Position Description Software Test Engineer responsible for providing test control support for integration and test activities relating to the Command and Control / Battle Management / Communications (C2BMC), a missile defense battle management system being integrated on the JRDC program at Schriever AFB, CO. Test Control activities focus on the configuration and operation of a wide range of test stimulus and monitoring tools, to include a major Linux-based simulation system and various tactical message injection and monitoring systems (both Windows and UNIX based). Activity also includes the development of software libraries and tools to support message recording, playback and data manipulation. The test control position is required to support periodic after-hours and/or weekend events as dictated by a team rotating schedule.
Desired Skills / Experience • Experience with ballistic missile defense operations and interconnectivity; theater, midcourse, and terminal missile defense, and war gaming laboratories and interfaces.
• Knowledge of strategic and theater missile defense weapon systems, sensor systems, tactical communications, and BMC2/Comm environments.

Proteus Solutions / TechStart has teamed with a proposal writing company that has extensive expertise in the air and ground military arenas, but is now looking to expand their presence the space sector. They have been approached by space system-focused primes to support capture efforts for future space system contracts. Due to our ten years of experience in this market, the proposal company has asked Proteus Solutions / TechStart to lead the recruitment of space system experts.
As a SME, if selected for a proposal team, each individual would work during the multi-week effort without commitment to signing onto the contract when the prime wins. On the other hand, if the SMEs that work on the proposal are interested, they can ask to be on the team that executes the contract.
In other words, anyone selected for a proposal writing team could earn money on the front end AND on the back end of the activity. [The determination of which SME(s)—if any—will be brought onto the contract will be made by the customer (prime).]

• Handle incoming and outgoing shipments for various types of laboratory material and equipment, to include packages transported to and from IRAQ
• Assist the Chief of Logistics/ Property Book Officer, Equipment Managers, and Biomedical Technicians in the performance of maintaining property accountability, medical supply operations, and administrative functions
• Maintain accountability documentation for property and medical supply management utilizing the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) System
• Perform supply functions related to logistics, to include purchasing a variety of products to assist scientists and support staff
• Assist with the shipping and receiving accounts (FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc.) for the Logistics Division
• Assist with clothing records and related functions
• Assist with the Quality control register for all messages received and disseminate the messages within the organization, as required

MANAGER QUALITY ASSURANCE- FT. Bliss #34380

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Quality Manager will be to provide specialized technical expertise in support of the Quality program, including specialized inspection and testing techniques, quality training, statistical methods, audits, quality tools for problem solving and assessment.


DUTIES
o Creates inspection reports stating the conditions of a work area to ensure requirements are met.
o Makes recommendations for corrective action.
o Applies knowledge of quality systems and tools to validate and verify contractually required standards for project execution. Implements principles of performance evaluation and prediction methods are used to improve product systems safety, reliability, and maintainability.
o Responsible for maintaining quality standard of products and the procedures and materials that go into work scope.
o Aligns quality management function with the performance needs of product lines.
o Under general direction, is accountable for the performance and results of a related discipline or sub-group within a function.
o Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to team members.
o Participates in the development of functional strategy and may be responsible for global processes and procedures.


REQUIREMENTS.
o Ability to gain cooperation and coordinate the work of others.
o Skilled in written and oral presentations.
o Capability to adjust work operations to meet emergency or changing program or production requirements within available resources and with minimum sacrifice to quantity and quality of work.
o Ability to establish program objectives or performance goals and assess progress.Ability to analyze organizational and operational problems and develop timely and economical solutions.
o Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of commands and DOD counterparts.
o Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 9+ years of experience.
o Lean Six Sigma certification preferred but not required.
