• The Deputy Project Manager assists the Project Manager in supervising, overseeing, and directing the program in Iraq.
• Assists the Project Manager in providing direction to the staff working in Iraq. Such direction includes identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining security processes, practices, and policies throughout the organization to (1) respond to incidents, (2) reduce risks, and (3) be aware of and have access to information on any potential risks to the program and all involved parties (i.e. financial, physical security, reputation etc.).
• Recommends appropriate standards and associated risk controls to the Project Manager who will evaluate those recommendations and may propose them to the Contracting Officer (CO), Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR/GTM), and Regional Security Officer (RSO).
• Assists the Project Manager in ensuring timely and accurate reporting, assists in evaluating personnel prior to them being approved for any position under this contract.
• Assists in ensuring all aspects of planning, scheduling, organizing, managing, and assessing performance of assigned leadership, support personnel and sub contractor assigned under this contract.
