Responsibilities
• Guide, teach and mentor the ANSF‟s personnel proponent, in determining broad objectives of the personnel management systems, to include AHRIMS/PIMS/HRIS, in the establishment of policies and implementation guidance for the Ministry of Defense (MoD) and Ministry of Interior (MoI) strategic objectives
• Continue the development and implementation of a SQL Server 2005 database system for the ANSF which shall track all assigned ANA and ANP personnel
• Provide expertise and comprehensive training to ANSF personnel on the areas of AHRIMS/PIMS/HRIS data management, data quality assurance, data sanitization, database security protocols, and maintenance, and procedures for a database and integrated web-based security portal
• Monitor performance of ANSF personnel and the development of an automated systems and database; provide corrective training to eliminate the deficiencies
• Outline identified deficiencies and corrective actions taken; provide written reports to NTM-A/CSTC-A advisors and CJ1
• Perform site visits to each major command and intermediate command ensuring each area is in compliance with AHRIMS/PIMS/HRIS functions or preparing to implement AHRIMS
• Requires close coordination with the KMTC/Corps G1 mentors to plan for hardware, networking systems, consumable items, and office space issues; and resolve these issues as they arise during development and implementation
• Work in conjunction with other NTM-A/CSTC-A and contractors personnel to ensure all required equipment is properly accounted

Qualifications• Have ASP.net and Crystal Reports experience • Have Microsoft SQL Server certifications
• MCITP certificate, REQUIRED

Duties: This position is for a senior occupational safety and health and contract and constructions safety specialist at the Core Safety Office of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Midwest, Great Lakes, Illinois. The incumbent will be responsible to the NAVFAC Midwest Safety Manager for the development, administration and coordination of all facets of the Midwest's Contractor Safety and Health Program which includes construction and support contract safety monitoring and overall safety and health monitoring of numerous contract administration offices responsible for safety and health requirements during ongoing construction, demolition, rehabilitation and service related projects throughout the Midwest sixteen state area of responsibility. Responsible for scheduling, preparing for and conducting NAVFACMW oversight and assist evaluations of subordinate Public Works Department's Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Division's construction and service contract safety oversight processes. Conducts periodic evaluation and assessment of contractor worksite compliance with occupational safety and health standards issued by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and US Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual (EM-385-1-1). Develops, coordinates and/or conducts safety and health contract and construction related safety and health training courses for FEAD personnel involved in quality assurance of NAVFAC Midwest Facility Support and Construction Contracts. Administers and documents the NAVFAC Construction Safety and Health Hazard Awareness Correspondence Course, comprehensive closed book testing and the 40-Hour Construction Safety and Health Hazard Awareness Course. The incumbent maintains the Construction Safety Certification program for NAVFAC MW FEAD personnel. Reviews all suggestions concerning safety/health issues for contractors, including evaluation of problems and make recommendations as to the feasibility of adoption.
