A field service technician is needed to operate, install, service, and conduct training on all end-user products. The position involves frequent travel.



As a representative of this innovative organization you will be interacting with leading scientists and engineers at some of the most advanced research laboratories in the world. When not at customer sites you will be improving system hardware and procedures, manufacturing more systems, systems R&D, and providing technical assistance to customers while working at local headquarters.



The qualified candidate will have at least a 2-year technical degree in electronics or equivalent military training in a related field. A thorough understanding of basic electricity and analog/digital theory is required. Ability to read wiring diagrams, electronic/mechanical drawings and schematics, and technical operation manuals. Must have experience in installing, troubleshooting and servicing instrumentation and/or electromechanical systems. Ability to safely use 30lb man carried system in many different climates and landscapes. Must possess computer skills, have a solid mechanical aptitude, organization, and excellent communication skills. Strong ability to maintain high level of productivity and attention to detail while working independently. Team player is a must. Security clearance is a plus. Experience in a research and development environment is a plus.

Operates S-61 helicopters in support of the U.S. Department of State (DoS), Bureau for Diplomatic Security (DS), under oversight from the Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Office of Aviation (INL/A).

Principle Accountabilities
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Mission is to provide aviation support services in Iraq for Air Transport, Reconnaissance and Security, Casualty Evacuations, Quick Reaction Forces to respond to incidents, for Chief of Mission personnel or other personnel required by U.S. Government Authority to conduct official business. Mission tasks may also require aerial gunnery and escort of ground forces. Applicant will be required to fly both single and multi-ship day, night, and Night Vision Goggle (NVG) missions; primarily under visual meteorological conditions. Applicant will be required to maintain NVG currency and Instrument proficiency. The successful applicant will perform duties as a Pilot, Pilot-in- Command, Air Mission Commander, Flight Lead, or Lead Pilot. The Lead Pilot will assign other tasks as required. Upon successful completion of initial training, assignment will be in the Republic of Iraq. Potential for exposure to hostile fire in this region is high.

3,000 total rotary wing flight hours including 1000 hours of turbine engine time. Applicant must be Night Vision Goggle (NVG) qualified and have 300 hours of NVG experience. IP/SP applicants require 500 hours turbine instructor pilot or check pilot in a civil or military organization; SP applicants require 1 year experience managing training programs in a formal civilian or military training activity. MP/ME applicants require 300 hours maintenance pilot time in civil or military organization, ME applicants require 1 year experience managing maintenance programs in a formal civilian or military training activity. Individual must possess a thorough knowledge of FAA and ICAO regulations pertinent to the host country and operational requirement. Possess, or ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance as a condition of continued employment; an active DoD Secret Security Clearance preferred. Will be responsible for maintaining weapons qualification with the Glock 9 and M4. Must possess a current US passport or the ability to obtain one before assignment.

Experience & Education
Demonstrated, proven and verifiable aviation experience including ethics, ability, and professionalism of the highest standards are required for this position. Only resumes showing a minimum of 3,000 hours of helicopter pilot experience will be considered. Individual must be qualified and have a minimum of 300 hours of NVG pilot time. Position Description
Job Summary
Perform duties as a Pilot, Pilot-in-Command, Air mission Commander, Flight Lead, or Lead Pilot on single ship and multi-ship C-27A aircraft missions flown in support of the U.S. Department of State (DoS) under oversight from the Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Office of Aviation (INL/A). Performs training missions in C-27A aircraft during the day, and at night under both visual and Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC). Responsible for conducting Fixed Wing Pilot training and evaluations, administrative duties, i.e. flight records, AWIS, publications and references. Performs operational checks, routine maintenance, and maintenance test flights to ensure the airworthiness of the fleet. Monitors flight instruction, to include standardization of transitions, annual proficiency reviews and flight evaluations.

Principal Accountabilities
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for training and flight evaluations of program pilots.
2. Writes and administers examinations to validate pilot qualification.
3. Responsible for developing examinations to determine the knowledge and proficiency of pilots.
4. Responsible for monitoring flight instruction including standardization of transitions, annual proficiency reviews, and flight evaluations.
5. Report status of pilot training, proficiency reviews, flight evaluations, currency of certifications and records to Operations Manager.
6. Participates in the selection and training process of new pilots to the INL Program.
7. Trains and qualifies crewmembers for day, night, and NVG operations.
8. The employee may be assigned other aviation duties as required.
9. Conducts academic and hands-on performance training and administers evaluations to ensure pilot proficiency and standardization of training in addition to maintaining IATF's and completing required AWIS entries.
10. Provide fixed wing aviation mission support and flight instruction, aircraft transitions, annual proficiency reviews, and flight evaluations.
11. These flights are accomplished day and night, under visual and instrument meteorological conditions.
12. Develops examinations to determine the proficiency of fixed-wing pilots and test pilots, and non-rated crew members.
13. Processes and reports operational and training evaluation results.
14. Oversees maintenance of pilot flight records, weight and balance calculations, and risk assessments.
15. Monitors pilot proficiency in phases of mission planning and flight operations to ensure compliance with policies and directives.
16. Conducts academic and hands-on performance training and administers evaluations to ensure pilot proficiency and standardization of training in addition to maintaining IATF's and completing required AWIS entries.
17. Performs operational checks, routine maintenance, and maintenance test flights to ensure the airworthiness of the fleet.
18. Applicant will be required to maintain Instrument proficiency.
19. Maintain knowledge of additions and changes to all applicable SOP�s, and documentation integral to contract operations.

Knowledge & Skills
1. Branch 15 Aviation MOS series or other military/commercial equivalent (153B preferred); qualification in
in C-27A aircraft is required before or incident to assignment, and must be able to satisfactorily complete an IP and MP flight evaluation.
2. FAA Commercial and Airman�s Certificate with Instrument and Multi-engine Land rating required.
3. An FAA CFI/CFII rating in type and category or military equivalent is required.
4. Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.

Experience & Education

Qualifications and Evaluations
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Specialized Experience Requirements: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is in or related to the work of the position to be filled.
For GS-12 grade level, applicants must have at least one (1) year specialized experience that includes planning, managing, and executing complex logistics management efforts to support program objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
To qualify for this position at the GS-12 level you must possess the following :
One full year of specialized experience. Under the direction of the Director of Maintenance, maintains assigned Fixed Wing Aircraft in support of the INL/A Drug Eradication program. Principal Accountabilities

Job Summary
Performs a variety of HR support activities related to On-boarding, New Hire Orientation, Benefits Administration, Deployment, and Recordkeeping

Principal Accountabilities
1. Routine HR support services and coordination of HR functional tasks
2. Represent HR department in certain environments as directed
3. Follow established guidelines in performing routine day-to-day tasks.
4. Compile and summarize responses to questionnaires, surveys or other information from assigned department.
5. Input data in Human Resources Information System as directed by authorized persons.
6. Create and maintain Human Resources (PHF) files in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
7. Research information about various topics, as requested.
8. Administer pre-employment tests and/or scheduling of testing as directed
9. Administer audits of HRIS entry, PHFs, FSAs, etc.

Benefits Coordination
1. Process and maintains required employee records, files and claims related to medical, dental, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, and other employee benefits for salaried and hourly employees.
2. Responsible for in-processing and enrolling new hires, rehires, and transfers into the appropriate plan as it relates to benefits processing. Ensure all benefits flex forms are completed properly and forwarded to corporate in a timely manner.
3. Responsible for disseminating annual open enrollment information.
4. Responsible for the verification of benefits data entry into PeopleSoft.
5. Create and maintain all employee benefits folders in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
6. Serve as a liaison between corporate and Airwing personnel as it relates to benefits and leaves of absences (LOA), Workman�s Compensation carrier, etc.
7. Responsible for the data entry of all LOAs, as well as monitoring expiring LOAs, and employee notification of LOA expiration.
8. Responsible for the data entry of all occupational injury reports (OIR) and submission of LS202s to the appropriate carrier and corporate contact.
9. Serves as a liaison between workers compensation carrier and Airwing personnel.
10. Obtain appropriate signatures and process all requests for tuition reimbursement.

On-boarding and Transfers

Deployment and SPOT
19. Coordinate deployment and coordinate with travel arrangements for OCONUS personnel.
20. Serve as the HR liaison in the deployment operations cell.
21. Input SPOT data entries and maintain SPOT Log.
22. Receive letters of authorization and forward to security to initiate CAC card application.
23. Schedule and conduct deployment/out-processing briefings.
24. Update New Hire Tracking Log with deployment dates.
25. PS data entry for personnel deploying/out-processing (ECN, FSA).

Provide flight medical support for the U.S. Department of State (DoS), Bureau for Diplomatic Security (DS), under oversight from the Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Office of Aviation (INL/A) in the Republic of Iraq.

Principal Accountabilities
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provides health care services to patients under the direction and responsibility of a Physician Assistant, Physician, or Nurse Practitioner.
2. Provides medical support as a flight medic during aero medical evacuations.
3. Examines patients, performs physical exams, and compiles medical data, including health history.
4. Performs therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, management of infection, EKGs, etc.
5. Renders direct patient care, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, prescribing pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment of health problems, health promotion, and preventative care.
6. Applies scientific knowledge to human treatment responses to actual or potential health problems.
7. Documents and maintains patient records of services.
8. Participates in employee training and orientation programs.
9. Plans and prepares for aero medical evacuation missions.
10. Coordinates with operational mission planners for the safe evacuation of the patients from the originating mission to the destination facility.

Experience & Education

Have an in-depth knowledge of Security and life-saving Medical procedures. Have a working knowledge of FOL sanitary requirements to maintain a healthy working environment. Have knowledge of body recovery procedures. Have knowledge of advanced cardiology, to include operation of Defibrillator equipment, accurate reading and diagnosis of cardiac strips, and ACLS algorithms with appropriate drug treatment protocol. Be knowledgeable of Advanced Trauma Care, to include immediate assessment and treatment of ANY traumatic life threatening injury, advanced airway management (Intubations, Surgical Cricothyrotomy), advanced invasive procedures (Needle Decompression, Chest Tube Thoracotomy), advanced Circulatory support (Venous access through cut down procedures, blood typing and cross match, blood transfusion protocols). Have knowledge of Advanced Diagnosis and Treatment of illnesses to include, but not limited to, the following systems cardiac, pulmonary, dermatology, musculoskeletal, neurological, endocrine, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary. Be knowledgeable of wound repair, to include anesthesia, nerve blocks, and suturing with proper aseptic technique. Have knowledge of general sick call procedures. Have a general knowledge of radiological (basic) analysis. Have knowledge of material inventory principles.
