Responsibilities
• Candidate is expected to have an in depth knowledge of the construction of wireless sites and has worked on rooftop and tower sites
• Required to have tower climbing experience and training such as competent person rescue course riggers, or equivalent.
• Responsible for scheduling and organizing a workforce of Riggers on a daily basis
• Understanding of wireless construction methods such as a repelling on the side of a building, installing cable tray and conduits, antenna mounts, tower steel, pinwheels, antenna installs, transmission lines, elliptical cable and various wireless build requirements
• Experience in stacking monopoles, building lattice towers, installing pinwheels and heavy duty tower construction.
• Basic RF understanding of bend radius and guidelines to installing and clipping coax cables.
• Ensures all the Riggers are utilizing the proper inspection and personal safety equipment
Requirements
• Direct field experience with microwave antennas.
• Proven experience leading and managing a crew
• Able to identify and select cables, ropes, blocks, and tackle by weight and size of load to be moved
• Able to perform plumb and tension technique
• Familiar with Ginpole use as evidenced by recent experience
• Successful completion of Safety in rigging course.
• Working knowledge in fall protection practice and procedures and tower life saving techniques.
• A holder of a valid Comtrain or Gravitec certificate is preferred.
• Completion of OSHA 10 Hour Course will be required prior to beginning work.
• First Aid training and a valid Drivers license an asset
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.

•Willing to travel across California as required.
