1. Dynamic Social Networks Analyst (Tampa, FL)


Jorge Scientific Corporation is doing some exciting work supporting the US Military in meeting DoD program requirements. We currently have openings for a Dynamic Social Networks Analyst to develop statistical tools, simulation models and other mechanisms for analysis of large, multi-mode, multiplex networks for SOCCENT in Tampa, Florida.


In this role you will produce detailed cultural profiles, battle space operations reports, trend analysis, threat forecasts, targeting folders, cultural engagement plans, and policy recommendations.




Responsibilities:

• Conduct full-spectrum all-source research to support and facilitate analytical activities
• Support development of innovative tactics, techniques and practices (TTP) integrating best-practice military, intelligence and law-enforcement methods
• Assess cultural, social, economic, historical and other relevant geopolitical factors impacting identified region(s) of interest
• Identify and analyze issues, entities and factors that contribute to social and cultural development and operation within a defined AOR
• Provide on-site analysis and support for strategic, operational and tactical planning activities
• Develop metrics and statistical methods for assessing and identifying change within and across social and cultural networks
• Analyze and report on network change, evolution, adaptation and decay
• Identify and analyze changes in node criticality
• Employ expertise to develop predictive analysis of primary, secondary and tertiary intended and unintended consequences of planned and ongoing effects-based operations
• Demonstrate and communicate advanced understanding of social and cultural factors to predict adversary trends and patterns, and develop Course of Action (COA) and Concept of Operations (CONOPS) recommendations
• Employ social and cultural elements and influences to deter, mitigate and defeat adversary networks
• Develop tools and methods combining spatial, temporal, relational and cultural knowledge discovery and modeling to identify and predict trends, patters and future COA for exploiting social networks
• Identify and streamline data requirements integral to Dynamic Social Network Analysis
• Prepare written and visual media including charts, graphs and finished reporting to communicate and integrate analytical information and conclusions
• Employ professional associations to develop liaison and support networks for advancement of programmatic objectives
Requirements
Education:

• Minimum: Bachelor's degree in anthropology, sociology, behavioral science or related field
• Advanced degree may be substituted for experience requirements
• Advanced foreign language skills preferred



Experience:

• 10+ years professional experience in anthropological and behavior science
• U.S. citizenship, current U.S. passport and current DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)
• Advanced oral and written communications skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of interplay of geographical, political, economic, military and industrial forces
• Proficiency with classified and open-source IT systems and software, including IC databases, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.

In this role you will apply ORSA techniques designed to test and evaluate research and development aspects of the project in order to provide decision support tools and analysis grounded in objective ORSA techniques, which provides decision makers with a quantitative basis for the evaluation of decision options.




Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine effectiveness of project methodology and the application of irregular warfare capabilities.
• Identify, develop, and analyze measures and metrics to gauge progress in the irregular warfare /asymmetric operating environment.
• Develop, administer and analyze surveys that gather commander and staff ideas and insights on the irregular warfare/asymmetric operating environment.
• Support COA analysis and operations planning in the application of capabilities to defeat irregular / asymmetric threats.
• Conduct analysis in support of operations across staff elements and deployed forces
• Conduct analysis to support the decision-making process across all elements of the staff. Types of analysis include, but not limited to: trend identification and analysis that enables the commander and staff to define the characteristics of the irregular threat; resource allocation and optimization; and scheduling.
• Assist in defining the optimal use of SOF and GPF assets to defeat irregular/ asymmetric threats.
• Support Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Battlespace (JIPB).
• Serve as Commander's advisor on analysis to support decision needs.
• Manage, analyze and depict data using statistical, geospatial, spreadsheet and presentation software. Develop customized tools for staff element.
• Provide analytical tools, software development and system engineering support to ensure interoperability and integration of emerging irregular / asymmetric technologies, tactics, techniques and procedures.
Requirements
Education:
• BS degree in an ORSAA related discipline or completion of an equivalent course to the U.S. Army's ORSA Military applications course desired.

Experience:

• 10 plus years of experience in increasingly responsible positions applying technical operations research techniques to solutions of military issues.

Responsibilities:

- Establish action items in the clients Action Tracker. This includes archiving actions covered through other forums, refining the language of actions to ensure they identify the action and closure criterion, completing the information (e.g., due dates) for the actions, develop a crosswalk to document the archiving of actions, and communicate the final list of actions to the clients.
- Follow the established process for establishing new actions, updating existing actions, and closing actions.
- Work with client Engagement to finalize the format and process for the client Action Tracker spreadsheet.
- Coordinate with the PMO organizations and clients to facilitate action item completion.

Provide input to the Government Lead for the bi-weekly action item report at Super Tuesday.
Participate in informational meetings and decision-making forums for topic-specific discussions on an ad hoc basis

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business-related field, communications, organizational change management, engineering-related field, or information technology (IT)-related field is required
• Previous experience in support of a large systems engineering and systems integration effort is desired
• Strong verbal and written communications skills to enable effective interaction with Government and contractor leaders, managers and technical personnel with diplomacy, tact, and professionalism is required
• Demonstrated capability to prioritize, plan, and execute work tasks in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment with Team Lead supervision and direction is required

Position Summary
Serves as the overall in-country manager responsible for the identification, development, implementation, and management of the organization's security program.


Position Responsibilities
* Responsible to the Contracting Officer's Representative and/or Regional Security Officer for all task order specific performance issues
* Oversees the development of an effective strategy to mitigate risk and maintain continuity of operations in accordance with the requirements specified in the task order

* Coordinates with the CONUS and OCONUS Managers in developing professional relationships with OCONUS Personnel including, but not limited to; Embassy personnel, RSO and RSO staff, private security personnel working for other government agencies, diplomatic personnel, and foreign security personnel.
* Coordinates with the OCONUS Project Managers and Deputy Project Managers in implementing operational strategies that will ensure protection for high profile subjects
* Ensures timely and accurate reporting, as outlined in the Task Order and in this contract
* Coordinates with the LPM in ensuring that the personnel working under the task order are approved for any position they will be filling
* Ensures that contractor provided personnel are properly vetted for their positions and that leadership personnel are executing their responsibilities efficiently and effectively. * Coordinates with the LPM in ensuring that all necessary contractor support of protective security details under the task order is planned, provided, and maintained to allow protective security details to perform without a decrease in required performance
* On-time delivery of protective security detail support
* Provision of adequate off-duty needs of protective security personnel (housing, meals, and activities) to enable personnel to perform detail assignments without distraction.
* Ensuring proper behavior of all contractor-provided personnel, whether on or off duty.


Essential Skills and Experience

Operations Planner


Jorge Scientific Corporation is doing some exciting work supporting the US Military in meeting DoD program requirements. We currently have openings for Operations Planners to serve the military user in the capacity of a highly trained joint Operations Planner specializing in the development and implementation of national strategic plans and policies; theater strategy and campaign planning along with the evolution of concepts and doctrine for employing military forces at the tactical, operational and strategic levels of warfare.


Responsibilities:

• Provide assessments and recommendations to senior military and civilian decision makers (e.g., unified commanders, Special Operations Forces (SOF) and General
• Purpose Forces (GPF) leadership, senior DoD and governmental officials engaged in national security tasking).
• Formulate departmental, DoD, and USG positions on national security policy and national military strategy.
• Prepare or contribute to key policy documents (e.g., Presidential Decision Directives, National Security Strategy, the Defense Planning Guidance, Quadrennial Defense Review and Geographic Combatant Command deliberate plans)
• Relate national security and national military strategies to SOF, GPF, joint and multinational force requirements.
• Develop operational and strategic level SOF and joint GPF war fighting concepts and doctrine.
• Assist in strategy development, plans integration and interagency collaboration to facilitate the application of DoD irregular warfare strategies in support of USG objectives.
Requirements
Education:
• BS degree required.
• Advanced degree may be substituted for experience requirements.

Experience:

• Seven plus years of relevant policy experience in defense intelligence policy planning and analysis.
• U.S. citizenship, current U.S. passport and current DoD Top Secret / SCI security clearance based on Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)
• Comprehensive understanding of Special Operations Force (SOF) doctrine and application within the Joint Interagency Intergovernmental and multinational environment.
• Advanced understanding of Joint Operational Planning and Execution System (JOPES).
• Experience within the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, Regional Combatant Command staffs, multinational staffs, various staffs and interagency working groups in the government where they support the formulation and implementation of national security strategy and national defense strategy.
• Extensive knowledge and demonstrable ability to analyze or implement defense policies involving strategy, doctrine, operations, tactics, systems or organization.
• Excellent oral, written and analytic communications skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Set project standards, monitor progress, communicate interim and final results to policy-making audience.

Position Description Responsible for all duties related to SAP level systems and networks located as USSTRATCOM. Serve as the Information Systems Network Management for projects relative to information systems, network architecture, cryptographic devices and communications infrastructure. Interact with multiple external agencies for Information Technology (IT) support, planning and project engineering in support of systems upgrades and new network installations.
Develop, implement, and coordinate activities designed to protect and ensure availability of SAP network services. Ensure the integrity of all IT components and supported data through analysis of information systems security profiles, programs, policies, procedures and tools. Monitors and evaluates systems compliance with IT security requirements. Formulate policies and guidance based on assessment of requirements not addressed in existing security directives and operations. Provide technical assistance in support all assigned network assets and users. Principle advisor to address IT related matters to include network engineering, management, security, accreditation, policies and procedures.
Specific Requirements • A+ and SECURITY + certifications as a minimum.
• Must have a minimum of five years IT experience and possess computer technical knowledge, computer operating system administration training, understand how security programs are administered and implemented, and how they overlap and complement each other.
• Possession of a Certified Information Systems Security Professional CCISSP) certification is highly desirable.
