WORK LOCATION: Lackland Air Force Base (AFB), TX DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide Training Manager/Administrative Support in accordance with (IAW) all applicable documents • Generate multimedia training aids and presentations for instructors. • Track, maintain, and update training logs, instructor evaluations, and student handouts, note taking guides, course critiques and phase critiques. • Perform pre-trip coordination and planning, post-trip debriefs and after-action reports. • Perform pre-class coordination and planning, post-class debriefs and after-action reports. • Perform tasks in logistics, plans, programs and administration in support of course instruction requirements. • Accompany personnel to the field training locations, Resistance Training, and EL’s. • Prepare lesson plans and training aids, and present academic, laboratory, and operational/field training lessons. • Perform management, training, and instructor certification functions during academic, laboratory and operational/field training. • Provide instruction and logistics support in all aspects of operational/field training and technical training program (i.e. personal protection, sustenance, sanitation and hygiene, navigation, signaling practices, on-base logistics, and operational/field logistics) and provide assistance to the SERE Recruitment Liaison Office (SRLO) program. • Instruct in the use of maps and compasses and have a working knowledge in the area of overland navigation. • Provide their own rations during Field Training evolutions. Transportation to the field training sites will be provided by the Government, however, contractor personnel are authorized to use personal vehicles at their own expense for transportation to the field, if desired and approved by the Det 3, 66 TRS/CC or designee. • An appropriate camouflage uniform, in a pattern matching the Government’s field uniform with an aircrew style name patch (ASNP) will be provided for laboratory and field training operations. While deployed, you will embed with warfighters to assist operational and tactical commanders, their staffs and subordinate units with fusing operations and intelligence information to enhance their effectiveness against threat networks. While providing reach back support, you will directly support embedded teammates; answer requests for support from other tactical units; and work closely with a wide variety of units, institutions, and partners.
