinate requisitions and replenishes parts, equipment, and material required for the project with Forward Supply Warehouse at Ramstein AB in Germany. • Responsible for maintaining records of quantity and type of materials distributed to all installations. • Arranges transportation for shipment of parts, equipment, and material to back to the Forward Supply Warehouse. • Responsible for ensuring all personnel maintain network diagrams and circuit records at each installation. • Provide refresher training to installation personnel on equipment for personnel assigned to administer and/or operate the system. Required Qualifications: • Must have a SECRET clearance • All candidates must be US citizens. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate. • Experience leading overseas teams of field service engineers. • Three (3) or more years of technical experience in Information Assurance technology, physical or electronic security system projects or a related field. • Candidates should have a strong background in management and troubleshooting of intrusion detection system and recent experience with Mass Notification Systems, electronic security systems, access control, or Closed Circuit Television (CCTV). • Department of Defense Information Assurance Technical Level I certification – DoD IAT Level I. • Engineers/technicians with Tactical Automated Security System (TASS) knowledge and experience is highly desirable. • Must be willing to travel / work in Africa. • Must be able to obtain a valid US passport and visas for the countries in Africa. • Must pass medical requirements prior to deploying to Africa. • Must be able to work independently.
