4. Aviation Facility Manager (Iraq)

FUNCTION

This position is accountable for providing optimal customer relations and operations and maintenance management for the assigned airport terminal and support structures in a cost-effective manner. Also responsible for contract gross profit redemption and continuous renewals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures optimal customer relations by maintaining constant communications with customer. Provides high quality operations and maintenance service to assure proper performance of engineered equipment and building systems.

• Acts as primary liaison with all customer departments, actively ensuring that service is prompt, responsive, effective and that inter- departmental concerns are addressed and resolved.

• Provides regular monthly written status reports to customer and LFS management. Presents ad hoc status reports as necessary to keep customer management conversant with atypical occurrences, unusual staffing challenges, potential building related interruptions, etc.

• Prepares, recommends and administers with assistance from International Division staff, the annual facility budget. Reports exceptions to supervisor and adjusts budget as necessary.

• Complies with customer and LFS corporate policies (personnel, accounting, technical service, safety and health, ethical conduct, etc.) communicates to subordinates and ensures subordinate compliance.

• Ensures that federal, state and local regulatory requirements are met including DER, OSHA, FLSA, EEO, ADA, etc.

• Schedules and coordinates over-all work priorities.

• Recommends what work should be performed in-house and what work should be subcontracted; consults with LFS corporate and/or external technical resources when making decisions on major changes.

• Ensures that reactive and preventive maintenance activities are appropriately balanced; monitors current and deferred maintenance backlogs; adjusts priorities and/or resources as needed and ensures that deferred maintenance is adequately documented.

• Utilizes maximum capabilities of Maximo or customer work order control system.

• Develops and/or approves facility quality standards.

• Reviews completed work regularly and ensures that quality standards are met or exceeded to the satisfaction of the customer.


• Negotiates major service contracts (e.g. window washing, janitorial, landscaping, etc.); reviews and approves smaller service contracts delegated to subordinates; consults with corporate technical and other staff as appropriate.

• Monitors service contracts to ensure compliance, addresses and resolves contract disputes

• Develops and negotiates minor construction contracts as assigned.

• Manages purchasing program; approves major purchases; audits purchasing delegated to subordinates.

• Designs and implements administrative systems where LFS or customer standard systems do not exist or must be extensively modified.

• Ensures through subordinate managers that staff receives adequate technical, administrative and other training; participates in training of direct subordinates and supervisors.

• Monitors staff overtime and absenteeism against Linc standards and implements corrective measures as necessary when either exceeds acceptable standards.

• Manages staff in accordance with LFS employee relations philosophy and policies; hires, terminates, recommends salary changes, conducts performance appraisals, counsels and disciplines as necessary; communicates and administers LFS personnel policies.

• If applicable, ensures that labor contract requirements are met; makes routine contract interpretations as required; and maintains a harmonious working relationship with union representatives. Organizes and participates in facility audit activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or comparable experience required; Certified Facility Manager or Real Property Administrator certifications desirable for specific assignments.

• Experience in Aviation Industry is preferred

• Demonstrated customer service orientation and skills.

• Experienced in preparing and administering operating budgets.

• Working knowledge of two or more of the mechanical, electrical, general building maintenance, building construction or electronics crafts. Where there is not a working knowledge, a demonstrated aptitude is required.

• Demonstrated expertise in verbal and written communications.

• Demonstrated willingness to work non-standard days and hours as required.

Job Functions:
Provides accurate medical transcription service in accordance with standards set in the Medical
Transcription Industry Alliance and in compliance with all security requirements for safeguarding
patient information and prevention of Privacy Act violations. This position reports to the
Supervisor of Transcription. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm with
periodic overtime anticipated.
The specific duties of this position are:
• Provide transcription of outpatient and ambulatory surgery related dictation as well as
Radiological and Pathology data.
• Ensure completed transcription is medically consistent and accurate in content. The
Transcriptionists shall review dictation for accuracy and meaning to ensure that dictated
test results are consistent with associated patient symptoms or diagnoses.
• Call the originator of the dictation regarding clarification of dictation or questions
regarding specific issues.
• Obtain complete patient data that may involve researching the patient information or
contacting the originator.
• Creating, maintain, and dispose of Government records per Air Force Instructions.
• Treat patient lists as privileged information. Lists and/or names of patients shall not be
disclosed to or revealed in any way for any use outside the MTF without prior written
permission by the Hospitalist, 10th Medical Group.
• Release medical information obtained during the course of this contract only to other
MTF staff involved in the care and treatment of that individual.
• Maintain open and professional communication with members of the MTF.
• Complete the applicable reports/forms by following the instructions on the forms or
provided by the MTF.
• Meet short-notice suspense as established by the organization.
• Ensure a safe work environment and employee safe work habits.

Qualifications:
The Transcriptionist must have a basic knowledge of computers with the ability to type 1,000 lines
per day. The Transcriptionist will use approved Department of Defense medical information
systems on a daily basis. Knowledge of the Dictaphone Enterprise Express dictation/transcription
system is preferred. Knowledge of patient medical records and knowledge of medical terminology
to interpret provider intent are preferred
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
The Transcriptionist shall read, understand, speak, and write English fluently and shall be a

Contractor support will maintain, redevelop and re-platform various legacy applications databases on SQL and Oracle 9i/10g. New or rewritten applications will be embedded into respective environments. The Contractor will coordinate database administration work with the existing application support team where applicable.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (duties and responsibilities and percentage of time spent performing functions).
1. Administer, maintain, redevelop, and re-platform existing databases currently using Oracle versions 10g and earlier, and Microsoft SQL.
2. Design, create and monitor SQL server jobs, SSIS packages, stored procedures, scheduled tasks, audit logs, and other database processes/workflows.
3. Monitor and administer SQL server backup and recovery plans.
4. Maintain functional structure of legacy systems.
5. Perform routine and periodic database maintenance.
6. Perform acceptance and testing for platform and system upgrades and application software upgrades.
7. Support technical issues arising from ORACLE 9i/10g (11g/11i when customer is ready to upgrade) and current version of SQL systems.
8. Establish and maintain database security.
9. Provide documentation, support and certification to meet FDA compliance as required.

1. Expertise and assistance on general database issues and functionality, as they apply to the system

Essential Job Functions:

hammer, nailing machine or power stapler. Repairs defective containers by replacing damaged
parts, and/or fabricate containers from wood and fiberboard including pallets, Dunn age and
restraints. Inserts wood bracing’s, cardboard files and felt pads in containers. Builds crates around
objects using ruler, hand tools and pneumatic nailer, and ensures items are properly preserved,
packaged and do not require further protection before shipping.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent. Must have a working knowledge of various power saws and
basic woodworking principles. Should have two-year woodworking experience and knowledge of
packaging and preservation principles and techniques. Must posses or be able to obtain a forklift
license. Must have HAZMAT processing working knowledge and must obtain Company and/or
Government provided HAZMAT certification. Eligibility for DoD security clearance.
