SOC is seeking a Veterinarian or Vet Tech to work with EOD Dogs on a Static site in Iraq! Military a PLUS!!!!! Fly to training on 06 MAR. *** Pay is 114K-120K + benefits. Veterinarian in charge of the health and welfare of SOC Civilian EOD working Dogs in Iraq. Responsible to conduct annual health exams, administer necessary vaccinations, and treat the animals for emergency conditions. Inspects and documents the health of each animal. Must travel throughout Iraq to other site locations to perform these exams and vaccinations on other SOC Dogs. Inspect kennels to ensure they meet the requirements to maintain a healthy environment for the animals and make suggestions to improve the kennels. • Maintain Health Certificates on all EOD working dogs for inspection
• Must have at least 2 years in Veterinary Care

The Training Consultant will also assist employed units by conducting research on operational use and maintenance support of unknown equipment found on TPE, and provide additional training, as requested. The Training Consultant will in essence become a combat multiplier to the deployed unit(s) by leveraging Army resources to solve problems of new equipment and being a source of information to address issues quickly.

Knowledge/Ability: The successful candidate must understand the Army Training System, and have the ability to critically analyze current and emerging technologies and synthesize the analysis in such a way as to develop SME level proficiency. The successful candidate should also have experience training soldiers on current and new equipment. Working with vendors in developing training solutions is a strong plus.

Skills: Key skill factor of this job is excellent communication skills. And the ability to rapidly assemble data into a useable form for training, providing relevant unit SME support, as required.

Education: Must have an associate’s degree in: management; business; engineering; math; or scientific field, or 15 years of military experience can be substituted for education.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs general human resources functions necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of assigned tasks on our Middle East Operations projects. MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:

Conducts site visits within theatre for employee/management training, development and conduct investigations related to employee complaints/grievances.

A minimum of five years experience working with shipboard electronic and mechanical test equipment, applying engineering principles and measurement science to calibration and metrology systems, including electronic theory for DC through RF and Microwave and mechanical theory for Pressure, Temperature, and Linear Measurement areas is required. A minimum of 8 years progressive experience from basic knowledge to positions requiring extensive knowledge and skills in project management. Expertise in TMDE; Metrology and Calibration; NAVSEA policies and procedures. Knowledge and understanding of: Calibration and Maintenance Requirements Summary (CMRS) evaluation; Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and scheduling program; Sub-Category (SCAT) definitions and performance specifications; electronic and mechanical instrument technologies, obsolescence replacement and standardization protocols; Automated Test Equipment (ATE); Mechanical Test Instruments (MTIs); Prime Systems preventive and corrective maintenance requirements. Test Equipment and Instrumentation Technicians
