Report to: Operations Manager
Job Summary: The Production Technician 1 will work as part of a team to produce individual components making up the GATR inflatable satellite antennas and other systems. They will be expected to obtain solid working knowledge of at least one assembly process, while also cross-training in other manufacturing duties.
Duties and Responsibilities
Production Technician 1 may be trained to perform any or all of the following:
• Build and assemble components from detailed engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions
• Route, wire, assemble, and install electrical and electronic components
• Perform precision fabric assembly and integration
• Fabricate composite structures
• Conduct antenna system functional testing
• Document antenna system performance
All Production personnel are expected to:
• Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules within standard times with minimum supervision
• Identify and report non-conforming components both in writing and verbally to supervisor
• Maintain production facility to incorporate ISO standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Objective Role:

Education, Experience, and Certifications:
• Five to seven years' experience in dairy, food processing or similar facility

Minimum Qualifications:
- Military Education level (MEL) 4 required (Intermediate Level Education/Command and General Staff College or service equivalent).
- Recent strategic or operational experience in MoD or Afghan General Staff environments, strategic intelligence agencies, interagency strategic operations, preferably in Afghanistan or Iraq training international forces.
- Division-level G2X or service equivalent experience as field grade officer required.
- Experience in professional development & training and working with Middle Eastern or Central Asian cultures, is desired.

Job Description:
A Recruiter has to be willing to learn Sheehy specific computer programs such as LoadTrek, DMO, etc. The Recruiter's job is to source drivers by placing the initial and follow-up job ads for available positions in the appropriate places to recruit desired candidates. It is also important to hire drivers who are committed to long term employment and have a proven record with a long term employment history.
Another part of the Recruiter position is the follow-up after hire; facilitating New Hire Driver Orientations, processing all the necessary personnel file paperwork, working closely with the Accounting and Human Resource Departments to accomplish this task. This may include processing applicants in DMO and LoadTrek and finalizing and processing all new hire paperwork. Weekly driver resource log updates and other reporting is required.
A good Recruiter is more than someone who just does phone screenings of applicants. A Recruiter needs to be able to know the avenues in which to source candidates, and to build and maintain relationships to be able to find the right drivers and get the number of candidates needed to fill the high demand for truck driver positions.
The Recruiter will spend approximately 80% of their time recruiting candidates, by placing job ads, viewing applications in DMO, phone screening to qualify and then moving the candidate on to the interview/road and drug testing phase. The other 20% of time will be spent on paperwork preparing for new hire orientations, reporting, facilitating new hire orientations and processing the personnel files for Accounting/Payroll.
