Job Description
We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group is seeking an Engineering Co-op for
our Milwaukee, WI or Green Bay, WI locations. The co-op program is open to
electrical and civil engineering students who are currently enrolled in a university
pursuing a Bachelor's in Engineering. This program gives students the opportunity to
preview the work environment in their field of study and:
Apply classroom learning
Combine engineering science with communications and team building skills
Receive hands-on experience
These openings will have a start date in August/September 2019. As part of the
Electric Distribution Asset Management team, Electrical Engineering co-ops and Civil
engineering co-ops support tasks associated with the overall planning, design,
construction, maintenance and operation of the electric distribution system.
Electrical engineering co-ops will have non-consecutive work assignments in several
areas which may include Materials and Standards, Inspection and Maintenance,
Planning Support, System Protection, or Reliability.
Civil engineering co-ops will support the engineering work group responsible for the
design and analysis of steel, concrete and foundation structures and developing site
plans and storm water drainage plans.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

More About the Role:
While deployed, you will embed with warfighters to assist operational and tactical commanders, their staffs and subordinate units and apply irregular warfare analysis to enhance their effectiveness against threat networks. You will apply irregular warfare analytic expertise and make recommendations for future products, anticipate customer intelligence needs, and explore anomalies, new developments, and trends that could impact or threaten US operational capabilities or intelligence requirements. • Provide recommendations and input to the POA&M during the exercise life cycle for Joint and other USEUCOM, USAFRICOM, USCENTCOM, JCS, COMMARFORCOM, II MEF, and 2d MarDiv directed exercises.
• Review and provide recommendations, and input to the 2d MarDiv G-3 in support of the execution of Joint Exercises in the USEUCOM, USAFRICOM, and USCENTCOM.
• Provide recommendations and input to 2d MarDiv and other USMC planners during the exercise life cycle for Joint and other USAFRICOM, USEUCOM, USCENTCOM, COMMARFORCOM, II MEF, and 2d MarDiv directed exercises to maximize use of resources and efficiency when deploying U.S. Forces within exercise constraints.
• Conduct analysis during all phases of the exercise life cycle (ELC). Includes Transition Briefs, Exercise Quad Charts, Situation Reports, and Exercise After Action Reviews. Reports shall be delivered in Microsoft PowerPoint format. Contractor must also document the assumptions, methodology, results, findings, conclusions, and recommendations regarding their exercise analysis.
• Conduct logistics analysis.
• Review and analyze existing 2d MarDiv operational logistics plans, logistics capabilities, and logistics requirements that support each exercise to include the movement timeline associated with force deployment and retrograde in order to make recommendations on the most efficient use of available personnel, equipment, and air/sea lift resources.
• Conduct analysis on logistics resources; supply and distribution chains; and supply, maintenance, medical and other logistics assets
• Provide recommendations and reports to 2d MarDiv G-3 as required to increase conventional force survivability, reduce vulnerabilities, and conserve resources in support of each asset.
• Reviews and analyzes existing logistics plans, logistics capabilities, and logistics requirements that support each exercise. Reviews each exercise’s movement timeline associated with force deployment and retrograde to make recommendations on the most efficient use of available personnel, equipment, and air/sea lift resources. Details analysis on logistics resources; supply and distribution chains; and supply, maintenance, medical and other logistics assets.
• Participate in and analyze designated events in the exercise life cycle (ELC) to gather data for commander priorities. They include, but are not limited to, participation in Operational Planning Teams utilizing the Marine Corps Planning Process.
• Provide recommendations from the information gained during these engagements that 2d MarDiv and other MAGTF Planners throughout the Marine Corps can utilize to increase their proficiency and reduce vulnerabilities versus known threats and risks to operational priorities.
• Provide analyze and assess current exercise procedures with the endstate of maximizing resource use, gaining efficiencies when deploying U.S. Forces, and streamlining the exercise planning and execution process.

Qualifications
• Education at the career (O-4) level, or higher, from any United States military service school.
• Have at least two years of experience working on a General Officer level staff (U. S. military) specifically in either the current, or future operations section.
• Have training in curriculum development and instructional methods.
• Minimum of three years of experience in providing instruction. Experience at a career (O-4) level military school (U. S. military), or higher, is preferred.

Position Summary:
MSI is building a team of Security Cooperation Assistance (SCA) and Reform Advisers to support the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense – Policy (OUSD-P). This team will support military planners with the achievement of U.S.-led security capacity building efforts worldwide. Goals include 1) establishing and maintaining interoperability with partner nations; 2) fostering cooperation across diplomatic, economic and development interests; 3) assistance with peacekeeping operations; and 4) justice sector reform. MSI’s SCA Advisors will support OUSD-P with initial assessments and theories of change; planning activities across the range of SCA operations; and ultimately leading the implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems to improve U.S. returns on SCA investment. Travel and/or relocation throughout the geographic combatant commands’ area of responsibility and/or the Pentagon will be required. Assignments may be short or long-term. The anticipated start date will likely be late FY 2019.
Responsibilities:
· Support strategic planning activities.
· Develop and implement innovative monitoring and evaluation approaches.
· Recommend courses of action to improve U.S.-funded SCA/reform return on investment.
· Perform support activities in a timely, cost-effective and efficient manner while maintaining excellent quality of service delivery.
· Mobilize to support Geographic Combatant Commands in the development and assessment of Initial Design Documents for SCA/reform initiatives.
· Create and apply lessons learned derived from monitoring and evaluation activities.
Qualifications:
· 10+ years of successful leadership experience within the OUSD-P, Combatant Commands, Defense Security Cooperation Agency, Bureau of Political-Military Affairs, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement, other relevant federal agencies.
· 10+ years as a military planner supporting on one or more of the following programs: FMF, INCLE, ASFF, ISFF, PCCG, CRSP, 1033, 1004, PKO, GSCF, NADAR, CCIF, CTFP, IMET, Section 1206 or other relevant program.
· Expertise of the political, military, economic, social, information and infrastructure comprising the following countries: Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Africa Contingency Operations Training and Assistance countries.
· Master’s degree required (PhD preferred).
· Secret Clearance required (Top Secret preferred).

This PWS provides for contractor support of AFSOC squadron Joint Terminal Attack Control (JTAC) and Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (SUAS) programs by providing JTAC program management, JTAC-Instruction/Evaluation and SUAS program management to AFSOC Special Tactics units. The contractor shall perform JTAC control duties, SUAS pilot and instructor duties, operator maintenance of SUAS, simulator operations, and limited training of Air Force or other joint agency personnel as outlined in this Performance Work Statement, in accordance with pertinent SOCOM, Air Force, AFSOC and squadron directives. All personnel under this PWS are non-deployable to combat zones.

As a JTAC-SEE, conduct initial, recurring, Spot, no notice, and SEE Objectivity evaluations on JTAC trainees, JTACs, JTAC-I’s, and JTAC-SEE’s
When directed, attend conferences, symposiums and meetings to ensure program continuity.
Maintain and update the unit JTAC/SUAS currency tracker monthly.
Implement STG-provided simulator scenarios, and develop and maintain the squadron’s CAS simulator
Provide JTAC, JTAC-I, and JTAC-SEE upgrade and proficiency training in the simulator
Maintain proficiency in simulator operations with the ability to calibrate and operate all assigned simulator equipment and operation of required scenarios.
Participate in virtual and DMO training and exercises as required by squadron.
Provide STG with unit simulator status on a monthly basis.
Readily adapt to and teach Battlefield Air Operations (BAO), JTAC mission equipment, and simulator equipment reconfiguration, upgrade, and modernization.
Operate a wide range of specialized equipment and vehicles to include Highly Mobile Multi- Wheeled Vehicle, BAO equipment, and communications equipment.
Malfunction/Accident/Incident Response.
Provide emergency markings, marshaling, and advisories for evacuation of injured personnel.
Navigate day or night to and from the training area complying with local range procedures.
Conduct limited weather observations as required.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience:
Contractor must have possessed the JTAC-Instructor rating.
Must have a minimum of two years Active Duty, Guard, or Reserve SOF JTAC experience in performance of JTAC duties.
Must possess a SECRET security clearance.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must have working knowledge of the organizational interface of military, local, state, and federal agencies as applicable to required JTAC operations.
Must be familiar with military command and control structures.
Must possess a valid civilian driver’s license and be able to hold a valid military driver’s license for the military vehicle(s) to be operated.
Have the physical capabilities (be able to lift at least a 60 pound box) to perform JTAC duties.
Possess land navigation/map and compass skills sufficient enough to read and locate points of interest and targets etc., using latitude and longitude and Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) coordinates.
The Contractor designated employees must pass an initial drug screening and vendor shall submit drug-testing results as required by the Government. The Government will accomplish random drug testing after award at the Government’s expense.

Overview
Support all aspects of Airborne C2 capabilities, capability gaps, systems integration, and developing JCIDS documents. Assisting with achieving interoperable, affordable, responsive, and sustainable C2 systems which satisfy Service, Joint, Interagency, and Coalition C2 information exchange requirements. Development of C2 investment strategies and providing technical assistance for airborne C2 systems integration planning. Support the generation of operational requirements for acquisition and integration of new or modified airborne C2 capabilities, recommending executable courses of action and providing technical reports, development and coordination of JCIDS documentation and Air Force (AF) Program Objective Memorandum (POM) documentation
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide services to include program management, planning, engineering, technical, and risk reduction support.
* Assist in identification of technical, operational and acquisition factors that impose risk to achieving Airborne C2 integration objectives. Using established techniques, contribute to plans for achieving the goal of an interoperable integrated airborne C2; analyze business processes to accurately characterize capability gaps along with needed capabilities; and identify key performance criteria such as criticality, security, retention, availability, and accessibility.
* Conduct operational feedback, analysis, and technical/operational evaluation of existing and emerging data link concepts and airborne C2 capabilities. These C2 and TDL concepts shall include, track management, correlation, fusion, smart forwarding, and transporting data to/from the tactical edge.
* Employ operational expertise to assist operational users and provide constant liaison between operational users and product centers/program offices. This will include assisting with the development of Advanced TDL concepts and requirements, including capabilities such as the sharing of data between 5th and 4th generation platforms.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, management or other related technical or scientific discipline
* Five (5) years’ experience with C2 system program management (e.g., requirements initiation, test and evaluation, system fielding, operations, logistics and maintenance) processes and procedures; multi-TDL Architecture and multi-TDL Network(s)
* Five (5) years’ in a position requiring analysis and evaluation of operational capabilities and limitations for technical solutions for TDL systems

What You’ll Get to Do:
As a CACI-WGI (The Wexford Group International) SOF Intelligence Integrator, you will provide embedded and reach back support directly to SOF, developing intelligence products while coordinating the support packages provided to meet unit and subordinate element operational requirements. You will assist in developing processes that enhance SOF situational understanding of threat networks employing or facilitating improvised threats (such as IEDs) and enabling DOD, IA and IC efforts focused on dismantling, disrupting, and defeating those networks.
More About the Role:
While deployed, you will embed with SOF to assist operational and tactical commanders, their staffs and subordinate units with fusing operations and intelligence information to enhance their effectiveness against threat networks. You will identify and analyze problems, and generate recommended solutions based upon experience working with elements of the DOD, interagency and international partners. Most deployments are 120 to 180 days in length.
While providing reach back support, you will directly support embedded teammates; answer requests for support from other SOF units; and work closely with a wide variety of SOF units, institutions, and partners. You will assist with pre-deployment training/preparation, conduct professional development within the CACI-WGI SOF Support Team, and mentor new members of the team to ensure they are ready to deploy and succeed.
You will work closely with other members of your team to identify capabilities and vulnerabilities of targeted enemy organizations; identify trends, patterns, and key nodes; and highlight their relationships to the targeted enemy networks.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
· Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.
· Minimum two years’ experience providing analytical support to one or more SOF units or commands.
· Minimum one year of experience in forward deployed locations supporting SOF.
· You must possess the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
· You will be able to provide daily feedback to the team lead on product development.
· Be deployable to the required theater of operations, usually conducting periodic travel within CONUS and four-to-six-month deployments to OCONUS locations.
· Willing to work rotating shifts if needed - that may include nights and weekends.
· Bachelor's degree and more than three years of experience, or an associate's degree and five years of experience, or seven years of work experience. We will also consider candidates with four years of directly relevant experience.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
· More than three years of experience conducting network analysis in support of attack the network operations - including counter-facilitation.
· Experience providing direct analytical support to operations and providing direct analytical and targeting support to deployed SOF elements.
· Deployed in-theater experience assigned to a SOF unit providing intelligence support to tactical and operational SOF.
· Expert understanding of network analysis tools such as Analyst Notebook and Palantir.
· Expert understanding of Intel-related databases such as M3, TAC, NCTC Online, TIDE, ICReach SIGINT database, Cultweave SIGINT database, PROTON SIGINT Database.
