Provide technical assistance on AN/SPS-49 Radar systems aboard U.S. Navy ships under the cognizance of SWRMC by aiding the shipboard crews in the operation, inspection, problem identification, troubleshooting and maintenance of the installed computer systems and networks.
Assistance will be provided in these main areas:
• AN/SPS-49A(V)1.
• Power output checks and minimum discernible signal tests.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is primarily responsible to help ensure proper operation, maintenance, and repair of all systems in the Powerhouse providing uninterrupted supply of power to WSI’s plant and housing areas. The Powerhouse Supervisor is responsible for directing a staff of Powerhouse Technicians, coordinating and implementing the operational and maintenance activities of this team including corrective maintenance (CM), preventative maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) for various production equipment. The keys to success in this position are to utilize technical and leadership skills, and advanced maintenance systems and techniques to direct the safe and efficient operation of all production and ancillary equipment while developing all direct reports. Additional tasks/responsibilities include: Key member of overall facility Maintenance organization. Ensures all powerhouse maintenance related projects and work are in compliance with standards set by ADEC, AKOSH, HAACP and any additional governing agencies by which we manage our business while adhering to and positively supporting company policies. Additionally, ensure facility and support equipment is maintained at a high level of operational performance where all equipment, machinery and systems are in an "up and running" state at all times. Also, schedule and direct the daily activities of production maintenance staff to ensure completion of assigned, planned and unplanned work. In addition, will work cooperatively with the Engineering Planning to develop and execute maintenance plans, adheres to maintenance budget related to the assigned areas.
Specific duties include:
• Proper operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of five units of KV switch gears, three 2.2 M.W. Wartsilla generators (4160 Volt with distribution system), two 700 horsepower 150psi Cleaver Brooks steam boilers, four centrifuges, five Air Compressors, and seven Deep Well Pumps.
• Monitor, track, and notify of inventory of spare parts.
• Aid in execution of special projects.
• Timely and accurate maintenance of Powerhouse log records.
• Other duties as assigned.
Computer Skills: Basic personal computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and Power Point.

My client is a well-established insurance agency and has been around for 40 years. They are conveniently located in the Mill Creek, WA area and are close to public transportation. The owner is growing and wants to add two additional inside sales/customer service trainees to his staff. This is an entry level role. Compensation consists of a base salary and bonus program, with a 90 day salary review/increase. This is a W2 position, not a 1099. You will not be cold calling or going door to door. You will be trained by the agent and will learn in-house computer systems, work with established policy holders, do account reviews, and add new lines of coverage as needed. You will be selling/servicing all personal lines policies: auto, home, umbrella, RV, boats, jet skis/water toys, and life/financial products.
This is a nice, family-friendly office. Hours are Mon to Fri 8:30 to 5:00 pm. This is a full time, permanent role. Successful performance should earn you a monthly bonus of $600 to $800 on average in addition to your base salary. This agent pays some of the highest first year commission splits in the area across all coverage lines.
The position requires you to have WA P & C and L & D licenses when you start.
How insurance licensing works:
If you are not already licensed, there are weekly local classes that are available for licensing or you can take the classes online. You need 20 education hours for each part of your licensing, so 80 hours total. Then you take the WA State tests (one computerized test for the P & C, and one for the L & D). You get your results on the spot, and if you pass, they obtain your digital finger prints, and submit you for licensing and background check (no DUI's or Felonies). Your official license is emailed to you after that. Once you are fully licensed, you will start working at the agency. Note: the client will present you with an offer that will be contingent on you obtaining your licenses.
Backgrounds that are good fits:
Candidates should have stable (no job hopping) work history in either sales or customer service/retail, have fast computer skills, be a quick learner, and be able to communicate well in writing as well as over the phone. You need to be able to talk about complex insurance coverages in an easy to understand manner. Your role is a trusted adviser, not just an order taker.
