Fixed Site/Tactical Movement/Convoy Protection Trainer

Background Information:
The Counter IED Mobile Training Teams (MTT) contract provides the necessary personnel, materials, services, and functional support to field Counter IED MTTs that will train non-BCT Combat Support / Combat Service Support units. The MTTs will provide these units, which do not take part in a BCT pre-deployment training MRE/CTC, training support for their execution of IED tasks at their capstone collective training event prior to deployment. The trainers will coach/mentor unit leaders and provide them feedback on how they execute individual, leader, collective, and battle staff Counter IED tasks during their collective training event prior to deployment.

Job Duties:
Work as a member of a 4-person team overseeing conduct of fixed site defense and check point operations training for the MTT. Responsible for training, teaching, coaching, mentoring platoon and squad/section level non-commissioned offers on execution of Counter IED tasks while executing tactical movement operations. Prepare input to MTT's oral and written after action reviews (AARs) and take-home packages for unit leaders.

Requirements:
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or 10 additional years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education
• Secret level security clearance
• Solid background in unit training
• Counter IED experience

Overview:

Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree required with minimum 8 years of related work experience. Bachelor's degree requirement can be waived with 12 years related work experience.

Avanti Placements is seeking a senior-level Program Manager for an overseas contract with a global Strategic Communications Consulting company. The Program Manager (PM) will be the primary point-of-contact for the customer in Afghanistan and is responsible for daily operations and contract activities, program administration, customer relationship management, and successful contract performance.

Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have be highly proficient in the use of Internet software; spreadsheet software and word processing software.
Proven track record of writing and editing winning proposals for various types of multimillion dollar government contracts.
Minimum of seven years of experience performing technical writing, editing, and/or marketing/sales writing.
At least five years of experience directing all aspects of technical writing, document control and editing for government contracts. Successful track record working in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines.
