JIEDDO was established as a Deputy Secretary of Defense directed initiative
with the mission to rapidly provide solutions to defeat the enemy's IED
campaign, thus saving lives of service members deployed fighting insurgent
networks that employ IEDs as a strategic weapon of choice. The JIEDDO
Counter-IED Operations Integration Centers (COIC) was established to
innovatively harness and mass information, analysis, and technology to
empower the war fighter with the insight needed to predict, preempt, and
defeat IEDs and other asymmetric threats.
Serve as the Islamic Religion Analyst for the Joint IED Defeat Organization
(JIEDDO) in Northern Virginia. The JIEDDO Counter IED Operations and
Integration Center (COIC) is focused on neutralizing the ability of IED
networks and their threat against Coalition Forces throughout the CENTCOM
AOR. This analyst must work as a team member and be able to both lead and
play a role as a subordinate team member. This is a small team of highly
competitive individuals working in a fast paced, red teaming environment.
Analyst will provide Open Source and classified research and analytical
support to the JIEDDO-COIC Directed Studies Team (DST) through identifying
and assessing trends which impact Counter-IED efforts, develop findings and
recommendations, and organizing conclusions into briefing slides, video
productions, and other written products. A particular focus is threat
emulation at the tactical and operational level. The Analyst will serve as
a subject Matter Expert (SME) on general cultural and/ or anthropological
issues, Islam, and the Middle East. Will conduct English language oral and
written product development (including hardcopy, electronic, and multimedia
material). Apply in-depth knowledge of the target culture and functional
areas to identify emerging substantive issues within the focus AOR and
succinctly communicate their findings to senior contract and government
personnel as part of a team. Generate open-source and classified assessment,
special studies, and threat emulation/role playing in order to provide
unique insights and actionable responses to tactical, cultural, political,
economic, and social trends potentially affecting Counter-IED operations
within the AOR.
BACKGROUND
- BA/BS (preferably in regional studies, social science, anthropology, or
related discipline) and/or equivalent formal military training and 15 years
of experience
- Expert level proficiency in Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Urdu, or Persian/Farsi

The candidate will have 20 or more years as a senior officer in the Armed Forces with extensive experience in managing training programs. Senior level command and experience in the planning, programming and execution of Live, Virtual, Constructive and Gaming training devices in an Integrated Training Environment is particularly desirable. A Masters Degree is desired. Successful completion of Command and General Staff level education is required, and a Senior Service College graduate is preferred. Description of Duties:
The PEO STRI FSR is the on-site representative of Program Executive Officer (PEO) (SES) and provides the single point of contact between the training leadership at the FORSCOM command and the PEO STRI leadership team for issues related to the command’s satisfaction with PEO STRI products and services.
The FSR is an expert in PEO STRI’s products and services and the command’s training needs; performs multi-faceted assignments requiring the analysis and synthesis of complex systems and projects; develops and evaluates plans for projects or program activities; develops and recommends courses of action to solve
problems; possesses a thorough knowledge of operational mission requirements and national defense requirements; and is capable of operating in the multinational, interagency, joint and

GENERAL
• This position supports the mission of the DCC to exercise the authority of the DISA Director for Command and Control (C2) of DISA operations in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) and national leadership. The Principle Director of DISA Operations Directorate will operate the DCC and it will be staffed by personnel from across DISA directorates. • The DISA Command Center will provide Command and Control over the network of DISA NetOps Centers for the DISA Director. This C2 capability will give the Director and staff situational awareness of DISA services and the ability to direct the Agency activities in support of the DoD and cyberspace operations. The DCC will exercise robust and redundant C2 of all DISA resources under all circumstances, which includes cyber-attack, physical attack, and natural disaster.
• Reporting to the DISA Command Center (DCC) Deputy Commander, the Action Officer will oversee the effective and efficient operationalization of DISA Director essential mission priorities over assigned and attached DISA network operations (NetOps) forces in the execution of the cyber mission. The Action Officer will strengthen command and control capability for the DCC Commander along with providing situational awareness of the agency’s worldwide operations including: infrastructure, computing, and enterprise services.

The Recovery Care Coordinator (RCC) has the primary responsibility for the oversight and assistance for the Recovering Service Member’s (RSM’s)/family care management, throughout the continuum of care from recovery through rehabilitation to reintegration of either remaining on active duty or to civilian life as a veteran. JOB DUTIES

Job Description
The Technician will be responsible for assisting with the management
of a deployable support capability to assist with the recovery of
isolated personnel. The Technician will assist with the training,
standardization and readiness of the deployable capability. The
Technician will maintain deployment readiness standards and may be
required to deploy to Foreign Countries to provide support for short
duration operations and exercises.
Qualifications
