Role and Responsibilities:
We have multiple positions open with different shifts. Please refer to the website for available shift information. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a high level of maintenance support for all equipment in the Galaxy filling process. This includes maintaining equipment in all areas of the Mix, Fill and Finishing complexes at the Drug Delivery and Penicillin facilities. This position ensures manufacturing lines are well maintained and ready to run during planned production time. This requires providing on time PM completion, constant monitoring during production to spot and solve issues before they affect production. Provide a high level of troubleshooting ability to repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. It is customary to provide service on an emergency basis, including overtime, weekends and during plant shutdowns. Must become familiar with corporate specifications and plant SOP’s governing the operation of the Galaxy process and local GMP. Must adhere to all plant safety rules and direct others in the proper application of plant safety. The successful candidate will drive innovation and continuous improvement, able to work independently and closely with manufacturing, engineering and quality groups to resolve issues. This position will support Sr. Field Service Technicians and Lead Maintenance Technicians with scheduling and timely PM completion. Out of town travel may be required to attend seminars, visit equipment vendors or other Baxter facilities. This position requires lifting up to 100 pounds on a periodic basis. Walking and traveling between Drug Delivery and Penicillin buildings throughout all seasons. A Maintenance Technician requires little supervision to accomplish his/her objectives. This individual looks for ways to improve their knowledge and skill set through additional training. Take a proactive role in safe work practices and lead by example. Point out unsafe conditions and practices to others and support the C2S initiative.

Initiate a work order, and additional documentation required to resolve the issue. Review equipment trends related to the issues and support efforts to eliminate reoccurring problems. •The Maintenance Technician will share knowledge and train less experienced technicians in the Galaxy process and all related equipment including safety, 6S, PM’s associated with the RLD and RLN facilities. •Learn to handle robots in all normal production modes, troubleshoot and identify problems related to robots, machine output and quality defects as they occur. •Solicit help from Lead technicians and engineering assistance when needed. •Perform all other duties as assigned. •Adhere to the Shire Code of Conduct. •Maintain 100% on time completion of all required training
Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Responsibilities include:

Job Responsibilities: Role-play a variety of positions to include, but not limited to: ground controller, Ground Force Commander (GFC), other air assets and platforms, other ground combat elements, and possibly overall scenario director to include scheme of maneuver and radio communications. Be proficient with applicable enemy TTPs and be able to direct less experienced personnel in their execution. Operate a wide range of specialized equipment, weapons and vehicles to include, but not limited to, laser pointers, UHF/VHF/FM/HF/SATCOM radios, current Global Positioning System (GPS) equipment, overt/covert lights and marking devices and pyrotechnics. Operate radios in secure mode with Communications Security (COMSEC). Perform mission support at Will Rogers Airfield vicinity, and other locations that may require overnight stay in field conditions for multiple days. Training scenarios may be accomplished on military bases, military training ranges, within military operating areas, and within local civilian areas (i.e. cities, towns, counties, parks, etc.). Provide high tempo training support in austere locations, in inclement weather, under high stress conditions, and may be required to work irregular hours. Operate under Night Vision Device (NVD) conditions for extended periods. Lead or follow the mission lead for both friendly and opposing forces to allow for flexibility in scenario management.
Minimum Requirements:
•Active TS/SCI security clearance.
•Must have recent—within the last 7 years—special operations team task force combat experience (i.e. Army 18 series, 75th Ranger Rgt, NSW, MARSOC, USAF 1C2X1 or 1C4X1 with extensive SOCOM task force experience) and knowledge of integrating joint firepower (i.e. ground based lethal fires, CAS, and non-lethal kinetics) and manned ISR platforms.

Ability to troubleshoot problems via a console on a server or workstation sufficient to have a support group make repairs is required. Knowledge of scripting and the ability to restore a computer from disks or backups is also needed.
System administrators will also coordinate efforts with other IT Services crews to include Server Management, Boundary Protection, Enterprise Database Team, Infrastructure Services, Information Assurance, Release Control Validation Management, and vendor support personnel to resolve Incident Requests, Problems, and Change Requests.
Minimum Qualifications:
• At least 3 years experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field is desirable but can be substituted with relevant experience.
• 2-5 years experience performing Unix and/or Linux Systems Administration duties.
• Ability to troubleshoot system using built in OS functionality and system logs.
• Experience with administering Red Hat Linux or Unix based PCs and Sparc based servers.
• Ability to install software packages and patches.
• Perform OS tuning, understand networking, perform user management, and perform security hardening, review OS logs as needed and perform system backups.
• The successful candidate will have experience with scripting, particularly in shell scripting. Any experience with SH and CSH variants, Korn shell would be helpful.
