INTRODUCTION
An Acquisition Category 1D program, which provides the principal means of tactical surface mobility for the Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) during both ship-to-shore maneuver, and subsequent combat operations ashore.
Within the framework of the DoD acquisition system, it is well recognized that Operating & Support (O&S) activities represent a large percentage of total costs throughout a systems life cycle. Two major components where O&S cost reductions can be realized are: (1) Manpower and Personnel Analysis, and (2) Training Task Analysis.
This position requires the following:
(1) expertise with the processes and procedures related to determining manpower and personnel requirements to support the introduction of new/improved capabilities to amphibious vehicles, and
(2) evaluation and development of training requirements and training materials to support test and sustainment of amphibious vehicles.
Duties typically are of such breadth that they require planning, and developing several phases, each involving the development, or origination of some completely new features. Other assignments may be much narrower, but are of such intensity that available theory is not applicable, and relevant experimental data are nonexistent. In such cases, the incumbent pursues and correlates several lines of investigation within the narrow area of assignment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, review, and comment on various acquisition reports and documents, e.g., System Specifications, Manpower Estimate Reports, MPT Plans, Statements of Work, Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Maintenance Plans, and Fielding Plans.
- Provide technical direction, and guidance to and monitor the work performance of Government support organizations, the Prime Contractor, and Support Contractors.
- Ensure the acceptability and completeness of MPT contract deliverables.
- Serve as a key participant at In-Process Reviews, MPT Working Integrated Product Teams, and Systems Engineering reviews.
- Solve independently or recommend the solution of problems or risks that arise during various program life cycle phases.
- Participate in the planning and execution of key programmatic logistics events like Operational Assessments, Logistics Demonstrations, Independent Logistics Assessments, and various system test events.
- Conduct business case analyses that identify the required resources to cover the full spectrum of MPT life cycle support.
- Determine plausible courses of action commensurate with identified program constraints, Total Force Structure, and related variables.
- Conduct MPT analyses to include, but not limited to:
o Gap Analysis
o Instructional Systems Analysis

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY THE POSITION
- Demonstrated working knowledge of, and experience in transitioning a Major Defense Acquisition Program through its life cycle phases.

Lake County is seeking an individual with experience in the operation and maintenance of public water supplies, sanitary sewer systems and/or water reclamation facilities, including preventative and routine building and grounds maintenance. This position will draw water samples for testing and perform basic chemical analyses of water. Required Skills

31. Physician Assistant - Iraq, Afghanistan
NOTE: This is a notional position contingent upon position availability.
The Medical Services Support in Iraq (MSSI) Program Manager establishes a clinically safe and professionally managed healthcare environment and provides primary health care as well as resuscitative surgical care in accordance with U.S. or equivalent medical standards on a 24-hour basis, 365 days of the year to Chief of Mission (COM) personnel U.S. Embassy Baghdad, serving a population of approximately 14,000 adults.
This position is notional and will be filled upon future openings.
Required Skills
SCOPE:
The Physician Assistant (PA) reports to the MSSI Program Manager and will be clinically supervised by the site medical director and work at the direction of a Physician, Surgeon or Anesthetist. The PA will be assigned to treat patients in one of the following settings: (1) Health Units (non-surgical/field medical care clinics), (2) Small medical/trauma hospitals (DSH), (3) Large medical/trauma hospital (DSH).
The Physician Assistant (PA) support the medical function and will treat patients in these settings to ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis, treatment and recovery, request necessary tests and follow-up visits and refer patients to specialists as necessary.
Some settings may require the Physician Assistant (PA) to coordinate with local hospitals to determine local capabilities, coordinate admission, monitor and arrange final disposition.
In addition, some settings will require stabilization of patient and coordination of evacuation of patient to medevac center or CONUS.
The Physician Assistant (PA) will stabilize and prepare sick and injured personnel to a higher level medical facility. The Physician Assistant (PA) will ensure that medical kits supplied to all personnel are maintained as to contents and serviceability. In hospital settings, Physician Assistant (PA) supports the physician in planning and implementing the medical support program (preventive and corrective) to maintain the health of COM personnel.
In some locations, the Physician Assistant (PA) will have a leadership role (Lead Physician Assistant) and serve as both a Physician Assistant (PA) and Site Medical Director.
Physician Assistants (PA) provide a U.S. standard of care for our patient care/treatment model.
All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession and applicable professional specialty organizations.
OTHER DUTIES:
All Health Care Providers (HCPs) will document care delivered and follow up care required.
Maintain the highest regard for patient dignity and observe the precepts of the American Hospital Associations Bill of Rights for patients.
Physician Assistant, at the direction of the responsible Site Medical Director, may be required hand carry meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks) for Hospitalized patients from the dining facility operated by another contractor to the Hospital inpatient ward and return trays or dispose of trash accordingly.
Attends and participates in a variety of meetings and task force groups to improve quality and outcomes, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, new task efforts, and new policy requirements.
Note: CHS will provide institutional malpractice insurance as well as individual malpractice policies for the all Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
Required Experience
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE
Hold and maintain a current unrestricted U.S. State Physician Assistant license and have NCCPA certification.
Must have a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ experience as a Physician Assistant; PA with emergency medicine experience are highly desirable.
Have and maintain current certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
PA’s who recently completed a Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) course or comparable advanced trauma course featuring “live tissue” or simulation training are very desirable.
All healthcare providers must have current clinical experience in direct patient care and have worked a minimum of 6 of the last 12 months in desired career field
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Physician Assistants will require a favorably adjudicated Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) investigation conducted by the Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security.
Physician Assistant will sign a CHS MSSI Foreign Service Agreement (FSA) and is bound to the terms and conditions of the FSA.
The workweek is established by the DoS Chief of Mission.
Physician Assistants shall be licensed in the United States
Participate in training, (including HIPAA training) that may be required by DOS or CHS prior to deployment to Iraq.
Must complete a Foreign Affairs Counter Terrorism training course prior to deployment to Iraq for work on the MSSI contract. Training will include: Combat First Aid, Weapons Familiarization, Defensive Tactics/Driving, IED recognition, Surveillance Detection and Hostage Survival and Personnel Recovery
Must have a valid, current U.S. Driver’s License
Must have a current U.S. Passport
All Physician Assistants shall be proficient in the ability to speak, write and communicate in English.
All shall demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic word processing programs and the CHS Medical Management System software.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be confirmed by a medical examination to be “medically and dentally fit” in accordance CHS Medical Readiness Guidelines and Policies and/or as dictated by the Client
No conditions that would prevent the wear of personal protective equipment; including protective mask, ballistic helmet, body armor and chemical/biological protective garments or conditions that would prevent the capability of donning, lifting or carrying of up to 70 lbs. of referenced gear while running to a bunker or protected area in the face of perceived or imminent danger.
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment; travel in Iraq is required by surface or air.
The climate is desert-like, hot, and prone to dust storms.

Position Overview
To oversee the long-term follow-along and retention services to twenty employed veterans. To develop and maintain relationships with local area businesses for the purpose of employment retention. To assist the veterans’ families in the area of family strengthening, financial wellness/literacy strategies, and job development when necessary/appropriate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Retention Specialist:
Follow-Along services will be provided to each veteran, their immediate family and their employer for a full 24-month time period should funding allow. These services will include the following areas of focus: mediation skills (both the veteran and the employer), the development of workforce attachment, training on specific barriers of the veteran (employer), 24-hour access, motivational interviewing, career advancement when appropriate, group activities, Job Success Club, and support and education services to the veteran’s entire family.
Relationship Management
The Retention Specialist will communicate routinely and consistently with all appropriate CDC workers, Discover Goodwill management, the State of Colorado RFP monitor, and supervisors while demonstrating the highest level of customer service with clients. The Retention Specialist will also cultivate relationships for current employment opportunities, as well as future opportunities for placement. A main component of follow-along services is helping people adjust to life on the job as well as at home. During each meeting with the placed veteran, motivational interviewing will occur.
Tracking, Documenting and Reporting
The incumbent will maintain State-dictated information to include customer database, accurate records and all outcomes outlined in the funded proposal. Confidentiality of all information is of the utmost important and all State and Federal regulations around confidentiality will be strictly followed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma and Military service. Candidate must be a Veteran.
Preferred: Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing, and Psychology, Education or related field or four years work experience in business, education or related field. Experience in the field will be considered.
It is the intention of this program to hire veterans to provide the support necessary for success. This peer support would provide the program participant with the knowledge, experience, emotional, social, and/or practical help that is needed.
The incumbent must have a working knowledge of career development processes, strategies and community resources. It is also preferred that the incumbent have an understanding of the needs and capabilities of public assistance recipients, as well as knowledge of the culture of poverty. The incumbent must be a self-starter, demonstrating the ability to stay focused and disciplined while being flexible to the demands of the job. Maintain accurate records, demonstrated sound computer skills required. The Retention Specialist must also conduct self in a professional manner and maintain a professional appearance that enhances the firm’s reputation. The incumbent must be able to work effectively as a team member and must have experience speaking effectively to various small groups in a presenting/informative role. Position requires sitting for extended periods and using a computer keyboard for a minimum of four hours each day.
The incumbent will be expected to maintain confidentiality regarding agency and client records and information.
A valid Colorado driver’s license without a history of violations is also required due to the amount of time in the field. Overtime and/or weekend hours (there is a commitment to be available 24/hrs/day) may be required when necessary as well as some travel to attend meetings and required training.

Video Evidence Technician
As a Video Evidence Technician, you will collect and manage evidence (including digital evidence), property, and items scheduled for destruction.
Typical Responsibilities
• Manage evidence, records, and storage of inventory

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Oversee the operation of patient simulation experiences:
Assure simulation equipment is in good working condition prior to the start of all simulations; troubleshoot all simulation equipment.
Supervise participants in use of simulation equipment, providing an appropriate orientation to simulator features and the simulated learning Environment.
Manage room set-up and clean-up for healthcare simulations and debriefings; accountable for having the room props, equipment, and other resources prepared for the scheduled.
Collaborate with AFMMAST CPO:
Coordinate with AFMMAST CPO to design, plan, implement and evaluate simulation education activities, and curriculum materials to support the student achievement of program objectives.

Operate simulation equipment with the ability to follow medical aspects of training scenarios and make appropriate adjustments based on participant actions.
Monitor clinical simulator exercises, adjusting parameters and responses for learners and faculty.
Manipulate physiologic data and interpret participants’ responses to scenarios.
Oversee simulation encounters to include after action reports (AAR) of simulation training.
Assist each of the unit’s functional training managers in identifying gaps based on simulator experiences.
Assists with the managing of day to day activities and prioritizing tasks.
Operates personal computer to access e-mail, electronic calendars, and other basic office support software.
Complies with all applicable CHS standards and guidelines.
