Job Summary
Ensure staff is working together as a team to ensure optimum service and that guest needs are met. Inspect grooming and attire of staff, and rectify any deficiencies. Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc. Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness. Appreciation Nights, organizing all aspects of the nights, gain and renew various units
for team building, hail and farewells, reenlistment/retirement/promotion ceremonies,
and Strong Bond events.
• Picnic Sales: Responsible for prospecting new customers and qualifying leads provided.
Candidate will inherit some existing accounts, but will need to be proactive in cultivating
new business.
• Event Planning duties: Must oversee and execute the entire group event from
beginning to end to insure a successful outing for the client and their guest, and any
other specific duties related to the group outing.
• Community Group Sales: Responsible for working with local community groups i.e.
Boy/Girl Scouts, Little Leagues, Non-Profits, etc. in selling them fundraisers, banquets,
and group ticket packages.
• Some sponsorship sales will also be required when dealing with group accounts.
Background:
Candidate should have experience working with military organizations and a working
knowledge with military procedures regarding vendors and sales to military
organizations.
• Successful candidate will have a minimum of two (2) years sales experience, preferably
in the sports industry. Candidate must have strong management skills, be well
organized, and be able to contribute to a team environment. Candidate must be able to
handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
• Ideal candidate will have connections within the military communities i.e. National
Guard, recently discharged veteran, military spouse, etc.
Physical Requirements:
• Extended hours of work between the months of March to September working all scheduled
games.
