Job Description:
Telum is recruiting qualified individuals to serve as Travel Voucher Reviewers. The reviewer will review Defense Travel System (DTS) vouchers for the US Navy (USN) to support travel operations through analysis and review of vouchers in accordance with established regulations for Government travelers throughout both the Contiguous United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS).
Job Responsibilities:
Reviewers will ensure that vouchers and sub-vouchers for members of NAVSUP GLS or its FLC's are completed IAW DTS policies, regulations, and the JTR. Verify amounts through collection of requisite travelers' supporting receipts and documentation in accordance with references listed above and ensures that all documents are properly uploaded into DTS. Provide satisfactory verification and validation information in a daily report to the travel program manager as appropriate and stamp the document in DTS as "reviewed". Monitor and track voucher submissions using the DTS to determine if the vouchers have been submitted within the five day regulatory timeframe. Notify travelers of the requirement to submit a travel voucher within two days after return from travel. Notify travelers who have not submitted vouchers within five working days after the traveler returns and the respective command travel coordinators and shall follow-up with travelers and or travel program coordinators to obtain the reason/justification for late submission. Prepare and submit daily reports to the Travel Program Manager that identify vouchers successfully reviewed and shall identify and report problematic vouchers. Provide input and recommendations via weekly reports on the content and format of reports being provided to management on the health of the travel program and assessments. Minimum Job Requirements:
. Must have 2+ years' experience reviewing and processing DTS Travel Vouchers
. Must have experience developing and improving internal procedures.
. Must have experienced internally developing a training plan and training others on it.
. Must be fluent in English and be able communicate both written and orally in a clear and concise manner as applicable to the USN practices.
. At least 5 years' experience assigned in Special Operations.
. Must be willing to undergo criminal and personal background checks prior to employment.
. Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
. Must have prior experience producing travel related finance reports for the USN.
. Must be willing to work regular hours of 0700-1700 Monday through Friday, including occasionally working beyond these with possible weekend and holidays also.

Scope of Experience and Responsibilities:
.5 years+ of experience in government contract cost accounting.
