Job Description

• Assists the Tactical Coordinator with coordination of all protective operations; and assumes the responsibilities of the Tactical Coordinator in his/her absence or when he/she is off duty. Additionally, the Operations Chief assists the Watch Officer in the Tactical Operations Center (TOC).

• The PSOC shall be designated as protective security specialist (P).

• The PSOC is required to attend the protective security specialist (PSS) training course.

• The PSOC shall maintain weapons qualifications with the Glock, M4, Shotgun, M240, M249 and M203 and familiarization fire for the AK47.

• The PSOC is authorized to permanently fill the position / labor category of the Protective Security Specialist (PSS) in case of shortages.

• Assists in the coordination and supervision of all protective operations to include the following:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Protection Cell within the Tactical Operations Center (TOC). Maintain a watch record. Assist Watch Officer as needed.

• Evaluate threatening situations and appropriately call for deployment of the Quick Reaction Force (QRF), Counter Assault Team (CAT) and Explosive Detection K-9 (EDD) teams.

• Operate communications equipment – monitor and relay radio traffic, effectively controlling the various protection nets. Monitor protective details.

• Communicate with entities outside of the protection cell with a variety of voice- and text-based communications technology including local cell phone, regional, and global satellite phone, tactical military radio, and UHF/VHF radio.

• Prepare daily and weekly reports as requested by supervisory chain-of-command.

• Ensure that protective details submit required mission paperwork prior to the start of a mission.

• Monitor protective details and assist protection specialists with mission planning.

• Maintain a database of all protective missions.

• Assist watch officer as necessary.

• Brief senior U.S. Embassy personnel during emergency situations.



Qualifications – Must haves:

• Eligible for a SECRET level security clearance

• Be a U.S. Citizen

• Have a level 3 English (Professional Working Proficiency)

• Seven (7) years of experience gained in the employ of any local, state, or national law enforcement agency, military, or private security (commercial) entities providing high threat protective services.

• At least 24 months (two years) of the seven years must have been in a protective security supervisory or in-charge capacity in personal protective security assignments. Example: Executive Protection/PSD/PSS/PPS/also known as close in protection that involves high threat protection measures to move and protect a principal. These twenty four months do not include protection support functions such as static security, estate security, uniformed law enforcement escorts and similar support – it must be personal protection on a principal.

• Shall have served as a PSS within the Area of Responsibility (AOR) (Iraq) for three (3) months or document skill sets that warrant selection to this position.

VETTING: Training is currently underway as part of the vetting process, and we are recruiting for upcoming classes. Deployment occurs generally within 1-10 weeks following training. You must pass all vetting to include training, client acceptance, clearance processing, medical and other screening requirements to deploy or to remain an employee on this contract.

Employment begins at the time of deployment which follows the successful vetting process. You will be paid retention pay during the training/travel portions of your vetting process (not while at home or otherwise not actively engaged); once deployed you will become an employee.

This contract is a one year task order with potential for four one-year extensions.

PSS / Emergency Medical Technician – Intermediate (EMT-I) (P) (OCONUS)



Job Description

• The EMT-I will conduct protective security operations and provide medic support as required to principal and PRS detail members.

• The EMT-I is designated as a protective security specialist (P) and is required to attend the protective security specialist (PSS) training course.

• The EMT-I is required to maintain weapons qualification with the Glock, M4, Shotgun, M240, M249 and M203 and familiarization fire for the AK47.

• The EMT-I vetted personnel are authorized to permanently fill the Labor Categories of EMT-I and the PSS in case of shortages.



Qualifications



• U.S. Citizen

• Level 3 English proficiency (professional working proficiency).

• Three (3) years of experience gained in the employ of any local, state, or national law enforcement agency, military, or private security (commercial) entities providing high threat protective services.

• Twelve months (1 year total) of the three years shall include experience in personal protective security assignments. Example: Executive Protection/PSD/PSS/PPS/also known as close in protection that involves high threat protection measures to move and protect a principal. These twelve months do not include protection support functions such as static security, estate security, uniformed law enforcement escorts and similar support – it must be personal protection on a principal.



• Have experience/knowledge in current TCCC guidelines.

• The EMT-I shall successfully complete the PSS training requirements CONUS and shall receive extensive ON JOB TRAINING (OJT).

• Contractor shall comply with the following EMT I qualifications:

1. Successful completion of State or National Registry EMT-Intermediate/85

2. Written and practical examinations.

3. Submission of current approved CPR credentials for the professional rescuer.

4. Registration must be valid for the period of deployment.

VETTING: Training is currently underway as part of the vetting process, and we are recruiting for upcoming classes. Deployment occurs generally within 1-10 weeks following training. You must pass all vetting to include training, client acceptance, clearance processing, medical and other screening requirements to deploy or to remain an employee on this contract.

Employment begins at the time of deployment which follows the successful vetting process. You will be paid retention pay during the training/travel portions of your vetting process (not while at home or otherwise not actively engaged); once deployed you will become an employee.

This contract is a one year task order with potential for four one-year extensions.

Leave Rotation: 105 Days On / 35 Days Off; subject to adjustment for initial mobilization, deployment cycles and other personnel staffing needs.



Deployment Insurance: DBA Insurance Coverage for deployment and travel to and from deployment, and while engaged in company directed training events.
