DESCRIPTION:

Working closely with the Administrative, Surgical and Medical Directors of the thoracic transplant and ventricular assist device programs, the Nurse Manager of the thoracic transplant programs is responsible for providing administrative and clinical leadership for the Heart & Lung Transplant and VAD Programs. The incumbent develops and ensures adherence to the standard of care, process improvement, maintenance of regulatory compliance and personnel management. The Nurse Manager oversees clinical staff to ensure proper oversight of the thoracic transplant and ventricular assist device programs.
The Nurse Manager also provides fiscal management of staffing expenses and is responsible for ensuring that administrative and clinical goals are met. Conducts timely performance appraisals, performance management, training, counsels staff and takes disciplinary action as needed in coordination with Human Resources/Labor Relations. Assures accurate timekeeping and payroll for all departmental employees. Participates in quality control, process improvement and investigations of adverse events within the thoracic transplant and ventricular assist device programs.

Education and Experience:

Specific duties include:
• Tracks and maintains the operational status of all tactical communications equipment under their purview.
• Provides non-depot level repairs of tactical communications equipment to include hardware replacement and software upgrades. Coordinates warranty repairs with vendors and depot level repairs with the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA).
• Assists with requirements documentation in support of Basis of Issue (BOI). Gathers data points from After Action Reports (AAR), Lessons Learned, and interviews with communications and operational personnel to support changes to BOI.
• Assists with coordinating and implementing telecommunications equipment (antennas, repeaters, handsets, etc.) to support specialized training evolutions.
• Recommends to the Communications Program Manager alternate fielding plans when insufficient telecommunications equipment is readily available

Determines compliance with applicable frequency directives. Meets with operational personnel to gather program data and discuss significant problems. Quiet Professionals, LLC (www.QuietProfessionalsLLC.com) is seeking GEOINT/Imagery Analysts to serve on a unique, multi-discipline team assisting JIDO and deployed US Forces with fused intelligence products to enhance US Forces effectiveness against enemy networks that employ improvised threats such as unmanned aerial systems (UAS).
The GEOINT/Imagery Analyst will assist in developing analytical products that focus on finding immediate through long-term solutions to emerging improvised threats. The analyst will prioritize and categorize requests for information. The analyst will conduct near and long term analyses of device and network-centric problem sets usually focused on Violent Extremist Organizations that employ the improvised threat devices to achieve strategic effects. Typical problem sets include the analysis of unique terrain features, identification or monitoring of: signatures of improvised threat activity/events, facilitation to produce improvised threat devices and support of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) requirements.
Specifically, the analyst will determine the characteristics of a location that is associated with activities of a human enemy network, use JIDO tools to maintain analytical working aids and databases that support advanced geospatial predictive analytics, analyze physical characteristics as requested to support the RFS process or to focus on Named Areas of Interest, establish predictive insights into likely enemy activity that will help focus other analytical efforts, ISR, and tactical operations to anticipate enemy reactions and adaptations,
and provide geospatially-driven predictions of threat activity based on a range of previously observed and evaluated physical signatures.
Requirements:
•Successful applicants will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant imagery intelligence collection and analysis experience in positions of increasing responsibility in one or more military, academic or defense industry functional area. This experience should demonstrate the ability to meet the duties described above and to develop intelligence products based upon command guidance, mission analysis, an operational perspective, and/or thorough threat analysis.
•TS/SCI security clearance
•Documented experience supporting ground tactical operations in established combat zones.
•Documented experience conducting imagery analysis to enable targeting of human networks.
•Senior Level requirement: Master’s Degree and 10+ years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's Degree and 18+ years of relevant experience, or 22+ years of relevant work experience with no degree.
•Journeyman Level requirement: Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience, or Associates Degree and 7+ years of experience, or 9+ years of relevant work experience with no degree.
•Junior Level requirement: Associates Degree and 4+ years of experience, or 6+ years of relevant work experience with no degree.
•Must be willing to work rotating shifts if needed.
•This position may require recurring domestic and international travel to include conducting short deployments (15 days or less) to combat zones.
•The applicant may be called upon to support 24-hour watch operations.
