Previously identified as Corps Support Teams (CSTs) and Division-Marine Expeditionary Force Support Teams (DST, MSTs), C-IED analytical support capabilities enable JIEDDO to provide C-IED operations, intelligence, ORSA, and information technology (IT) experts capable of employing advanced tools for C-TED information collection and analysis to enhance the ability of deployed forces to attack enemy networks which employ or facilitate the use of IEDs. Each team operates from a suite of JIEDDO-supplied computer and communications equipment at the unit location in theater which is further federated to various unit, inter-agency, and other DOD locations – CONUS, OCONUS. This C-IED Operations Integration Center (COIC) platform employs a broad array of analytical tools, computer hardware, and communications capabilities supported by operations, intelligence, ORSA and IT subject matter experts assigned to a an analytical support team, which enables collaboration across the federation and connectivity to various components for analytical support. These teams can consist of military Team Leaders, IT Support Integrators, Intelligence Integrators, Operations Integrators, and Operations Research/Systems Analysis (ORSA) Integrators. The composition of each analytical team is unique dependent upon the mission and requirements of the supported Commander. Intelligence members provide All-Source, MINT, HUMINT, MASINT, GMT', and. Geo-Spatial Analysis capabilities. The JIEDDO COIC CONOP requires that, for each deployed subject matter expert, there will be two like subject matter experts working from the COIC, performing analytical and training reach-back tasks in support and the pre-deployment training support activities for follow on units. While functioning in CONUS providing reach back support, the members work within Comprehensive Look Teams (CLTs), which focus on specific geographic locations or missions and integrate, fuse and produce operational C-IED analysis to respond to Requests for Support (RFSs) from deployed forces. A typical RFS would seek to understand the potential for IED activity within a specific region. The intent is for members to work in CLTs then deploy to support units who are operating in the same geographic location they supported while providing reach back support. Under this task order, the COIC is evolving to a combination of deployed C-TED analytical support tailored to theater requirements and CONUS-based C-IED analytical support providing reach back analytical support requirements. The CONUS and OCONUS analytical elements (operations, intelligence, operations research) together are referred to as the JIEDDO COIC Analytical. Support Team (JCAST).

The folks we need in support of this mission are All-Source, HUMINT, GEOINT, IMINT, Operations, ORSA, GMTI, etc.

Please feel free to pass my info along to others and call me directly with any and all questions.
