Navy Information Warfare Engineer - San Diego, CA InfoTech Travel ~15% RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide SME support to for Surface Warfare (SUW) • Review SUW requirements and operation documents • Assess mission area capabilities by analyzing Fleet Concepts of Operation (CONOPS) • Provide recommendations on capability gap evaluation, tactical priorities and research requirements and assess mission area readiness • Represent SUW, Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD), Link 16, Electronic Warfare (EW) aspects of war scenarios • Provide SME support for threats and capabilities • Use Modeling and Simulation (M&S) for scenarios REQUIREMENTS: • BS Degree • 8 years Surface Warfare Officer experience • 8 years US Navy operations, installation/integration and/or acquisition / development of Ship Systems (Propulsion, Weapons, Combat Systems / Electronics) • Experience in the following systems: Operations and Integration of Shipboard Combat Systems (AEGIS C&D, ACDS, BMD), Ship Communications / Networks (Tactical Data Links, Link 16, Ship Satellite Systems, HF/UHF/VHF, CANES), Shipboard Radar / Sensors (SPS 48, 49, SPY-1, etc.), and Ship Weapons and Self -Defense Systems. • Experience as Tactical Action Officer (TAO), Ship Self Defense Systems (SSDS), and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW)) • Experience in C4I and Command & Control (C2) tactics / systems such as Global Command Control System (GCSS) and Global Command Support System (GCSS) www.infotechsvp.com We are a San Diego-based company delivering C4I engineering support to NIWC and PEO C4I and IT Systems and Networking services to San Diego businesses.
