Job Summary: Lake County is seeking nine temporary road maintenance workers. The employment dates are December 1, 2018 through March 31, 2019. These positions perform a variety of maintenance and traffic tasks related to the preservation and upkeep of County highways, bridges, drainage structures and other highway features, and DOT facilities. These positions perform semi-skilled work in operating tools and highway maintenance. They also perform essential snow and ice control operations. All duties are performed in accordance with the county safety code and established safe work practices. The regular hours of work are Monday through Friday from 6:30am until 3:00pm. During the snow and ice control call-outs these positions are on a 24-hour on-call- status.
The candidates must have the ability to operate snow plow trucks with plows and salt spreaders, tractors, chippers, compressors, jack hammers, generators, etc. The candidates must also have the ability to wash, grease and assist in maintenance/servicing equipment including minor repairs and preventive maintenance; the ability to repair, replace and patch asphalt and concrete surfaces and fill in aggregate shoulder ruts; the ability to direct and control traffic during road maintenance; the ability to remove and dispose of trash, dead animals and other debris found on highways; the ability to trim and chip trees and shrubs; the ability to work from ladders or scaffolding; the ability to perform difficult physical labor; the ability to work under extreme weather conditions and the ability to work overtime as required.
To be successful in this role you must have possession of a CDL Class B license with air brakes, Class A preferred, supplemented by a satisfactory driving record and a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); possess the ability to effectively problem solve and can work both individually and in a team atmosphere.

Lake County is a financially stable, professionally managed, AAA rated County located in northeastern Illinois. We are currently seeking candidates for the following position(s):
The Corrections Officer is responsible for securing inmates in the County Jail. This is varied guard work involved in enforcing rules and regulations, preventing escapes, maintaining order and discipline among inmates and escorting inmates to and from their cells. Work also involves transportation and supervision of inmates to and from court, hospital and within the jail facility. Basic records are kept; officers are uniformed. Supervision is received from command staff on an assigned shift. This job title operates on three eight hour fifteen minute shifts. Corrections Officers are members of Teamsters Local 700.
Requirements You must be a United States citizen, and 21 years of age. Applicants must have no felony convictions or pending cases. You must be willing to work any shift, and possess a valid driver’s license. Education - applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent with preference given to candidates with at least 30 college credit hours in psychology, criminology and related fields. We have no military requirement, but preference is given to candidates with at least two years military service and/or prior experience in corrections, law enforcement, and security or any other management.
Successful applicants must take and pass a written exam, work related - medical/physical examination and pass a background investigation, including criminal history status. In addition to the first year of requirements, candidates must also successfully pass all aspects of the Correctional Field Training Program within the first year of employment. New employees must become State Certified Corrections Officers from the Illinois Training Board. The criteria for certification are two hundred (200) hours of academy training, fifteen (15) hours of more advanced training that includes the Law regarding Corrections, Human Growth and Development and Prison Organizations. Must pass a one (1) week Direct Supervision class. Candidates who successfully complete the written test will be given further information on the testing process. Successful completion of the above qualifications does not guarantee employment.

SUMMARY
Provide a variety of high-level comprehensive engineering services to customers in the field. Field Service Engineer may be required to travel frequently and for extended periods. Individual will be required to work on high-powered electronic equipment in an industrial environment, aboard ships, as well as commercial facilities. Field Service Engineer will be required to perform emergency and scheduled maintenance. May be required to assist in the removal and installation of customer equipment. Field Engineer may be required to troubleshoot equipment down to component board level. Must be able to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and installation drawings. Must be computer literate and operate basic Microsoft Office programs. Will be required to provide written detailed reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Apply electronic theory and knowledge to perform operational tests, gather data, analyze faults, and perform repair/upgrade in equipment.
2. Troubleshoot problems and perform repairs, tests, and alignments to equipment, this includes; analog circuitry, digital circuitry and appropriate mechanical adjustments.
3. Provide technical guidance and training to customer personnel on products.
4. Performs and/or assists in the installation of customer equipment and on site acceptance testing.

10. Travel and/or relocate from assigned territory as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Production workers, test technicians, or other Field Service Engineers on a field team report to the Field Service Engineer that is assigned as the lead. The number of employees on a field team can vary.
QUALIFICATIONS

Plant Utilities Technician
Plant Utilities Technicians operate, maintain, and repair all mechanical utility systems in a 24/7 Production Environment. Documents all start up, shutdown, repairs, and return to service events of cGMP equipment. The Central Utilities Building has a mix of cGMP and non-GMP equipment and utilities. Maintain the building and area in a cGMP inspection readiness. Perform analysis of water, waste water, boiler, and tower chemistry. Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on utility systems and equipment. Oversees contractor work and assists with engineering projects. Assures all related cGMP documentation is complete and accurate.
Operate, maintain, and repair WFI pumps, water softeners, site glasses, pumps, boilers, de-aereation tank, valves, steam traps and related distribution systems while maintaining the validated state. Operate, maintain, and perform repairs to the WFI equipment used to produce WFI used for cGMP activities. Operate, maintain, and perform repairs on the fire distribution systems in all buildings. You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.
Minimum of three years of experience conducting network analysis in support of attack the network operations - including counter-facilitation.
Minimum of one year of experience providing direct intelligence support to the IA or IC.
