7. Liaison Officer/Planner (LNO/P)(Afghan)
Position Summary:

Based in Afghanistan, the Liaison Officer / Planner (LNO/P) will be responsible for conducting liaison and planning/coordination of Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) operations for the Combined Forces Special Operations Component Command (CFSOCC) in Afghanistan. The LNO/P will represent the client, the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) and its interests when dealing with the CFSOCC. The LNO/P will work collaboratively with the client and other stakeholders of the USG and the international community during the planning and operational phases of C-IED efforts for CFSOCC. He will effectively integrate with the client's command and/or operational elements by conducting project related operational planning, coordination and deconfliction with all relevant. He will maintain constant communication with in-country leadership and will provide up-to-date information regarding project activities and client expectations on a daily, or more frequently as required, basis. The LNO/P will also advise the NEK staff on considerations regarding current and future operations. The LNO/P will gather and disseminate all information pertinent to the related project. He will form strategic links with all participating parties to improve client relations and will also address all reporting requirements set by the client to include all report production requirements as designated, in support of the completion of all project metrics and contract deliverables. The LNO/P will maintain the highest degree of Operational Security (OPSEC) to include confidentiality of information pertaining to clients, staff and the organization and will provide the highest standard of service delivery to clients, ensuring best practice principles and practices IAW NEK training/guidance.



Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field;

- Possess a minimum of five years of Special Operations experience;

- Experience working in Afghanistan;

- Military operational planning experience;

- Experience at a US Army Special Forces B Team; SOTF; JSTOF or CFSOCC level of operation

- Highest level of maturity, integrity, and professional expertise. Proven leadership, management, and negotiation skills;

- Within Afghanistan, capable of establishing a network of contacts in the USG, Coalition, Multilateral, and Host Nation stabilization and community development community, and to use these to the fullest advantage to best benefit the Creative team and the client;

- Ability to fit into a tight-knit team, and to deal with the sensitivities of working with people of different backgrounds and skill sets;

- Ability to make decisions based on calculated reasoning, good intelligence and thorough planning;

- Ability to communicate effectively and influence others;

- Ability to function effectively in austere environments;

- Intermediate knowledge of personal computer operation and use of basic business computer tools;

- Recent weapons qualification;

- Active DoD SECRET level security clearance;

- Fluency in English.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
-Proficiency in Dari or Pashto is desirable but not required.

8. J2TAC is bidding on a contract to provide surveillance teams for a military training program in the WDC and Baltimore area. The teams target students undergoing training and assess their ability to detect surveillance and their reactions. The contract is a one year base plus three options and the work if fairly steady nine months of the year – it would be essentially a full time gig with plenty of time off between courses.

We are looking for former operators in the community who are willing to travel during course sessions. Competitive pay with benefits and travel expenses are covered. ASOT graduates / former instructors will be considered a plus as will former INTAC instructors. Currently not requiring security clearances.

NEK is seeking qualified individuals to provide curriculum development support for a customer at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Qualified individuals will have extensive SOF/UW doctrine development experience and/or extensive SOF/UW operational experience to include over 10 years of active service in SOF units. 10. Imagery Analysts (OCONUS)

Jorge Scientific Corporation is doing some exciting work supporting our nations global war on terrorism. We currently have a need for an Imagery Analyst to provide analysis support of near full motion video to OEF.

Imagery Analyst must have an imagery analysis and/or geospatial analysis background. IA/GA must have a minimum of seven (7) years' experience involving the use or analysis of imagery-derived intelligence; three (3) of those years must include imagery analysis. Geographic information system (GIS) experience is also highly recommended.

GENERAL DUIES AND EXPERIENCE

Must be able to interpret near full motion video by forward- and back-tracking vehicles, determine patterns of life, make correlations between events and vehicles, and create intelligence products via MS PowerPoint, post products to a dedicated web server, enter products as a shape file into an ArcGIS geo-database, and provide written analysis to accompany vehicle tracks.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED

Ability to work with ArcGIS, FalconView, MS Office suite, access data from the CIDNE web database, maintain an event track log in ArcGIS, and meet all RFI due dates.
Must be proficient with standard MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Must have experience in one or more of the following: C2PC, Analyst Notebook, FalconView, M3, Orion Magic, ArcGIS, ArcView, and PathFinder.

EDUCATION:
BS degree not required but preferred ; may substitute primary experience for education requirement

EXPERIENCE
Must have a minimum of Seven (7) years' relevant experience.
• Experience and/or expertise in link analysis, message traffic analysis, and trend analysis.
