Position is with Ideal Innovations, Inc. (I3) and contracted to the Department of Defense. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: examination of processed latent fingerprints and evaluation of their quality for entry into the DoD Enterprise ABIS; preparation of latent fingerprints for entry into the ABIS through digital imaging techniques to improve the quality and integrity of digitized computer images through enhancement of fingerprint details and encoding prior to computer searches for matches; manually comparing latent fingerprints with candidate fingerprints retrieved from ABIS in order to determine positive identifications; and preparing reports on the types and quantities of fingerprints processed and results. High-volume throughput lab experience preferred, as well as vast experience in the examination and identification of extremely fragmented ridge detail (Complex examinations). In addition to these duties, examiners mayalso process face and iris images following training as a Facial and Iris Recognition Expert by the DoD.

The position may also involve supervisory duties including auditing other CLPE’s casework and mentoring less experienced CLPEs in best practices and procedures. Familiarity with ASCLD-LAB and/or ISO SOPs is a must.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

A. I qualify based on Undergraduate and Graduate Education, I have completed a Major study in: finance, business administration, economics, accounting, insurance, engineering, mathematics, banking and credit, law, real estate operations, statistics, or other fields related to the position.

Possess experience applying laws, regulations, and administrative rulings in the performance of such work as determining the kind and amount of insurance necessary to protect the security of government or comparable business loans and the interest of the borrower under loan programs; analyzing rates and risk classifications to determine their reasonableness; experience in insurance specialties such as National Flood Insurance or similar duties.

To qualify for this position at the GS-12 level you must possess following Specialized Experience:
Specialized experience is experience that equips the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled to include demonstrated experience with the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), its policies, procedures and practices; and an understanding of the claims aspects of the NFIP. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation. The Technical Manager will be responsible for the radio team and will perform all technical operations and maintenance pertaining to the Regional Command Center (RCC) broadcasting studio’s software and hardware in order to conduct radio media broadcasting. The Technical Manager shall supervise and provide technical support for each of the RIAB locations in conjunction with the RIAB Technician, field RIAB representative and RIAB operators for the operations and maintenance of the RIAB equipment.

The Technical Manager must have one year of deployed experience in a contingency environment. Experience of the Technical Manager shall include no less than two years previous experience working in or with a live radio or recording production studio. The Technical Manager must have at a minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, information systems management, computer science, electrical engineering or a related field. The technical manager shall be trained, prior to entry into theater, in the audio software and hardware procured as part of this contract.

The Radio Technician will assist the Technical manager in performing all duties required to provide technical support to local RIAB operators and RIAB field representatives. The RIAB Technician shall be based out of the CJTF-101 Headquarters but will be available to travel to RIAB locations for any required operations and maintenance support.

The Technician must have at least one year of deployed experience in a contingency environment working in information technology, information systems management, computer science, electrical engineering or a related field.

The Studio Manager perform all duties required to execute and manage media production and content broadcasting. The studio manager shall supervise the daily operations of the radio station. Daily operations include transmitting routine news and weather updates to local RIAB stations, conducting recorded studio events and live broadcasting events, monitoring RIAB transmission status, scheduling and producing regional broadcast content which include re-transmission of a national broadcast, archiving of local RIAB operator content and broadcasts, managing shared media and content files and broadcast on-demand breaking news messages. The Studio Manager shall maintain a daily broadcast schedule and provide a copy daily to the RCC as required.

The Studio Manager will have a minimum of three years working in a live radio or recording production studio.
