The assigned primary On Call person will be backed up by the previous week’s On Call technician who will be expected to have their Company phone on and be willing to assist the primary On Call technician and/or management in resolving customer issues as a backup. • Troubleshoot and perform diagnostic assessments to determine probable cause for malfunctions and to suggest and perform repair for the customer with customer approval. • Collect oil samples, complete all information required on the sample, then seal properly for shipping. • Complete all appropriate paperwork in detail that supports the condition of the equipment, what actions were taken at the customer site and what additional service/repairs may be needed or if work was completed to customer’s satisfaction along with a signature by the customer. • Occasionally assists with preparing service quotations using Microsoft Dynamics CRM. • Responsible for maintaining and properly tracking Company tools and van inventory and keeping Company property in good working condition; notifying management if there is a need for repair or replacement of Company property. • Complete all assigned safety training and be an advocate of safety, following Company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of you and others around you at all times. • Excellent attendance, punctuality and a positive attitude are essential to this position. • Additional duties as assigned.
