You will support our Special Operations Communications Systems (SOCS) program.This role will oversee the maintenance of all equipment vital to the success of the SOCS mission. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2008 standards, to include the use of Quality Control Checklists and applicable documented processes. Ensure accurate and timely communication to Maintenance Section personnel of essential information impacting the operation, maintenance, and support of all SOCS systems. Maintain accountability of all tools, equipment, and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) utilized by Maintenance Section personnel, and I&M FM is notified and gives proper approval of any serial numbered GFE that leave the Maintenance Section. Maintain system folders for all SOCS systems refurbished and maintained by the Maintenance Section. Ensure joint inventory of every shipment of equipment that comes into, or leaves, the Maintenance Section, and coordination of these joint inventories occurs in a timely manner to expedite all Maintenance taskings. Ensure published timelines for all Maintenance Section taskings are met or exceeded. Keep the I&M FM and the appropriate PJM informed of any issue(s) that jeopardize and/or affect these timelines as soon as possible. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by assigning cleaning and organizational tasks to personnel in support of the 6-S program. Identify necessary equipment and process all unneeded equipment through the SOCS2 GFE Representative for Defense Logistics Agency-Disposition Services (DLA-DS) disposal. Ensure the timely submission of Local Material Requests (LMR), Satellite Access Requests (SAR), Technical Acceptance from Government Subject Matter Experts (SME), joint inventories, and any other necessary support required to support tasking timelines. Verify that all equipment undergoing refurbishment and deconfiguration is in compliance with the Version Description Document (VDD) published by our government customer, and upgrade software/firmware or submit a Change Request Form (CRF) when versions are not in compliance with the VDD. Know your space requirements for each tasking and work out any space issues before the start of each project. Ensure you and your employees are knowledgeable of, and maintain compliance with, all applicable CACI policies and guidelines. Submission of a Weekly Activity Report to the Function Manager by close of business Monday. Maitain communication consistently for any directives, taskings, and guidance from SOCS2 Project Managers (PJMs) and/or the I&M FM. Respond to this direction by asking questions to clarify the mission, reporting status of any issues that affect the mission, and keeping the PJMs and I&M FM aware of mission progress.
